You pay a monthly subscription fee to Poker Go who owns the rights to the content.....I seriously think that has hurt the game's popularity but production isn't free. Still I think Poker Go should of done a monetized UA-cam channel and sold ad space to keep the viewing free....I think that is bad judgment

Nick Schulman has steadily become my favourite poker personality. Great player, analyst, commentator and apparently interviewer too. Future hall of famer in my books.

Good to hear commentary around the social side of poker. It really is going to be the gel that keeps players coming back. This hiatus hopefully has given the "young bucks" a chance to reflect on etiquette, a quick wit, humor, and how insignificant one poker play is in the long run.

calling no limit holdem "full deck" hurts my soul
Full deck includes all the cards.. short deck means the bottom #’s of the cards (2-5) are removed

4:00 something that has gone lost in the last decade or so in poker. The "fun factor" of keeping fish entertained while taking their money is an element that feels lost at the tables lately.
Yes, I started playing about 13 years ago and it used to be much more entertaining the table. Now it’s mostly a bunch of nits and young wannabe pros that want to play GTO and keep their headphones in the whole time without uttering a single word. I find myself missing the days where people were talking my to each other and learning about each other
Casino's have changed. When I first went out to Vegas they treated you well. You wanted to stay and gamble. These days it seems everything is designed to take your money as quickly as possible and move on to start taking the next guys money (as quickly as possible).

I think it would go the same way than against Daniel. Polk is a HU specialist, neither Dwan not Negreanu are. So Polk would probably win. Then again, I would put my money on Daniel in a high roller and on Dwan in a cash game.

I always try to yuck it up with the fish. Many of them can afford to lose no problem. They play for fun. If it ain't fun, they'll stop playing. Autistic robot pros don't get it. The only time I get mad at a table is when a pro is mocking a fish's play when they didn't deserve it. If the fish leaves the game as a result, I will torture needle the pro until they can't handle it and leave. I'll make fun of their autistic salesmanship skills until they crumble.
The new high stakes poker season 8 sucks.... 3 episodes in an nothings happened basically... sorry for the spoilers... but better get better... worse then season 7 at this rate....
