Thank you! Half cents are hard as hell to come by, lol. Nope, zero inside info except that the last time we talked to the distributor, they said they had none and no ETA of when they’ll get more. We did receive two M15s and I sold them immediately to people waiting. Hope to have more soon!
Very nice finds - I loved the button/cufflink with the wavy pattern but the one with the drilled shank even better since it was probably older. Congrats on your draped bust!, that's an incredible find! Thank you for swinging as long as you do so we can all see the numbers! 😉❤
Hey Stef Great Hunt and your hard-core. Love the fact your out in the cold and dark. This Hobby is crazy addicting. Congrats on your Copper. Live the Buttons and the Cuff Link beautiful. Was the spoon handle Silver. Take Care Stef
Thank you! Yeah, I don’t know when to quit (actually I do - it’s when I can’t feel my toes 😂). The spoon so bizarre, it’s like a silver plated… iron? Steel? Never seen a spoon made that way, could even be unrelated to the site and dropped at a much later time.
I love your videos and I'm happy you mentioned the high number of swings over a target.😮 Maybe pull the coil up so it's not rustling the leaves? I will keep watching. Up here in the Boston area. Cheers Stef!
Thank you! I usually clear the area of leaves, but sometimes I forget. 😆 I think it was the number of swings that bothered people, but watching the target trace develop is a big reason people watch, so I do it for them. 😊
Fair to say that the DB 1/2 cent was your second?? From the sounds of your tease for next week, maybe a 3rd?? Excellent finds my friend, and as a Manticore user, swing it Lto R as much as you want- I'm watching the line as well. Keep up the great work Stef!
Haha, nah, I’ll spoil it a little bit and tell you I did not find another one of those, but some GORGEOUS coins came up! And hell yeah, I’m gonna continue showing the 2D screen with every dig for a while! Maybe several months from now once the curiosity wears down a bit, I’ll go back to semi-live digs of just the coin signals. Would make my life much easier. 😂
Looks like a handle to a mirror or a fancy silverware piece maybe wood/bone sandwiched between? Half Cent is my Bucket for this year. A Dandy is just a Bucket all around.
Could be? I almost thought when I was looking back at it today that it could’ve been part of a pewter spoon mold (this family bought and made a lot of stuff out of pewter - buttons, spoons, buckles, you name it). Looked at a lot of examples today though and determined that piece was definitely just a later spoon handle. The other piece probably would’ve been hammered into wood - a type of escutcheon, maybe? 🤷🏼
Thanks Wayne! As always, I’m still trying to get it all together in the relic room. 😆 We’ve had a mild winter so I’ve been digging instead of organizing!
It could be a piece similar to a rosette, I had actually though of that. Quite possibly some type of other horse-related ornament! It just appears to have an indent in the center on the back so I thought that may have been for an iron shank that rotted away.

Awesome Draped bust!! And talk about buttons galore🤘 Sweet vid as always Stef🤘🤘
Thanks for watching! You won’t believe some of the beautiful coins that came up on later hunts! 😁
Swing as much as you need! It's your day! Thank you for bringing us along!
Thank you! Swing, I shall! 😊
I watch because you show the screen and I can see what is happening on the screen. Best manticore video tutorials on UA-cam
Hey, thank you so much! I appreciate that! 😊 I do feel it’s valuable to show the target trace - helps you recognize patterns over time!
Great digs Stef...love the draped bust. I need to get my hands on an m8 coil, any inside info on that?

have to see what you found this week.
Right on! Enjoy the video! 😊
The way you show your video's are great. You are making me better in the field. Thank You
Oh wow, thank you! Glad to hear they’re helping you in the field! 😊

Thank you! That day turned out pretty well! Half cents are so darn hard to find, hah! Took me around 5 years to get the first one.
Awesome finds
Thanks Mark! 😊
I can hardly wait to see what else you've found at this site! Like you said it a good one! Keep on digging, Stef.✌️😊
Thank you! There are a couple of videos I can’t wait to release - some BEAUTIFUL coins came out of this site!
I am so glad you made it through the wilderness Hey! Great dig.
Thank you! Fortunately, I didn’t have a long hike that day - it was COLD! 😂
Awesome hunt. What made me smile is no matter how cold, tired, dark, LOL,,We always have to do one more swing,,,
Hahaha, yup! 😂 It’s so true, I just can’t quit until I find something awesome. If it wasn’t obvious enough, I couldn’t feel my face, lol.
This site is so cool, I see a GW in your future at this site. Thanks for sharing the video. Scott
Thank you, Scott! I wish! This was the home of a Loyalist during the Revolutionary War era, so it’s doubtful, but you never know!

Good hunt there Stef. Congrats on your half cent. Glad you knew what it was. Lots of buttons there too. Well done. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Thanks Andrew! This site only got BETTER after this outing! 😁
I noticed the back and forth but know there is a reason. Wow it’s weird someone would comment negatively about that. Great video.
Thank you! Eh, some people are just impatient - which is odd that they’d be interested in metal detecting, given it requires a LOT of patience. 😂

Congratulations on digging the half cent and buttons! I only have one db half cent, an 1807. Love your videos!
Thank you! They’re so tough to find - my first was an 1804, this is 1805. Hey, maybe 1806 for the next! Why not! 😂
I know that I would have screamed 😱 from excitement
Haha, I was very excited! Feels sketchy to yell into the dark abyss though, so I refrained. 😂
Awsome hunt miss you going thru your finds at the end
Thank you! I may do a big wrap up of this site, actually - just to see it all spread out taking up the entire coffee table. 😆 We shall see!
Great hunt, congratulations on the half cent! Good luck on your next hunt 👍
Thank you!
Congrats on finding your 2nd Draped Bust half cent!! 😃
Thanks Kaye!
Great video ! Thank you.

I gots to get to the east coast. I’ve got family that have some epic property in NC. Another great video Stef, thank you for sharing.
Thank you! East coast is where it’s at! 😊
O nice finds again, what a great site!!
Thank you! Only gets better from here! 😁

Great stuff, love the show. Can you maybe, sometime give us a tour of your relic room? That would be awesome. Stay dirty 👍
Thanks Wayne! As always, I’m still trying to get it all together in the relic room. 😆 We’ve had a mild winter so I’ve been digging instead of organizing!

Awesome hopin weather gets a lil better so I can go chase some beeps lol God Bless and happy dirt fishin…
Not a bad bit of Diggin at all
Was a good day! Even better ones coming up! 😊
Stef could that first item be the back of a rosette
It could be a piece similar to a rosette, I had actually though of that. Quite possibly some type of other horse-related ornament! It just appears to have an indent in the center on the back so I thought that may have been for an iron shank that rotted away.
Monster of a dandy button and nice to see that half cent Stef 👍🇨🇦
Thank you! Ended the day on a high note… or tone! 😆
Ok, hurry up? NO! You’re not placing and order through McDonald’s drive through! Let the detectorist detect and we all enjoy!!!!!
Yes, yes! Thank you! It was only a couple of people griping - they probably would enjoy junk on TikTok if they want instant gratification. 😂
Congrats on the "Bust" coin, nice job! Stay safe, happy hunting!
Thank you! 😊
