honestly, panda express pays $20-40/hr lol. imo, with 2018 as the baseline and tracking actual inflation, $100k now is equal to $50-60k back then, after taxes and expenses.
Greedy teachers, make double the avrage city worker, they work not 8 hours a day but 5 and a half and get off during the summer with better pensions health benefits then any one boooo hooo.hoo
Both of my parents are teachers and I'll tell you right now she is 100 percent right. Teachers are underpaid right now and they have to put so much of their own money and time into it especially younger grades. So watch yourself.
@@stevenfinder22 she is talking about NYC ps teachers I know what she is talking about she makes double then any other city employees and complains 2x as much 62 a year has to be after taxes and with in her first 2 years because after 3 years it goes to 100 in NYC
Agree. 5.5 hours a day, 180 days/year minus 10 sick days, is about $67/ hr. Heat and air conditioning free. School taxes paid by old people with no kids in school!

Teachers are not greedy. They are underpaid given the significance of their work. Be grateful for the teachers that taught you!
