I am not sure about that. VR has issues still that bug me but the overall experience is amazing. I hate that so much gets left out while in VR. VR strips objects to maintain frame rate.
@@FlightSimVRDad Hopefully a fix is in the pipeline then. I've recently found OpenXR and seen the incredible performances boost it offers. I'm currently fettling it however yesterday I got it to a point where I was absolutely amazed at how clear the cockpit etc was with my old Rift S. Hopefully upgrading my processor this week.
@@JonJon-dk3nh I also use mixed reality portal as well. TrackIR 5 is a great tool I use when VR is not practical to use. At around $160 on Amazon it was an easy decision buy. I am glad I bought it. I can get the object density I want in really dense scenery that VR strips out. I run on a 3080 GPU and i7-12700KF CPU with 48 GB RAM. Thanks again for watching and piping in. 👍
@@FlightSimVRDad I did look at those Track IR devices before VR, they look good. Cool that's a nice PC you have. I was 100% happy sim racing in VR with my Ryzen 5 3600 & RTX 2060 Super, then I got MSFS and that all went out the window, and I've been chasing more and more MSFS VR graphics & performance ever since.
@@JonJon-dk3nh With your system you would see a big performance boost with TrackIR. I go VR now in open country and over water. Flying low over cities and into large airports causes me issues in VR even though the VR system lowers the scenery complexity.
Thanks for watching and that is a great question. The nametags you see are a result of having multiplayer turned on. Now the landing analyzer I use is a widget included in the Flow Pro app from Parallel 42. parallel42.com/products/flow-pro It is a great app and I also use the weather widget in case the weather changes in flight. Thanks again!

Flight Sim Dad, great video and instruction. Wanted to ask about the landing rate notification you received on landing. Is that an addon or something within the sim?
Good video
Thanks!
I wonder if we can turn off the grey box labels which show us what the switch we're hovering over does. In VR inn gets in the way.

How do you have everyone's nametag like that? and what Landing analyzer do you use?
