I wish more parents would leave their tiny ones behind, the last time we were there I felt like I was in Frogger, trying to avoid getting run over by strollers.
The fact that you have to queue early morning for the possibility of going is probably the biggest reason I never do these. Parks generally have gotten so insanely overcrowded
Disney is too awfully expensive nowadays. Season pass with the parking pass is north of 1200 for 1 I think, absolutely ridiculous, the food, drinks inside is ridiculous too, and the wait for each line is awfully long. That 3 day socal pass did that as well, we did 2 days in the main park, and 1 day in CA adventure, couldn't even do half of it with the full days time. Can't imagine someone with kids doing half of what we did, rushing from ride to ride.
I’m surprised the wait is still so long even with boarding groups. That’s probably the main complaint I’ve been hearing. Hopefully that’s fixed when we go next month. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for the videos on San Luis Obispo & cambria. I checked out the gum wall and scout coffee. If you ever get the chance white water inn in cambria is a nice place to stay at.
Awesome day you guys! Don’t forgot, you need to use all 3 days of your tickets before September 30th (I have the same ones!). Also, might I suggest using single rider next time you go, esp for Racers! The most you’ll wait is about 30 min and most of the time, my boyfriend and I end up in the same car anyways (different rows). I never wait in the standby queue because it never gets lower than 50 min
Hi, which Ticket did you bought to visit the avenger campus. Is the Disney California Adventure Park Ticket enough? Or do we need the "Hopper" Ticket? Best wishes from Germany :)
Watched other channels that feature the spiderman display. You sure thats an animatronic? The movements and poses seamed to organic and the 3 shows I watched were different movements. Same routine. Maybe the arm mooved differently. Or the flip was rotated at a different angle. I can see the flying spidey being a bot for legal reasons.
When we go to cars, my wife and I always go single rider line, never wait more that 20 mins to get on. Ahh man nearly 2 years now since I was last allowed to fly,, stupid covid
I was thinking of taking my son to avengers campus, but I guess since it's rampant with adults he'll have to wait until maybe forever... What a tragedy
Great video Josh! Avengers Campus looks awesome. We just booked tickets to go for 3 days while I’m in LA on business in a few weeks; haven’t been to DL since 2018 so can not wait. Gutted World Of Colour still isn’t back tho, and I wish we were CA residents for those discounted tickets too!!
Just was there yesterday as a Marvel fan extremely disappointed of the amount of stuff to do there was. Hopefully more will be added to do. The ride sadly felt like an arcade game I could play at home. Kids will love it though as long as they’re bought stuff, without buying the stuff there they will be bored especially with the 1.5 hours of waiting you have to do while in line for the ride even with the boating groups.
Looks like a lot of fun! Do you have to make reservations to see avengers campus or could you show up and get a time? Also - what day of the week was this? Really love watching your videos, thanks for the great content!
Spectacular video you guys 🙂👍😀😃🐱😺😊☺😁🙃👍😉👍 i haven't been here since i was a toddler and the first time i went there was with my mom and dad but i want to go here again because i love watching the marvel movie plus my favorites are spider man and iron man 👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Yea webslinger overhyped. You pay more attention to shooting webs than enjoying the ride but the ride just moves you to another screen to shoot more webs Skip the Test kitchen next time and just get the chicken shawarma @ shawarma palace
🥱 I'd rather spend time at Main Street, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, or New Orleans Square than Galaxy's Edge or Avenger's Campus (especially). Even Tomorrowland, which has needed real help for decades now, is more of a draw. At least it has Space Mountain. The campus feels more like a glorified meet and greet with an ugly reskinned tower and a cheap arcade simulator tacked on.
I love that we've now reached the generation of parents that leave their kids at home so they can go to Disneyland!
haha I think we will do a trip with them pretty soon haha but yea it's a lot more fun without one year old twins at the moment
I wish more parents would leave their tiny ones behind, the last time we were there I felt like I was in Frogger, trying to avoid getting run over by strollers.
Yeah because there's nothing there for kids anymore
Now I can only think of Defunctland's mini documentary film on Disney's Fastpass when you talked about the long line even with the queuing system😬
The fact that you have to queue early morning for the possibility of going is probably the biggest reason I never do these. Parks generally have gotten so insanely overcrowded

I agree that the lines make it tough. I was hoping to go on more rides than we were able to on this day as well haha.
So 11 months later, it’s still a big disappointment. Right now I still liked bugs life area better.
I’m surprised the wait is still so long even with boarding groups. That’s probably the main complaint I’ve been hearing. Hopefully that’s fixed when we go next month. Thanks for the video!
Just went yesterday with the boarding pass from start of line to end took around 1.5 hours and was only around a 2 minute ride if that.
Avengers Campus looks so lame lol
Yeah it does
Plus it rubbed out a childhood memory of mine
That being a bugs land
One thing you missed is the Incredicoaster, former California Screamin'.
I was hoping to do that one, but the line was too long. Next time!
@@californiathroughmylens what about single rider line?
A lot of people r complaining saying webslingers is like toy story . They could've done much more
Yea, I was expecting it to be more exciting but it was pretty fun if the line wasn't so long
And it replaced a childhood memory of mine
Which was a bugs land
Thank you for the videos on San Luis Obispo & cambria. I checked out the gum wall and scout coffee. If you ever get the chance white water inn in cambria is a nice place to stay at.
No problem! I love Scout Coffee, I am glad it is still doing well! Thanks for the tip on White Water Inn as well.

Good reminder! Thanks for the tip on single rider, I will have to do that next time as I love Radiator Springs Racers!
@@californiathroughmylens yes, i did single rider for Cars and was on the ride in 12 minutes. Also, do that ride first thing in the morning

How fun!? I can't wait to see how it will look during the holidays! :)

I want to take my kids but goodness it’s expensive!
I agree it is really expensive!
Can people other city come to Disneyland?
🤔 Guess the characters of the Avengers by emoji - ua-cam.com/video/GkB1h8hvFgA/v-deo.html
Thanks for the video it was Awesome
No problem! Thanks for the comment

3:52 Ghirardelli is pronounced Guirardelli
You gotta do single rider for most things if you want to ride as many rides as possible with Fastpass gone right now.
When was this, with no mask?
This was a few weeks ago but I think they just changed to masks indoors, not 100% sure
I was thinking of taking my son to avengers campus, but I guess since it's rampant with adults he'll have to wait until maybe forever... What a tragedy
Idk I have no patience with most things but for stuff like this it's a lot more manageable cause there's a build up of anticipation 😅
Wow! Didn’t realize one needs to wait for so long to get to the rides. I wish Disneyland figured out a way around the queue.
Food inside always sucked, and it's not easy to get out of thr park and eat like it is in Knotts.
Thanks for sharing! We’re going in about a month. I wonder how the reinstated mask policy will impact attendance.
Yea, I am not sure. I think it is only inside though?

You show up and get a time but trust not worth it. Unless you have little ones, felt like a super long wait for a 2 minute arcade game.

I wanted to take the family to Disney, but couldn't agree on the 3 or 5 year payment plan!
For food lobster nachos at the cove bar, Mickey or Minnie pants sundaes at Clarabelles, Chile con queso at cozy cone motel.
Sweet! Thanks for the tips!
Yup Lamplight Lounge has delicious food & drinks 😋
Even though I always enjoyed Disneyland my fondest memories are of Knotts. I miss the defunct Coaster Run 5k/10k that went through Knotts also.
Always blown away by the video quality!!! 8K?
haha I wish, just 4k!
We are going in November! Can't wait
I went on July 9th
That’s my birthday
You missed the mickeys silly swings, goofy sky school, and Mickey wheel death. They may seem simple they so much fun
I miss the tower of terror; but I actually haven't been on the new ride.
Tower of Terror was great too, but I love Guardians!
Well don’t it’s a cash grabber
I got dizzy on the Grizzly ride. Stupid thing kept spinning round and round 🤢
They have a lot more rides than I remember, haven't been to Disney in years.
Does the new spider ride have a onesie line?
Smart move, we do the rapids first just in case we get wet
100% Grizzly Peak and Grizzly Peak Airfield are the best themed lands, love the 1950-1960s US National Parks looks.
It is pretty cool to see that waterfall right in the middle of the park!
So lucky 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌😝😝😊
Aww I wanna go!
Well I don’t
@@skunkman9815 Then don't go and no one asked
You need to hook up with the Freshbaked or the Ordinary Adventures couple for your Disneyland hook ups.
Great idea, I will have to check those channels out!
Nicely done. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video Sir!!!
👍😍
Why no masks?

Awesome after covid I bet everything is full
There were a lot more people then I expected haha
If Amy doesnt pop you one for the record catch comment LOL
haha! 😂
You’re a professional gamer?
haha no, I am not, I play video games every so often but I guess my wife thinks I am a pro haha!
Pretty sure Amie enjoyed herself, not a hint of stress.
haha stress free day without the kids
@@californiathroughmylens that's what i was thinking.
Awesome!! I'm in UT, hiking and yiur in Disneyland!
I am pretty jealous you are hiking in Utah
LOL I would love to go but I'm way too old to be waiting on line anymore :D
haha I agree that waiting in line is not as fun as it used to be haha
Well i refused to go, this place killed a bugs land
no wayyyyyy i really want to go
Spiderman was an animtronic the entire time? Or was it a live actor until the cool flip jump thing?
Yep, live actor until the flip!
