Wow, I was just near here yesterday, but I went poking around Vivan Creek instead of Big Falls. It was sort of a spontaneous trip on my part. I'm looking forward to checking these out next time! Great Video! These look magical!
@@lopezexplorayo I go there every yr there’s even a better waterfall if u make a right on trail from the start and make a left when u see a big 🪣 on yo right side just follow water and it’s kinda like Bonita falls no one really knows that one it’s like a 30 minute hike from parking lot
Great video! I thought those falls would be dried up because there hasn't been rain for a while. Glad to see there's still a good flow. Thanks Ignacio!
@@lopezexplora Heidi and I stayed in Big Bear and went to Big Falls on the way back home, we ran into two news reporters who were covering a death that had just occurred the day before, I had just gone up to the big fall. They wanted my opinion but I refused to be filmed. I never put the footage up because of that. It is very sketchy up there and hard to get around.
If you go on the right side just before approaching the lower falls ( next to a warning sign ) that’s where the trail starts and is less steep, stay on the right all the way until the viewpoint
Gracias 🙏
Yes it’s dangerous. Many people are hurt there every years. I’ve seen the rescues. One year they had 60 rescues. I’d advise not to try it, but if you do, be extra careful and avoid the slippery rocks. Also, please leave spray paint cans at home. And pack your trash out. 🗑️
Thank you, Ignacio. ✨️ 🤍🙏
My pleasure!!

@ Yes it’s very dangerous, that’s why I mentioned it on my video. Last thing I want it’s sending the wrong message.
Your message was very clear on safety for sure 👍🏻
I was just there the day before you. I stopped at the lower falls. but I now want to hike up a little further
Just be extra careful!!
@@lopezexplora yes of course. did you hike up the left or right side of the lower falls? the right side looked steep.

Used to live in banning. Went all the time
I guess is a very cold water, where that water comes from?
Comes from top of the San Bernardino mountains, mostly melted snow and underground aquifers. It’s freezing water !! 💦
Thank you for watching 🙏
Please don’t put your life at risk
Thank you for caring, I watched every single step so carefully and slow!
Wow gran video !👍
