Successfully changed my CR-V’s alternator today using only this video. Thank you so much for making this! You’re a great teacher. The worst part was accessing and breaking free the lower screws on the alternator.

Man, you are fantastic at making instructional videos. Just enough detail that you don't feel lost, but concise enough that it doesn't feel like info overload or boring. Excellent camera views

I currently have no need for this video, but I've watched several of your videos in the past and you do an excellent job. I'll add this one to my memory bank for when my 2010 CRV needs a new alternator.

Hi Vinnie, everything worked well but the replacement of the drive belt. I'm positive I have the correct size, but maneuvering onto the last wheel is virtually impossible. And this is trying both above and below. Are there any additional inexpensive options?

Hi can you described what are the most common symptoms of a failing alternator including any weird noises, etc.? Thank you.

Nothing like my 2007 crv. Two bolts that hold alternator on and take tension off belt with 19 mm spanner ( sorry, Wrench). No need to remove anything else.

Hey folks, when did your alternator go out? How many miles were on it? I got 200,000 miles on original alternator, might just replace it soon to be safe.

My Alternator went out around 225,000 miles. I’m pretty impressed to say the least haha.

My alternator was rattling. That's how I found the issue. Think it was the bearings
