    I have such an issue with the raw chicken going into the sauce even though it gets cooked in the oven still weird to me

      I think I would brown it before putting it into the sauce, just in case.

      If you bother to read the recipe you simmer the chicken in the sauce for 15 minutes first.

      Well, she had to fast forward through the segment, you wouldn't really leave the flour or chicken uncooked.

      They said like a rue its to thicken it up... Could use oat flour its not gumbo.
