I didn’t understand why us caravaners get so much grief from other road users! That is, until now 😂😂 Thanks for the mention, we had a couple of lovely stays at Foxhills, admittedly further back from the road than you though. Good pub in the village, serving great food too. Happy (safe) travels, Helen & Dave 👍
Our caravan has a hot draw and it works amazingly for drying towels etc. It is just above the boiler we did think what a waist at the time but now just love it. We use it for all towels storage and after a shower we can dry our self’s with a hot towel. Yes please.
Hopefully people will see your video and approach from the other way. Thankfully noone was hurt and you feel better. I am noise intolerant so I understand traffic noise. Some have different levels and specific tone intolerances and these can raise your stress if you focus on any one sound. Take care.
I recommend Seacroft in Cromer. We try and stay there at least once a year. We were there a few weeks ago. Being a motorhomer, with a heavy vehicle, and towing a trailer we avoid grass pitches. That said, in Europe, some sites don’t have hard standing pitches.
That entrance looked downright dangerous, you wouldn't have spotted the brow of the hill even if you did do your homework. Nice being close to the sea, though. Lookung forward to your next one.
We stayed at Foxhills once. Very nice site ( we were on the CL) and the owner was very welcoming. However we resolved never to visit again due to that horrific access ! Even without the 'van on the back it was a nightmare.
At least you apologised to the car you cut across. However, I cant believe as you were reversing back onto the road that cars were overtaking those waiting to let you out reverse!
Thanks for watching. I have a camera on the rear of the caravan so I was able to see cars. I don’t think I ever went onto the road, think I managed to keep on the junction. People aren’t patient / forgiving of people’s mistakes. It’s the world we live in I guess. Everyone else is perfect and the one who messed up is a moron 😆 Was mad wasn’t it, car overtaking, cars going down the side of me 🙄 As I mentioned, that’s camera is a godsend
The worst case I've had is where a car overtook, only to find it wasn't us & our caravan holding up the traffic! There was a slow driver in front of us! Could have been a lot worse! Fortunately I saw him in my mirrors and could slow up to give him room to get in before the approaching car on the other side!
Hi Mr Vlogger You might be able to answer a question for me please, I notice you have a TV in your bedroom, can you tell me the size of that and save me a 2 hour round trip to our storage yard? Much appreacited
@@CaravanVlogger Great, thank you. We looked at that site you are on. I’m glad I looked at your vlog. We have a twin wheel and that looked like a nightmare to get in. We haven’t been to carington waters yet, we booked but had to cancel. Look forward to seeing how it is there. We are planning a visit. We fancy a walk along the old railway path. Thanks for your reply and enjoy your time away.
So is this when the camera on the back of the caravan came into its own.. I would have needed someone to stop the cars first... School boy error Graham.. I would have course gone on Google maps street view and seen the problem first. Because I'm perfect not 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching. Mandy did look at google earth and told me exactly what the entrance was like. But, the sat nav told us it was a mile down the road, so I wasn’t sure which junction it was and was looking for the sign… Yes camera on the caravan helped a lot. Getting out again was fine and I think if I went again (which I won’t) the entrance would be fine

Much ado about nothing, man who never made a mistake never made anything. Enjoying your trotting around 👍

Blimey scary but well done mate brilliantly recovered!
Carsington water is a lovely site. Mobile chippy on a Friday is amazing and definitely worth the money.

SpecSavers comes to mind, it can happen to all of us, it looks a pigs ear Graham getting in there. Best wishes to you both, enjoy. Clive
I do manage to exit correctly (next vlog) TBH the satnav messed up so I was unsure where the blooming entrance was!

Maybe its where an option to drive further and turn there, maybe a roundabout.
Been there. We agree that is the most dangerous entrance we have ever had in 20 years. Leaving was even worse.
Thanks for watching. Tomorrow’s vlog I do the exit 🥴

Thanks for watching. We are used to most sites being in places that aren’t caravan friendly but this one takes the biscuit.
Funny we have curtains all round, nets too but they drive me a bit nuts to be honest
New Challenger SE, only curtains at the front windows and no window in the central bathroom.
Yes we liked it (in next weeks vlog) don’t try the chips though

Madness isn’t it. I often get cars pulling out in front of me as they don’t want to get stuck behind a caravan 🙄
Do you drop your water tank every time you move site
Thanks for watching. No we don’t do it every time

I notice you have a TV in your bedroom, can you tell me the
size of that and save me a 2 hour round trip to our storage yard?

Come from the other direction. Problem solved.
@Cous1nJack If only it was that simple, this is Norfolk, second only to Cornwall for caravan unfriendly roads 😆🤷🏼♂️🥴
It’s called doing your home work mate !!
Don't take this the wrong way but you made a right cows arse of that, preparation man, preparation, just sayin
Haha yes I did. Watch next week as i do the exit correctly.
I show my mistakes to make evryon else feel better :-)
How do you keep your front cover clean 👍
It must have been the driving rain? I don't do anything to clean it?

A motorhomer would have managed it, and seen the car coming before turning.😂
🥴 Just a few of their many super powers I’m sure 😆
Carsington waters is our local site, don't go on the grass pitches, go up near the shower block.
Never mind Graham lol even world famous international caravan vloggers make mistakes lol
I do it so others feel better about themselves. I'm all heart
