hello everyone! today i'm sharing 8 cute and easy to do hairstyles from japanese fashion magazines. these are all super adorable, and quick and easy to do for anyone! i did all of these styles in about 5 minutes or less. they range from intricate to simple details you can add to any every day hairstyle 😊
so i found stacks and stacks of these old fashion magazines as i was deep cleaning my room in quarantine fueled boredom. there were still crinkled bookmarks left inside marking hairstyles and outfits i always wanted to try but never got to doing. what better time to tackle things you wanted to do 6 years ago than with all this time in quarantine lol. these are just a few that i picked to share, but i'd love to do another video like this in the future. these magazines are such a gold mine for interesting styles and since they're not sold anymore, i would love to share more. thanks for watching, stay safe, stay indoors & see you guys again next week!

Mine was too. I decided to do a dumbed-down version of the Curly Girl Method because I don't have a boatload of money to spend on products, and I didn't want to spend literal hours on "wash day" either. Changes I made: 1) Stop using a shampoo with sulfate. Curly / wavy hair tends to be more on the dry side and sulfate is very stripping. 2) Stopped brushing. Yep, I haven't brushed my hair in weeks. The only time I do is occasionally in the shower, under running water, with a heavy dose of conditioner in my hair to give it slip. (Surprisingly, it looks great, and stays untangled!) This stopped a lot of breakage and damage and split ends. 3) Stopped towel-drying. I wring my hair out, blot, then scrunch the ends and let air dry. The only other thing I do is sleep with my hair in a bun, to discourage the rats' nests I used to get at the back of my head. My hair has gotten a lot softer, shinier, thicker, stronger, curlier, and less frizzy even just doing that little.

This is the biggest throwback to 17 year old me who was OBSESSED with these magazine scans but never had the hair length! After watching this and knowing i now have way longer hair i'm going to try these all out! SO pretty!

i used to do the first hairstyle a lot when i was in middle school in 2000-2003 xD i used butterfly clips around the braid knots to keep them in place instead of bobby pins!! it was my fave go-to hairstyle!! :P

I just love how cool it looks like when you have a pastel pink colored hair and there comes your roots starting to grow. Combination of pink and black is super cool for me thats why I'm gonna color my hair pastel pink before this year ends. Right now, I just finished bleaching my hair and this is my 3rd session already. Just going to let my hair rest for about 2 weeks then I'll bleach it for the last time and color it at the same time. I literally wear all those hairstyles to uni/art sdhool!! Especially the last one but with high pigtails. The simple one with small thin braids is definitely super easy! I tend to sleep in the braids so I don't have to think of a cute hairstyle the day 🍓 unfortunately my hair is too thin and I don't have a fringe/bangs to make the bubble/bobble braids look cute, but adding bandanas and tying them into a cute little bow makes it do-able 💕
