Love it Chaz and yep, long overdue. I do remember having a cheeky bet with my son Lucas a while back that a Dumerils would be in your top five... Guess I owe him a tenner! lol
I produced 2 c. paulsoni litters this past season. 1 litter was a breeze and started feeding on anoles with no issues. The other litter is a complete nightmare and I'm still tube feeding most of them. They're still a favorite of mine. I've got over 30 individuals and only 2 are LTC imports. The rest are CBB. Nothing else quite like them. I've also got a group of chilabothrus inornatus. Really active and bit of an attitude, but really easy to get babies established.
Hey I've noticed you comment a lot on Paulsoni. I need your help. I have a stubborn female that won't eat anything. Not even lizards or frogs. Her temps are 84° hot spot and rest is room temp at 76. She is in a 20 gal size tub on coco fiber and wood chip mix and half is moist with waterbowl and half is dry. In an area that is no traffic. I got her from dm exotics. Any ideas to get her to feed? I have done assist feeding a small mouse and after 20 attempts she'll eventually take it but I'm afraid that is too stressful for her. My Australis are no problem and eat better than kingsnakes. This Paulsoni is really testing me. Please any help.
@@dillardc81 How long exactly, it's been roughly around 10 months. She still has very good bodyweight and drinks. I've tried live mice but they spook her and I don't want to leave live mice with her. Chicks had no effect on her either. Maybe she is just fasting? I will try some western fence lizards I caught tonight, maybe she will take them. Willing to do anything to get a meal in her.
Good vid. Should do too 5 monitors next My top 5: 5. Madagascar tree boa 4. Amazon tree boa 3. Suriname red tail 2. Peruvian long tail 1. Got to agree with you on the emerald. One day, one day
Thanks for a great video! I was really chuffed at your top two: I have an adult female amarali, she was my first snake as an adult, and she's wonderful in every way. And I had an emerald tree boa when I was fifteen: never had any problems with her, she was utterly beautiful. I think she might have been a Brazilian one - that was way back, in the early 1970s.
More top 5’s!
I'd love a Jamaican boa
Love your Videos! Can you do an indepth video about Batesii?
Great video! So since you've reinstated the Top 5, how about a Top Reptile Books Reloaded (being obnoxious here 😉).

Love these top fives!

@@Matthew-cd8iv I wouldn't assist feed. Have you tried feeding chicks? They can go a super long time without eating. Have you tried live mice as well?

@@dillardc81 Hasn't taken a lizard either. Really? Over a year. Maybe I'm worried for nothing.

Hoping you'll get more common bci boa babies in stock and Iran jaya babies this summer Chaz!👍👍
I know this is out of context but is it good for a Florida Kingsnake to be 2ft at 5 1/2 month of age? Anyways Good Video as always.👍
Glad to see you back. No dumerils 😞 Cheers
Love rosy boa's. Cant wait to get mine. Great video
Been awhile. Still wicked.
A short tailed boa is my dream snake. All your videos are so informative, they have helped me a lot. Thanks for this.
Ha! Watched this with my rosy boa. Emerald tree boas really are a dream
