My childhood was always the Duke's of hazard on tv I was always watching it as a kid I was pretty saddened when they eventually stopped airing it on tv. Still to this day is my favorite TV show and always will be. Todays kids will never know how fun it was to watch this back in the day

It was weird to see the passenger side airbag go off when he lands after that long jump.....but I'm really happy to see they are making Crown Victoria/General Lee cars nowadays that can handle alot of abuse an get used several times over. 👌
John Schneider's real deal he did a lot of his own driving in the Dukes of Hazzard series and so cool you would come out and do this kind of stunt with this vehicle.. I know he owns a custom 69 Dodge Charger "General Lee" himself.

My cousin, owned a perfect, knock-off, Dukes General Lee, ‘69 Charger, back when the show was hot! The car appeared new inside and out. I was in middle school, at the time, and envious as all get out! I never got the full story on where the car came from. Sadly, he wrecked it during a snowstorm!

With all the mud, the Charger would have suffered body damage but would have definitely been salvageable. No way the frame would have been bent with that soft of a landing due to the mud. Still plenty of Chargers out there and they’re not being lost due to Dukes jumps they’re being lost cause they’ve been sitting and rotting.
