Graham, I have 2 safefill bottles they are the same size that you use, just filled both up for just over £20 they are a no brainer, and already paid for themselves, yes they are not cheap to buy initially but sell for almost the same price when you have finished with them...and another great thing you can top them up anytime, you don't need to wait until they are empty...cheers
Hi Graham. We are going to replace our bottle maybe in a months time. Still on the red bottle for us 😆 mind you, they've lasted as I've been too tight to use the gas cooker 😆 have a safe trip. Paul and Sarah
Hi Graham great vlog as usual we have a Mercedes as well it’s a Glc and copes really well with towing it’s a 220 4 matic . How is yours coping now with all the extra miles you must be doing now you are retired lucky man keep the videos coming 👍
Yes, we looked at this year's model and it opens wider. Looks like the hinge mechanism is different. Why after making caravans for 60 years you suddenly think it's a good idea to restrict the opening of the locker is beyond my comprehension... :-)
Hi Graham , doesn’t look a bad site, bet it’s nice in summer just a bit open in winter/ spring … Have you tried Delph Bank ? Further up Lincolnshire/ Norfolk, stunning site part of the tranquil parks group, would absolutely recommend if you are going north . Also Old Brick Kilns at Little Barney nr Fakenham , another gem 💎
Mid watching this vlog and was inspired to check the car tyre pressures. One tyre was very low. Pumped up now, might be a slow puncture or leaky valve. But you may have saved a life….
Hi Graham, you’ve got me searching for safefill retailers... Currently using our last Calorlite so may have to move onto the normal hefty 6kg Calor 😕. Buggers the noseweight up. One 6kg bottle lasts us just over a year (approx 60 nights away) mainly for dual fuel water heating for showering. Enjoy your break 👍. Cheers, Rob
Good to see you doing all the checks. I remember lugging gas cylinders 😉 we burn more LPG in the van conversion as we are not always on hookup. We have a 12 litre underslung tank that costs £11.75 to fill from empty. If you can find a local supplier in the UK 😝 Trev
Can't make my mind up whether to move to safefill or not, so many pro's and cons! We are a brand new caravanning review channel too, so make sure to check us out!
Graham, I'm shocked! You took a trolley in with your gas. That puts you in the 10% club of people who, when their gas arrives, don't ask for my trolley and leave me to carry their empties to the far side of the store! After years of research, i now take a spare trolley for them and on rare occassions get a " Thank you". Enjoy your trip.
How much did you say it cost. If I heard right doesn’t sound that much cheaper than calor. I use two 7kg butane and latest price is about £33 each. Was the price you said for one or both. I know you said 10kg.

Safefill all the way here…..fingers crossed the availability of filling points do not disappear altogether 😮

We do love the GLE. We had a GLC before it got stolen, and probably on reflection we prefer the GLC.
We replaced our gas bottle a few weeks ago and I thought the same as you, prices have gone down. Keep safe
That's the main thing I hate about Swift caravans - that gas locker door!!

Big Safefill fanboy here, I've even got it tattooed across my backside, when I bend over it says Safe O fill 😍

I have a van out in Spain, 12 kg of propane £13, repeat £13, I also have a van in the UK, 6kg £27 , were all just having our leg lifted in the UK.😡
Gas still going up
In Australia 😢 always go by the tyre pressure marked on the tyre they change all the time on different brands

Loving the sound track on this one Graham! 👍
Thanks. 👍🏻
Think I paid £30 for a refill at Costco Graham. It was last year but a lot cheaper than at Homebase.
Costco sale the same gas and I think it’s £39 a bottle for refills
Graham you should check your tyres on every journey especially when towing how long have you had this car must at least 2 years ?
The car monitors tyre pressures.
@@CaravanVlogger never rely on technology also check before towing
The Gaslight (is that what they’re called) bottles look very similar to the Safefill ones, are they manufactured by the same company?
I don’t know who makes them, but very similar bottles 👍🏻
Call me sad, but at the end of the vlog and you pressed you key fob to set your alarm, I'm sure two beeps is turning it off..... 😂😂😂
It is you’re right. I remember it “beep beep” “let’s go” which is probably more sad
@@CaravanVlogger I'm beep, on beep, beep it's off 😁

Not cheap, but light and the amount we use, makes sense to us..
Brighton ?? 😂😂😂😂 Clive
Don't forget too check your nuts 😂😂
😆Cheeky 😇
Just paid £38.50 at Costco same bottles. They are £41 at local tool hire homebase
Are rip off Britain.
OMG it's vlogger loads of money. Heating an empty van 🤣🤣😁😁 you should have cooked dinner in there at least
Better than giving the gas back 🤣
Graham for a retiree your wheels are disgusting
He’s just been through all them muddy puddles don’t just pick up on the negatives
Great content as always 👍👍
