Yeah, the Weezer cover is kinda fun, and good for him for bringing this iconic song to the consciousness of the younger folk, but Toto's original is still the best IMHO.

I love the original song. So so much. But I think Weezer could of done better by NOT having the backup singers in the same tone as the lead. They were all high pitched. They needed an alto. They were all trying to be leading in the chorus. It sounded silly

My sense is there's not a lot of auto-tune. This is kinda old-school. It's okay. A guy with a really strong voice would come in and blow this away - like Bono or someone . But this is okay.
