We used to store our caravan at Ashridge Farm, which is about 15 minutes away from where we live, and you were on the same pitch where we had our first family outing with our first caravan, nearly 17 years ago. We had bought the van from my mother-in-law after my father-in-law died but we didn’t use it for a couple of years because we had a baby and didn’t have the courage to learn a baby and caravan at the same time. A couple of years later, we had another baby, but needed a break from home, but this time we didn’t trust the caravan’s roadworthiness, as it was quite old and had been sitting idle for three years. The warden towed the van out of the storage pound and put it on the pitch for us and we spent an entire week, 15 minutes from home and didn’t come back once. We were hooked and now on our fourth van but unlike you, we’ve not been out in it since October.
Hi Graham, Thanks for the vlog. Memories of Harlow hospital, both our kids were born there 20+ years ago. Moved back up to my Northern tribal homelands since. Loved the “Bus timetables for motor-homers” line.
Why do you assume it's only motorhomers that use public transport from the site? It's one of the main things I check when looking at sites. Some of us like to have a drink in town.
Serious question all this stress of finding sites and rushing to hospital appointments, are you monitoring your blood pressure? You can get a home blood pressure monitor.
Thanks for watching. Yes the NHS has me covered on that matter 👍🏻 Some family history of heart problems, so I'm well monitored and necessary steps have been taken 👍🏻 During lockdown I bought a blood pressure monitor too. It's not that stressful, but I just like to share the other side of life as well as the sunny Instagram stories most share 😇 Sorry Bob didn't realise it was you until after I'd replied
@@CaravanVlogger That’s alright Graham, problem with UA-cam it shows nickname not real name. Now you know me I don’t have to repeat myself on the other formats😂
Hi Graham, Ashridge Farm is one of my favourite CAMC sites. So much to see in the area, Shuttleworth Collection, IWM Duxford, the De Haviland Museum. BUT have you seen the dramatic increase in laundry prices at CAMC sites. A 25% increase for the tokens for the washing machines and tumble dryers making laundry 35% more expensive than Caravan and Camping Club sites. Perhaps choosing a Bentley Bentayga as Tow Car of the Year indicates the customer profile that the CAMC caters for!
Thanks for watching. Yes! They went up whilst we were there. Shocking We pay less on a CCC site we are on, and pitch cost is less. Over 21 nights we save £200 on a CCC site over a CAMC site too
Funniest line of tonight “Bus timetable for you motorhomers” 😀
Thanks for watching

We like this site. No more than 10 minutes from home!
Sure you will be fine mate.👍
Am going through the same with my prostate - joy waiting for the next PSA result

Thanks for watching. I don’t, just a bit of fun - a bit of a running joke.
