Beef Steak Gourmet Sandwiches - Easy & Delicious Recipe - Better than any fancy restaurant!
You do not need a lot of ingredients to make the ultimate, gourmet sandwich, stuffed with tender and juicy beef, gooey provolone cheese, spicy mustard, crisp toppings, in a butter toasted crusty loaf... It does not get better than this! Get ready for this super easy and delicious recipe!
Ingredients:
2 lb skirt steak, flank steak, or thin cut tenderloin steak
2 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp ‪@McCormickVideos‬ Montreal steak seasoning (1.5 tbsp per lb of meat)
1 tbsp red chili flakes (Optional if you want extra heat. Omit if you do not want to use)
1 tbsp spicy brown mustard or dijon mustard
2 tbsp olive oil
Mix everything together to marinate the steaks. Set aside for 1 hour or overnight for best results. When ready. to cook, add 1 tbsp of oil to a pan, on medium high heat. Now place the steaks in an even layer, and cover and cook for 5 minutes per side. Flip over after 5 minutes, cover and cook again for 5 more minutes. Total cooking time is 10 minutes.
Remove from pan. Continue to cook all. the steaks.
Other ingredients, as per needed:
Butter
Mayo
Spicy brown mustard or dijon mustard
Hoagie rolls or any crust bread of your choice
Sliced onion
Sliced pickles
Sliced tomato
Lettuce leaves
Slices of provolone cheese or mozzarella
Grilled/seared hot chilies (optional for extra heat, omit if you want)
Slather butter generously on bread and toast on a hot griddle or panini press. Slather mayo on the toasted bread. Next add some mustard. Add lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato. Place beef steak, followed by cheese. Top with seared hot chilies if using. Close up the hoagie rolls to make your sandwich. Serve immediately with fries or potato chips! ENJOY!
