That’s an awesome upgrade!!! It’s cool that these parts are transferable from new to old. Your truck should stop hella better now. Great video bud. 🫶🏻🫡
Thanks for the reply!! Time to jump on the band wagon! LOL
Did the same thing on my 2012 Tahoe but used 6 piston Brembos off a 2021 Police Tahoe. 16.1" rotor.
@@nickcagle145 Nice! 💪
Where you get the calipers
@lichiyns4403 RockAuto
Also crazydayz fav what u going to do with your old calipers from front?

Bad ass thanks.. I already did the front and wanna upgrade the back now..
Nice upgrade!
I assuming this would also work the same on a 99-02, 00 specifically? I’ve been thinking about moving to dual pistons in the rear. Cool truck
Thanks, I dont see why it wouldn’t.
Heard someone in another channel that it doesn't lock up the brakes when you slam on the brakes. Do you see that issue? Thanks
@@Pooh_Racing I don’t have this issue, they work great, I even tow quite often.
what front control arms are you running?
Clean Concepts
Any update on this mod? did you have to upgrade your master cylinder to compensate for the 6 additional pistons?
@@1LElife works great! I already did the hydroboost swap years ago when I bagged and bodydropped the truck.
How much was it for everything?
Depends on where you get it from. I used rockauto.
@CrazydayzFab so how much?
this mod can be done for under $500 if you shop around for the calipers and rotors
I would have to think. The longevity of the thicker rotor and pad and caliper must outweigh the stock. Why not price out an all around stock replacement and weight the opinions. Pay a little bit more one time and upgrade. And all you have to do is buy some cheap pads that would outlast your stock and make it easier to chamber yourself
The big brake upgrade is the way to go for sure
Once again great work brother that's bad ass I have a shock up front too with air bag too what airbag kit are you running and what drop in the rear u should make a video and show which parts u bought plus what u made to bag your Sik ass truck wish u were closer bro them front control arms look good how do they ride bro and what's all done to rear? Thanks for all your help and advice I'm going to bady 2006 Chevy Silverado regular cab as well and I need some good great products like your truck what would u recommend for my single cab truck bro thanks
Did you have to change the brake fluid to dot4 or left it the same
@@gabrielcardenas6235 I used the stuff that works with both.
Are the rears also from a 2020?
Do you have hydro boost. I just did the 4 piston front on my 03 sierra but i still have 1 piston rears.
Yes I swapped to hydroboost a years ago.
Does all the new 2020 and newer trucks come with these as factory brakes?Or is it a high country option or some up grade.
It’s an upgraded option. Not all have the 4 piston.
My 2023 custom has these brakes
Would the ss rears work for a 2005 Yukon Denali?
@@trevaughnyankannah9643 if you have disc brakes already.
What size are the washers
Does it brake better? Because if you have more pistons and youre using the same master theres not enough pressure for what bigger brakes need. Just wondering if this was the case?
Yes they work a lot better. I already swapped to a hydroboost system a few years back.
@@CrazydayzFabdo you have a video on the hyrdoboost conversation
@@jacob-he1bg no, I do have a post on my IG but it’s been a few years
Does the parking brake still work?
@@GCLUB602 it would if I didn’t delete it when I bagged the truck.
What was the total cost?
All depends on where you get it from. I used rockauto.
@@CrazydayzFab yea but like how much did you spend lol
Lmfao💀
What’s ur paint code bro ?
What valves or management are on this?
Accuair Vu4
will this work on 4wd
@@rileyritchey5746 yes if rotor and not drum.
