Of course, he is THE KING. Take down a tank with a sword and a hand-grenade? Done. XD
King Bradley's body has been transformed into a super body due to the Philosopher's Stone constantly destroying and reconstructing his body when he was injected with it. Due to this he gained a superhuman body like that of Captain America, with superhuman reflexes, strength, stamina, endurance, instincts, reaction speed and thinking speed. To top it off, he has trained his swordsmanship to the pinnacle, as can be seen with him slashing through the tracks of the tank and also leaving a deep slash mark on a concrete wall. Then to make things even more unfair, he has the Ultimate Eye, which is essentially like a basic Sharingan from Naruto. The eye enables him to see everything down to the minute detail, even acting as a secondary brain to help him process vast amounts of information in a mere instant. Things like distance, wind direction, wind speed, quantity of enemies are all information he can see in a glance. Some say the eye even give him 360 degrees vision like that of a Byakugan. This gives him the ability to anticipate and predict the enemies' movements even before they happen.
As terrifying as Pride is Wrath is probably the most threatening. If Wrath was in his prime he would have taken down this entire uprising by himself with no problems.
The author said herself that if he was in his prime they wouldve lost so yeah
he just deflect all bullets like a master jedi so ofcourse he over the top
Bradley interrupting the Briggs soldier's celebrations has to be one of the top 5 funny moments on the show 😂

To this day, Bradley remains one of my favorite anime villains. He is the perfect mirror of General Olivier, completely committed to his duty and sense of honor, and he loathes weakness. Likewise he and General Armstrong are unwavering in their mission and purpose. Whereas Olivier led the soldiers of Briggs to be willing to sacrifice themselves for the good of the nation, Bradley led the nation's leadership to be willing to sacrifice the very nation for the whims of Father. Bradley possesses all the character traits that make Olivier such a strong and amazing character, except he's the tip of the spear pointed at the civilian populace while Armstrong is the shield. He demands the kind of respect you'd give to a venomous snake that crawled under your covers while you're in bed.
I just love the moment where Hoenheim reveals to father that he has been talking to all the souls, and not only that, but knows them all by name. It really shows the difference between Father and Hoenheim, because Father refuses to see the souls in the stone as human -- he only sees them as energy.
They already did explain where the Dwarf in the Flask came from, back in the original flashback. Hohenheim's alchemy teacher (his slave owner, at that time) made it from a sample of Hohenheim's blood.
ohhh yeah, i want to know more about how it happened though, like was it only made from just his blood? how did the whole creation go down? what methods did he use, etc
@@AlanaMisako I take it that you are asking - if the dwarf in the flask was responsible for creating alchemy and alcahestry, then what and how were xerxes alchemist able to make the dwarf from blood samples. Clearly they didn't know alchemy but something else, otherwise they wouldn't be so oblivious that everything had to be taken as world of mouth from the dwarfy. I beleive the hint to this is in the last episode.
@@SoraToshiAki The DITF didn't create either system. He has nothing at all to do with alkahestry, and I'll avoid mentioning the exact nature of his involvement with alchemy since that's an actual spoiler, but suffice to say that it does in fact predate him.

Bradley coming in like a boss while still being chill just shows how badass he is.
King Bradley's entrance is one of the best moments in anime (in my opinion). SO bad-ass! So chill. And those lines. Best villain ever!
I love how Bradley enter to the castle but i love even more how easy is to Ling and Greed to switch places, that tells how much on synch they are, they're perfect for each other👌

And god DAMN King Bradley. You WANT to hate him because what he did. I know you have watched the whole series Alana, did you think he got the punishment he deserved? Question is open to other viewers too
i think he got what he deserved - he died surrounded by people who despise him. scar, a person who may very well be the one most affected by wrath's actions, wore him down in his final moments which i think is fitting!
Cannot wait to watch til the end of the series with you. Great premise, story and teaching. About to burst in tears once again once the last line drops😅🥺

One line I'm sad is different in the sub, because the riff they include in the dub is great - when the old man saves greed: "thanks for saving my ass" "I wasn't saving you, I was saving the young master's body" "well, it's the same ass"
The common theme of people giving up their arm for those they love hits hard. Scar and his brother, Ed and Al, Lan Fan and Ling. Even Hohenheim and the Dwarf have a relationship of sacrifice between each other. I've yet to find a show better then this in terms of raw writing. Love the reactions!
Bro I swear I needed the Armstrongs and Curtis duo hang out shot during the epilogue for this show. They're so dope together and it would be the best to know they're out there going out for brunch or something after this. Even if they only get to meet up every year or two since they all live in whole different regions.
I fear Wrath more than any of the homunculi. His intelligence, ability to read your moves with his Ultimate Eye, his unmatched combat ability and of course, he’s Wrath, so his relentless fury of attacks. Pure bloodlust. Oh and the fact that he’s human too, hard to outsmart someone who can think like you
If you’re in an FMAB slump, you can check out the mangaka’s new manga “Yomi no Tsugai” it has a pretty good storyline and characters so far. It has 5 chapters and the main character looks a lot like Hawkeye with shorthair. It’s funny because this is her return with a new manga years after ending FMAB and the artstyle’s still the same.

One small problem with Brotherhood is that this Bromance was largely skipped, they met earlier during the Dublith arc and had a muscle-off that ended with them shaking hands in brotherhood (no pun intended), so when Sig showed up again here to help against Sloth Alex's strength was REINVIGORATED WITH THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!
They did well with the scene, it's just sad we were denied the start of this beautiful bromance.

It’s funny that Olivia asks if Izumi is a martial artists, in an OVA it shows that Olivia had martial arts training while trying to become an alchemist.
Although she didn’t realize it at the time.

I've been watching these reactions since you started them but I rarely comment (sorry :c i'm a little shy here on yt), and I've always liked your theories and thoughts about the anime, but this moment ( 14:23 ) really surprised me. I have seen *a lot* (trust me, A LOT) of reactions to FMAB and I don't recall *anyone* remembering that moment of Hohenheim and connecting it to the one with the Father here, at least not while watching the episode, maybe in the discussion, but I really don't recall anyone mentioning that. I'm really impresed. That's one of the things I like a lot about your reactions: you are so invested in the plot and the characters that you are very aware of little details and you remember a lot of them (yeah, you sometimes don't remember things and make mistakes, but who doesn't? besides, you are not binge watching this, so it's more difficult to remember), and with an anime like this, that has SO many characters and SO many subplots and SO many details, that's really really appreciated when watching reactions videos. So thank you for being so invested in this and sharing your thoughts :)
Oh, and I *love* your excitement when Greed showed up xd you are so cute when you get excited xd Greed and Ling are my fav characters too :3
PS: Also, I enjoyed your Death Note reactions a lot because of the same reasons I enjoy these reactions. It's a shame that you were so criticized and discouraged that you had to stop, some ppl are jerks most of the time. Wrath is faster than gunshots. Mustang probably would have no chance with his flame alchemy against him. Wrath already sat with Al, Ed, and Mustang and was sipping tea besides them as they contemplated attacking him all at once. Lust and Envy might be a little faster than an average human. And there's more to come, where Mustang is pinned down by Wrath to open the portal. I'm sure you've seen that by now.

My understanding is that the alchemy master in Xerxes used Hohenheims blood as a receptacle for a piece of the eye inside the Gate of Truth. I am unaware of any answer as to how this was done. Fathers goal is to reconnect with the rest of itself without sacrificing its individuality or freedom.
I have a huge competency kink and when Bradley made his entrance in episode 56 and showcased everything he was built up to be, I just lost it. Hell, every character in this show makes me go gaga because of how competent they are

Ah but Bradley's voice in the dub is SO epic and so commanding. I kind of can't stand his "weaker" sounding Jp voice because it doesn't hit the same.
