agreed, there is so much potential in that engine, in fact, it relates more to a 2JZ-GE than just about anything else, and people get 1000+ out of said 2JZ, if the LL8 had the same aftermarket though, i could just imagine the tuning potential

no resonator is purely a sound / drone thing. Has nothing to do with emissions.

its been too long i don't remember. Stock piping is right between two sizes... i went with the size up.

about how much did it cost you getting the exhaust
muffler was just south of $100, tip was about the same, and i think i paid about 100 for the custom pipe. So call it 3-400 total

yea theyre pretty simple trucks. Built stronger than the SUVs today. Not much of an aftermarket but can still tinker a bit.

Honestly it think I’m just gonna go to the parts store and get some pipe and just chop the muffler off
id imagine it would drone like hell. if you do that id definitely say keep the resonator.
cj robitsek that’s what I’m planning on. Also the resonator still being there will trick people into thinking you still have a muffler which is a plus
