Did you have issues with detent ball holding the socket? My cousin had one and he returned it cause it was not holding the socket. Something with the detent ball/pin not being strong enough.
I have owned this for 2 years now and it is still holding up. I repair appliances for a living and I'm also a backyard mechanic so it gets lots of abuse.
I have the short and long reach. The short one broke by the in-law trying to break loose gear box bolt. As others have commented only a wrist saver unless it’s Manet 30 for tight bolt or lower. The customer service sent a replacement in 3 days after contacting them. They told me to keep the broken one. The replacement head was 16.00 on Walmart web sight. For me the ratchets are great. Good customer service. Nice work.
A tool professional and you don’t know you CAN use it manually to break the bolt loose THEN use the cordless ratchet. These things are NOT made to break bolts loose. Do so manually and then save your wrist. You won’t break it by using it the way it was designed…they ALL look like that. They all work the same basic way.
I bought this, and within the first minute it broke when I moved the directional switch to reverse. After that it could not be changed back to forward (clockwise). I ordered a replacement from Amazon and this one works fine. So time will tell if it holds up.
Obviously the Milwaukee is an old wrench. Over time the trigger bends through use. Take a look at the new one it is straight. just take the Milwaukee trigger off and straighten it.

good luck
Has it held up
I don't know why but I'm a off brand train right now trying to see what's out there other than the name brands.
If you use wood and metal for the bolt can you see if it makes a difference from plate metal at 40lbs torque to wood as well just curious
