It's a tough place to hike and the routes I used to take were all washed out from all the rain we got. Almost fell off that first log I crossed, left that part out of the video.
Beautiful hike and camp. Years ago, did some hiking and a fair amount of canoe packing. Still like my boondocking, but pushing 70 this year, so enjoying my little trailer. 😂😉 Also, as a fellow creator, I know the a work you put into to this video, Really nicely done. 😎 -Mark
I lived in Forest falls for a few years, so I spent a lot of time poking around and talking to the local hikers. I believe it's called the fire man's route.
@@HeliJim400 I actually beat that trail pretty well when I was a kid growing up in Forest Falls. We would hike that ridge regularly for shenanigans and over time we made it so obvious we started finding tourists up there! Regardless it's a great trail and gets very scary in points. It was originally parts of big horn sheep trail that me and my friends decided to develop more and more.
Also I know quite a few hidden gems in the Forest Falls area that would boggle your mind! Some of the locals do a great job keeping them a secret even from their own town! :D Off trail in Forest falls can yield you many different results and you can find lots of artifacts scatted among those mountains from the old mining days aswell.
Thanks for helping me get nature time in. For those who can't access it due to personal reasons. Thank you🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
You’re welcome!
So glad you have a real tent and not one of those silly tarp things !
I have several types of shelters, including a silly tarp😆
Glad to see it back up! Really enjoyed this one!
Yeah, it's just too beautiful not to share. I think I edited it down enough to conceal my route and location.
Great video had me on the edge of my chair when you crossed over the creek on that dead fall.

Nice place to getaway with some seclusion! Great video!
It's one of my favorite places in the San Bernardino mountains.
Thanks for the footage. How long was the hike from the parking lot to where you camped?
Thanks for watching, it wasn't too far, maybe 2 miles.
Nice peaceful setting I enjoyed watching this bet it wasn’t easy scooting across that log, your a trooper Hip Hip keep um coming
I do that hike like three times a week....great place
amen to the level tent spot sensitivity.
I rather spend 2 hrs levelling before I pitch on a slope
Yep, it’s no fun sliding down a hill all night.
How can you get through heavy bushes? Any tools needed?
I think this area is currently closed because of fire damage. Thanks for watching.

Thanks Mark, I hope I'm still going strong like you when I get older.
