Dukes are great bikes. I had a 640 Duke for a while in 2001 and a 390 Duke in 2017. One of the first videos that started this channel 🤣 I made a quick video before the guy came to buy it due to me buying a KLR 650… which was sold in less than 30 days for my 690 Enduro because it was so low performance.

guess what I am not going to sell… the 690? I’ve got a 701 and a 350 but covet a 500, don’t think it makes sense to have them all…
I’d do the 701 if the 690 is the newer bodywork. The 690 has better bodywork than the 701 and more accessories etc.. but if your 690 is 18 or older, the 701 will have the counter balanced engine.
I’d probably sell the 350 next, unless I was XC racing it. The 500 has a little more of a Swiss army knife aspect than the 350.

I was guessing you’re going to sell the 690, because of my own considerations on the same problem. Which is I’ve got very recent 350 and 701, and would like a 500, what is it going to give? Doesn’t make much sense to keep them all, imv. What have you decided for yourself?
My 250XC-F, 250 EXC-F, Freeride E-XC probably.
Keeping the 690 (Long distance unicorn) and the 450 EXC-F, which I originally had buyers remorse over… but got running and working really well now and love!
350s are super rad. They feel real flicky compared to their bigger brothers, but once you appreciate the grunt of the bigger ones it’s hard not to be in love. I rode them for a few minutes back to back 2 weeks ago. I seriously considered another 350 because they’re quite a bit more power than the 250s and we are at high elevation most of the time. New 450 pulls the front wheel roll on at nearly any throttle opening 1st-3rd, and still easily in 4th with a clutch-up. Kind of fell in love with that 🤣
