    This is a easy tutorial on changing or replacing the spark plugs on your Chevrolet cobalt 2007. If you have never done this to your car and have over 60,000 kms on it you will notice a nice difference most time :)

    Probably best narrator for a How-To video ever. The auto shop was going to charge me $157 in labor to do this

    Excellent video. Saved me a lot of $$ and gave me the confidence to do the job myself. Always a little hesitant to undertake a project like this for the first time but your step by step instructions made it easy to understand the process. Thanks!

    You emphasize so much on the socket but not the size of socket you used....

    The back 2 thing was an instinct for me before i even knew it was an actual thing bc i did it all the time with lids

    • @ralphborroel5684
      @ralphborroel5684 2 роки тому

      There's no need for a "back 2 turns". That's only for the Novice Mechs.

    Good video but where’s the anti-seize for the threads? That’s the most important part.

      He mentions dialectric grease and conductive grease and some sort of stuff for the threads but never shows any of those things... What kind, how much, where to apply?

    • @ghostlyrich
      @ghostlyrich  4 роки тому +2

      The dialectic grease you just spread a line down the threads, as you screw it in it will spread this keeps the plug from coroding and seizing in the block

      As in super tight?? If so could try some penetration fluid down each of the plugs will hopefully help eat some of the corrosion. Are the spark plug top ends covered in rust??
