I really like how the Gameboy version whistled when you got chain reactions. Trying to get that Mario Star music (not points) was the real motivation to try and get chain reactions in the game.
Clearly the game boy was a black & white nes and the game boy color was a portable colored nes man I miss the nes and n64 generation people today are missing out on awesome games even the fan was awesome and the ds was great to
I got down to one virus on level 20 high, but it was one of the third-row top peripheral ones you couldn't get from the top, and I accidentally put one pill one spot off below it. I just sat there agape for a minute, then decided, 'screw this, I'll just check UA-cam.' :D
My wife bought me a little retro gameboy rip off with 400 games. I thought it might be a novelty for an hour. Then I found it had Dr Mario and played it for the first time. Spent about three hours playing it today. Send help.
@@Angultra Maybe one day I will go back to the game to see if I can complete it I originally wrote that comment 2 year's ago and I have gotten a lot smarter since then and yes i'm aware Nintendo makes game remakes easier than the original
@@AngultraI went back to the game I completed level 20 on high speed mode but I couldn't complete level 21 and up for the game crash that's still way too hard for me

Apparently this game was very popular with grandmas back in the day because I know several, including my own, who used to play this all the time.
