      El Mako But he is right though. Low bar squats and wide grip benchpress look ugly as fuck and have almot zero range of motion. You could as well just hold the weight and not move it at all. That this shit even gets counted as a rep...

    • @RustyIsScared
      @RustyIsScared 6 років тому +41

      @dragondude30 no offence but you have no idea what you are talking about, clarence pause atg squat raw 300kg highbar, faceless does sumo deadlift and low bar squat paralell, clarence would squat 340-350 that way and clarence could deadlift like 360 without shoes and a belt conventional, the only thing clarence is weaker in is the bench, and clarence could lift prob 210-215 tradition style wide grip bounce bench, so you have no idea what you are talking about.

    • @Dragondude30
      @Dragondude30 6 років тому +5

      rubenaunet not right now he can't, if u saw a video with him in jujimufus channel. he was having trouble with 515 for 5 reps. faceless does 550 lbs for 10 reps for a warm up no joke. And faceless's conventional deadlift increased to 340 kg. i believe Clarence is much weaker now than he was before. currently I faceless would win in a strength battle

    Do you have a structure or program when it comes to your training? Like, do you just lift whatever weight you feel like each day and for however many reps you want to or do you have it pre-planned out with set lifts for each day based on percentages that covers a set amount of weeks?

    Hey Clarence! Love your stuff!
    Something that I find really interesting is that you weigh about 100kg at about 180cm in height, and still you are very lean with really dense and strong muscle. You are not the biggest guy around, yet you are super strong and pretty heavy. My question would be, how can you weigh that much at your height while not being very bulky?

    Damn Clarence, I mysteriously stopped at 2x bodyweight for Squats. Propably add some mass in the winter.
    I tried my tricking skills today (did a few flips) and snapped my ankle doing a tornado kick. What kind of training do you perform during minor injuries?

    Clarence, when you started going to the gym did you do basic exercises like bicep curls, leg presses, and tricep pushdowns?
    For you to have that type of physique, Or did you only have a hybrid of PL and WL

    Hey Clarance,
    I was wandering, why weightlifters and especialy you are wearing this "wrap" BELOW your knee. Is it some patella tendonitis, m. Osgood Schlatter? Or just for quad Strength?
    Greetings

    Clarence, do you feel that your lifts in general have improved after implementing Jason Blaha's general breathing technique?

    Hey Clarence. Just wondering how important you think protein is for getting stronger? I'm vegan and already pretty muscular but I wanna improve my dead and squat. I'm only eating around 40-80 grams per day currently at body weight of 210.

    I know you went into it briefly in one of these videos, but I would really like to know a bit more about your assistance work. Did you really get to these huge lift numbers while only doing hyperextensions and rear delt flyes?

    Clarence, I'm sure you've been asked this but: have you ever had a crack at the 500m sprint on a concept2 indoor rower? If not, can you be tempted into giving it a go?

    I'd say that he had a very good foundation of power and muscle conditioning due to plyometrics before he began lifting. This is why he progressed so quick because plyonetrics transfers into lifting no doubt.

      Jacob Espinosa I think his vertical is damn near 30 inch. He's fast too. If u check out jujimoofoo videos, that raced and he beat juji bare in high grass

      WEWARD yea I'm sure it's dropped off a bit. But still . 30+ is super impressive even for an athlete honestly

      @crackuhsnackuh 5 років тому +1

      Tom Williams No, 30 isn’t elite at all. Clarence tested his vert on camera it looked over 40”, if anything he only lost 5 inches MAX so he must be 35”+

      There's a old video somewhere where clarence does a 40 inch vertical. The title was him squatting somewhere in 200kg range and he was 81kg if I remember correctly.
