Can't get enough of these videos. The temp worker stood out to me the most. I am praying that God blesses her with a well-paid and fulfilling career that is aligned with her passions/ interests.

People need to keep in mind that Alexandria, VA is part of the Washington DC Metro area. Cost of living is among the highest in the nation. Modest single family homes w/3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on less than a 1/4 acre cost 500K or more depending on the zip code, proximity to DC, major commuter routes, shopping, other amenities, etc....

Lol it’s even more than 500k more like 700k going into millions especially in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax areas.

How is it the cost of living skyrocketed but incomes are not matching it. The fact the 1% own over 50% of the wealth in america and are directly imfluencing the cost of essentials like housing (by bulk buying residential homes for cash and driving up the price) should be illegal. If incomes wont increase then expense should stay low/affordable for the many.

Because old people lost the plot, got lazy and self-serving, and sold off a lot of our privileges as Americans in the 2000s & 2010s

If you don't want to be average.. don't be average! I dropped out of school in the 10th grade, went to prison for 7 years out of 10, was homeless and still started a business that made millions! I'm having a meeting in 12 hours to hopefully start another business and hopefully it makes even MORE money! Oh wait.. you don't have any money?.... GOOD NEWS for you! I started my service business in the 90's with $3.17 and went in to $12 debt. Nowadays that business can be started with $0 thanks to Facebook. The business I'm having a meeting about tomorrow will cost me the grand total of $0 to start. It has an easy potential of $5k profit a month and I will probably take it to $10k+ a month profit within a year. Or, I could have stayed at my job back in the day making $7.25 an hour, it really is YOUR choice.

This just shows the range of salaries for each occupation. I have friends who are aerospace engineers here in California who make 75k and non profit lawyers and dentist friends barely making 100k. On the opposite end, I know tax prepares who make 150k a year with little to no education. We don't know the deeper reasons why these people earn such wages. Thank you for showing us that you must know your worth and fight for what you deserve.

Why would anyone want to go to college to make 53k a year? The debt to earnings ratio is staggering. Terrible financial choice

There was another teacher from this area making 100K so there’s hope for her I guess.

@@AllAboutPurple very true someone has to, but nobody is obligated to. It's a necessary occupation that needs to be filled which means it should yield a higher gross pay

Why are people so and cynical, mean and maybe a bit jealous. Whether we make a little or a lot the purpose of this is to help others, you think an educator and artist can't make six figures in that expensive area where this episode was shot, location location. Social workers with long titles don't necessarily make a lot of money, nothing to me says these people are lying
