My grandfather used to beat this level repeatedly night after night. He played exactly like in this video. Watching this, I see how much of a freaking genius he had to be. I've only beat it once, after retrying about 50 times!
But it’s not, you really have to think rationally in realtime, you cannot develope a strategy because if you pause the screen, the whole screen will be blank😕
20 high is doable but the initial height of the virus stack is a huge factor. This particular game had a nice big space on the right. That room to maneuver at the beginning is crucial. You can also get in trouble late in the game if you've used too many moves and the drop speed is too fast.

I think I should record some battles against one of my brothers. We usually did player vs player with low speed and level 10 viruses. It always made crazy games. We work on killing viruses as quick as we can, and at the same time, we quickly focus on doubles all the time to overwhelm the opponent. :)

With concentration and with the knowledge about how many "clicks" are needed to put a pill into the position that we need, everything becomes much more easier. And shame on me, I don't recall having recorded us play at anytime in my life. That's why I say that it would be a good idea to do so. :)

Nice work. But I have to say this is a very lucky seed for level 20. You got only 4 virus in the top row and the left corner blue one also has another blue right underneath it. But still, great work. I probably can only beat it with medium speed.
Good job, you kinda lucked out though getting the perfectly matching pills... most my attempts end up me getting a bunch of all yellow pills when I have no yellow viruses in sight
Thank you bud! You know, I always had an easy time with NES/SNES/PS controllers, so of course I had to learn how to play at age 9, and I must tell you that it's not about how many hours of practice. Once you know a game and how it works, it's about reflexes and gaming knowledge. :)
With such a tight starting stack how could you lose? Seriously though. Your pharmacy techs would be proud of you for not leaving half pills all over. Way to keep a clean bottle.

Try 20 hard on the gameboy version. It has one less row, meaning you only have two rows above the highest virus not three.

I got to the third round of 24 before calling it a day.

The level 21 ending, if you can get to it, uses a remix of the "Tree Cinema" music but pitched higher up.
