Since I have a very small garden, I'm very selecyive about what to grow. I think it would be fun this year to grow a huge herb garden. I've always used grow bags and green stalks with my bed of 3 tiny tiny rows. Deer eat almost everything but they usually leave the herbs alone. Making a tone of blends like you have done would be wonderful and especially to make homegrown gifts. Thanks for the inspiration for a fun new year ahead.
I had fun growing lots of herbs this year. I usually only grow a few different kinds, and I made it a point this year to grow more. It was definitely worth it. I also think it would make really great gifts!!
So glad I came across this channel! We are selling the sailboat we live on to build on our small 1/4 acre lot a small house with a large garden. I have been creating a list of all I would like to plant, but your pepper selection and basil selections have me inspired! Thanks from a new subscriber!
These seasoning mixes look amazing! I am always looking for ideas since i am allergic to onions and can not usually bye pre made mixes. Thank you for all these wonderful new ideas!
@@thisjerseygirlshome great idea!! I recently made some homemade ranch seasoning mix and now I know why everyone likes ranch dressing so much! I could never get the store bought due to my onion allergy. I have been getting into making my own blends this year.
Thanks for sharing. I’m always looking for new ideas. I have to ask. You made a point of saying iodized salt. I only have redmonds . Any reason to use iodized that I don’t know?
Redmonds is a great salt, I would definitely use that if you can. I know for us iodized salt is how we get most of our iodine supply, so I'm just mixing things up. But I have heard Redmonds has lots of minerals and nutrients within it, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Great ideas, thanks! I would assume the potency is different for freeze dried versus dehydrated herbs....Can you taste a difference since you just did it the same across the board? I would assume you would need to change it? I am still new to this freeze dried stuff LOL
#holidaygifts #diygifts #homemadegifts -These would make excellent gifts!!

Thank you! You can really play around with these. You could even dehydrate celery and blend that up, to use as a seasoning.

Thank you! I do not have a recipe for head country championship seasoning.
What do you use some of these seasonings on I never heard of some of them
I'm not sure if there is one your thinking of in particular, but we season chicken, meat, rice, and lots of vegetables with it.
