No. Helium works in a balloon because the actual weight of the balloon is so low, which is why it floats. Helium in such small quantities, like in a shoe like this or even in a soccer ball, because the weight of the rest of object is so heavy, using helium instead of air has no impact on anything.
Thats just incorrect. Helium gas has half the density of air - which in turn would make an object such as a ball or shoe weigh less overall. its not going to make the shoes float away, but it would in fact change the weight of the shoe overall, thus it would be different.

I got the VaporMax 2 when they came out, and it definitely seems like the air bags are much firmer in comparison to the original. I personally prefer the way the newer ones feel.
I bought two pairs and I hate them it feels like you're walking on rough uneven surface I've owned various Air Max shoes and really liked them. I thought if would have been great if nike had put valve in the sole of the Air Max so you could adjust the amount of pressure.
I just hope they don't wear to the right of the sole like tnz. I'm thinking they won't as there's no suport bars pushing the foot to the right. I've just ordered the chukka slips in black

There's some thin structure, yes. This is not a training shoe. These are not meant for sprinting or making hard stops and changes of direction. It's imply not designed for that.
The all black ones are nice! They came out on March 26th, the initial launch day and sold out in minutes. So they are very, very limited. They actually were available at Nikelab.com. (Nike products on that sight are pretty much exclusive and not found in retail stores.) The good news is, they should be releasing them again since 5 new colorways are being releasing in the next 2 months.

I personally prefer the Phantoms, mainly because of the upper in general. I just prefer the overall fit and feel of that boot over the Purechaos. The Purechoas is great, but the two boots are quite a bit different from each other.

Does that really count as cross branding? I know that bothers some people, but I would say that's a normal thing to do for the most part. I've never spent extra time or money to match the brand of my socks or clothes to my shoes.

I have yet to see *a single* review of this shoe that praises it for running, and I really do think Nike wanted to bring runners back to Air. Instead, just another shoe for the bros in the hood and home boyz wanna-bees.

As long as you're not walking on nails or anything like that, you shouldn't have any issues. The rubber is much thicker than you might expect.

If you're wearing them casually, they're fine for that. The price is something that you have to be able to justify though.

I personally prefer the Opus, but it depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
