The instruction manual for this projector mount says that you can flush mount the projector to the ceiling without using the pipe. However I can’t seem to find a good video or any clear instructions on how to do that. If anyone has a link please provide one! Thank you!
My tools would be perfect.... but I have a wife and 4 kids... so.... of course the 1/2 inch socket is always gone... so are all phillips and hammers. and when you ask... all they say is, “I didn't do it".
I got the projector up and used the 3in 1/4 in lag screws. This video helped a lot and I also used 2 toggles. Thanks for posting this!
thank you for very usefull video just as i am mounting my 5050ub but with cheap universal mount(what i had)
I bought a used Epson 4040 but there’s no key for the mount and they used security bolts. Are the keys universal? Thank you Jose.

Excellent video Jose .. perfect for my DIY 6050 install next year
Are those torx screws strong enough if mounting a 50 to 60lb JVC projector?
Yes, which ceiling mount did you use? Which model is best for the 5050ube?
Looks like some kind of hybrid chief mount... Look at Chief Kit PD003
