- In this video, I'm going to tell you the story of how I spent all of my money on my first offshore boat. It was a crazy decision, but it was also one of the best decisions I ever made.
I've always been passionate about boating, and I've always wanted to own an offshore boat. I've always known i'd get one and beyond! I came across a great deal on a used boat. It was a little bit older, but it was exactly what i had hoped for. And it was the perfect size for me.
I knew that buying this boat would mean spending all of my money. But I didn't care. I was so excited to finally own my own offshore boat.
I've had this boat for a few years now, and it's been the best decision I ever made. soon you and i will take it on some amazing adventures, and make some great memories.
If you're thinking about buying an offshore boat, I say go for it! It's a great investment, and it's a lot of fun.

I so enjoyed listening to your story about finding your boat. This alone will pull you in and make it your own. I have a cousin plus a wife who completed the restoration and then sailed off to the Bahamas. The best vacation so far for them in their life; Then my step sister and husband found a boat, restored it and are taking theirs to the islands in the south. We all come from Canada which probably explains the need to go south!

The Formula 233 is one of the most sought after hulls. I have rebuilt one from just the hull and cap only. we refit the hull to a center console all Coosa stringers transom and floor. enclosed the transom cap with live well and refab the cap. such a great hull if done correctly. After all said and done I had 65k into the rebuild. IF you have questions about the hull and rebuild feel free

@@TheYachtsman make sure you go through the hull top to bottom before putting money to get it on the water. check the stringers. check the deck the transom. no sense in putting her on the water if you have to rebuild the deck or stringers. you will end up having to take everything off and it just waste time and money. Theres a lot of guys that post videos of the 233 rebuilds on youtube you can watch and see what they have done. hope this helps. Are you in Florida ?

Thats a huge project man.That takes some courage to take on but it's absolutely doable if you love the boat and are willing to work hard on it. You can do it !!!
It's deff a lot chew . but i figure all we have to do is just keep knocking off tasks and steps on the list and we will get there. Life just keeps on happing so we might have to make some adjustments here and there but we are "AT IT MY BROTHA!"
I have 1978 formula center console with twin 200 suzukis. My wife usually holds on forndear lif on other boats, but on ours, shes at ease. Rides real nice. Good luck with it.

That's the kinda stuff i like to here. I'll never lie to you amigo. now a tale might get a lil tall but ill never lie to you lol on the flip side ill never force to prove either. i'm happy your spirits were lifted ill keep you in mind while deciding details. what other specifications on the boat would you like to know? ill work a few in to a video . maybe some shorts or something.
My dad hads a boat we had to totally rebuild before we could use it... Hd some of my fondest memories with the old guy on that boat.

Boats can be an expensive hobby. As long as you give her your time to work on and maintenance she will be worth it. You can't buy memories and this boat will bring many more to come. You live once, go get them offshore fishes

JUST TO GET it on THE WATER??? Is there any more worthy a goal? In this life. in this world of ours their are a lot of things to burn our time and resources on. there are a lot of things to focus on ,move to, but nothing so sweet and full filling as a dream. Ill have it. it may not look the way the rest of the world thinks it should look but ill have it . When its all said and done all of you EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU WILL HAVE THE BLUE PRINT TO GET TO DREAMS OF YOUR OWN.
