Those heavy seed trays that you're buying are going to hold up for you much longer than those cheap wimpy plastic ones, so good idea to buy those.

I agree! We need to think how long they will last and also how much money we will save long term with our growing 🥰

Just so you know the green plastic on those greenhouses breaks down and the plastic in the extreme Portugal's Sun. By the end of the first season maybe you'll make it to the second season the UV rays there are so extreme that the plastic just gets dry and breaks down. I watch a lot of other homesteads in Portugal, and after they have bought those type of greenhouses out in the direct hot sun, what usually ends up happening is the front door falls off. And then you start seeing holes in the plastic on the tops of the hoops, and then the whole thing is just breaking down and gets torn to shreds, in a windstorm usually. Probably will work for you for a season or 2. You're probably going to have to build some type of glass greenhouse with old windows that you can pick up from around there, or 8nvest in those wavy opaque clearish panels that you can buy in Portugal They're not cheap, but they're going to hold up much longer for you. So you can bow those over the top, maybe build some type of metal superstructure with other hoops and put them closer togethe Then support those wavy opaque greenhouse panels to let the light in. I hate telling you this after you just bought it. But you just don't know, because you haven't been there that long. That sun is just brutal there.

Thank you for letting us know. I think if it gets us going for now (as we continue to focus on the main house)we can address a more permanent structure in the future 🥰
