Can you recommend some mattresses similar to this one but without the melting memory foam feel? Maybe some with polyfoam on top instead of memory foam? The Tuft and Needle seems pretty close but is much more expensive.
I need something soft on the top but very supportive on the bottom. I'm a combo sleeper who tosses between all positions, especially my side and back. I have the same body type and weight about 160-170lbs. Do you think this Mattress would be too firm for me? I was in the store today and tested some beds. I really liked the Sealy Kelburn II Hybrid and the Sealy Chill Plush Hybrid. I absolutely HATED the tempurpedic mattresses, even the Hybrid. Tempurpedic was hard as a rock.
I just bought this and am coming from a 20 year old coil mattress. Even the slight pressure points from being a little bit heavier, I think this is gonna be a great transition into the memory foam world.
I'm 5'8 170lb. I sleep on my sides 65% on my back 20% on my stomach 15% of the time. Do you guys recommend this mattress? Or in the 3 years that you guys made this is there something definitely better value? Able to get it on amazon for $330.
All this is so confusing. I weigh 240 and we have a memory foam mattress and I’m tired of it. Want a hybrid and Amazon has the Linenspa 12 Inch Memory Hybrid and seems to have a lot of reviews. I need a bed to support me and something that doesn’t make you sweat. Any advice? I was even looking at the puffy but I’m not sure I can do $1800 plus tax right now. We have a king bed.
So I have an Amazon gift card that I’m thinking of using for a new mattress. In your opinion what would be the best mattress available on Amazon for a side sleeping couple that each weigh 165 and 145 lbs? The Lucid mattresses have the most reviews and seem to be the most popular.
I just got mine a week ago and love it, I'm female 130 lbs 5' 7'' and a side sleeper, it' has just the right amount of give and support, I put a bamboo light loft mattress cover on it also from /amazon, the brand is Marquess, absolutely amazing cover no need for a fitted sheet it's washable and so soft. I hope the mattress lasts a long time.
@@robinweidner2402 Well, I have had mine for 9 months now and it out lasts the very expensive one I bought, with a nice latex topper it beats all others and still was under 600.00.
I'm a 40 year old 250lb male. I work at a restaurant and I'm on my feet anywhere from 10 to 17 hours a day therefore I have quite a bit of aches and pains and some slight arthritis as well as back issues including sciatica. I sleep on my stomach and side. I've never been able to fall asleep on my back (god only knows why). So what would you recommend? I'm hoping to avoid latex for allergy reasons. I'm also hoping for under $700 but amazon usually offers payment plans so that's a plus. Maybe even find one that will allow me to fall asleep on my back lol. I'm new to memory foam aside from a pillow that I have. Oh and I dont want much body heat if that is still an issue.
I'm 18, 6 foot 3, and weigh 330 pounds. I've only slept on this mattress for a week now and purchased it because the spring mattress at the university I'm attending is horrible. I immediately noticed a difference. I don't know the difference between this mattress and a higher end one, but if you are on a low budget, I recommend buying this one, if this is all you can afford. If it isn't, then I recommend buying the Purple, Tuft and Needle, or Nectar mattress.
@@ryanencher3669 eh, not ur fault, but ur comment is too late. I bought not too long after I made this comment. So far so good with the mattress tho... Thanks for the help anyways
First, I would like to say your videos are a very well done and informaitve. I am 6’0” 235 so I like that you have Marten’s perspective as well. That said would I be better off with the 10 or 12 hybrid model? I think there is also a choice of Latex vs Memory foam. This is right about where I want to be price point wise. I am mostly a side and back sleeper I would say more side and do not sleep with a partner. I definately run warm so something that has good air movement and will keep me cool is important. I would be willing to spend more up to $800 if there is another mattress that would be a better fit. Something with a sleep trial and decent warranty is also important. Keep up the great work and service you provide. I have subscribed to your page.

I have the 12 inch adjustable model, and I absolutely LOVE it! My back use to hurt alot, but not anymore. I'm a heavier back sleeper btw
Where did you guys get this bed?? It’s not on Amazon they only have the 12 inch model :(

Fantastic review. First person I have seen that uses the pressure mat. Awesome! Thanks for the clarity :)
What's a transition layer? 1:15
Is it true about the fiber glass cover?

i want a lucid but its sold out on amazon for twin xl
Did it have a weird smell?
Is this or nectar better for side sleepers?
I'm 5'10" 220lbs, sleep on my stomach, and on a budget. Should this mattress be a yay or nay for me? thanks
bc of your weight and stomach sleeping preference, I think this mattress may not be supportive enough for you

@@justinsimmons1738 do you like it?
Is it true it has glass fiber cover?
I’m wondering the same thing!
Yes as do many other mattresses as it's the fire retardant layer, it's not meant to be opened or messed with.
