Can we see scotland league
🏴🔴⚪🔵🏴
Kinsella was a fm legend when he arrived on the scene as a wonder kid... id be interested to see his demise... *cough* I mean.. glorious career...
Why they never did it for the mobile and just drop the price totally for free for a little time
Where was Peter schmeichel?
Would be nice to see who is managing now and if Klopp / guardiola made it as managers.
“Man Utd have had a period of dominance up until 2005”
Me, screaming in my head waiting for him to notice: “RONALDO AT NEWCASTLE”
Where??
Omg i found it
Newcastle?!
@@kamogelok5315 SAME HERE IM LIKE HOW DIDNT HE SEE IT
Me 2 - how did he miss that :D
'No other huge ones standing out to me' he says as he skips over that Roberto Carlos transferring out of Madrid moment.
Skipped all the famous players of the area except all the english players. Facepalm
Classic casual fans mistake, especially uk fanbase.
Paul Pogba having the most assists for Leeds. What a career
And Berbatov finishing a Premier League season with 17 assists? Unbelievable
No
33:08 Marko Arnautović Park hosting the Champions League final
A vidi za sezonu 2029/30 - Manchester i Hertha u finalu, na stadionu Partizana, u Jugoslaviji :)
Can’t believe Rooney wasn’t seen once in this database, madness
Somebody has to be a cab driver, I guess
Neymar as well
Neymar was on there. He joined Chelsea alongside CR
True
Rooney would have only been 13-14 in 1999. What are you talking about?
This would be united if the glazers didn’t own us.
Scotland were runners up in the 2012/2032 euros xD I’d take just qualifying tbh lol
You've qualified!
I'm in 2026 in the normal game an they got to the World Cup final.
As a Leeds fan, if anyone is selling an inter-dimensional time machine I’m in the market for one
Phil Hay has to have one
I broke mine sorry
congrats on the promotion irl, maybe it isn't that bad after all
My b bro
Congratulations on your promotion bro. From a Cityzens
As a Chelsea I just can't imagining having Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane as the attacking three. Holy shoot.
Passarella used to be Argentina's captain in the 80's
He then became a coach after he retired but didn't last long because of his unusual rules such as banning tattoos and weird haircuts
Arguably one of the best central defenders in football history ……
Idol as player, unimpressive as manager, and utterly hated as president. All at River.
No person on UA-cam deserves 100,000 subscribers more! Loving all the content Kev!
This was honestly so mad to see. Great video you’ve produced!
@lollujo Portuguese here - Mario Jardel was a beast of a striker in Portugal when he played for Porto (130 goals in 125 Apps) and Sporting (53 goals in 49 Apps). We always wondered when he would go to a big European club but he never did. He did win the European Golden Boot twice (1998-99, 2001-02) and he was a UEFA Champions League top scorer in 1999-2000.
Looks loads of fun. Does seem like the database is a bit to heavy on EPL dominance though, given they seem to sign everyone and win everything.
@theFMretrogroup is EFL League Two playable?
@theFMretrogroup How did you add the newer players, like Sterling for example, did you use his stats from the first game he was in or did you just estimate them yourself?
theFMretrogroup how do I download it I usually just download all my databases off of steam but I can’t find it on there
Ummm... Where was Wayne Rooney?!?! He was missing from both England squads we looked at, when IRL he woul've been up front w/ Owen
Did anyone check America? If that is just left out.....maybe it's assumed he went for the big paycheck.
All Leeds aren't we!! Love it, would have been so great this. I've got the Packard Bell shirts home and away in my wardrobe 💪 keep up the good work mate always enjoy ya Vids!
Man. This is incredible. Greetings from Argentina!!
Barcelona fans when we see that Messi left, but Real didn’t win La Decima:
“We fine with that”
Oh man, all the talk of Bolton and their period of being land of the misfit toys but you don't remember Jardel's brief cameo there.
in that world, glazers didnt took over Man United. Thats The Reason United keep on Winning All The Way
Unsworth never went to Newcastle, he went to Villa, for about a day, and moved back to Everton.
Thoroughly enjoyed that, loads of little gems in there, and also quite cool to see a couple of real life moves still happen. Would definitely be up for a part 2
Got to love Barcelona beating Chelsea in the 2032/33 season at the Marko Arnautovic Park
I would love to see a series with this database
Glossed over Scotland finishing runners up at a Euros and even more weirdly Thomond Park in Limerick hosting a Champions League final
I love that Bournemouth still made it... with Solanke too!
15:53 and 16:03 Aubamayang and John terry went to Tottenham
And Di Maria
When was the last time we saw kev upload a 30 minuite+ Vid that wasn't a transfer special
Loved this as a Leeds Fan, here’s me hoping we get in Prem this season 💙💛🤞
And we did just that.
excellent video, subscribed
I don’t understand how I missed this video, loved it
This is fantastic!
20:50
Mário Jardel was a great brazilian striker who played for Porto, Galatasaray and Sporting Lisbon. He won the golden boot twice and was the Champions League top scorer once. Sadly, his career went to crap because of a problem with drugs
Wasn';t he a Portuguese international?
and champ manager legend!
Henrik Larsson went from Celtic to Spurs in this database whereas irl he went to Barcelona from Celtic
Also went for 9m absolute robbery.
That Denilson who went from Betis to Arsenal is not the one you're thinking of
I was about to say the same. He better has skill 20 and teamwork 1 😆
@@richarddcrossley Man, I laughed so hard when I read "teamwork 1" 😂😂
The Betis Denilson was a Legend for me
Really like the direction of the quality of your channel in the last couple of months hopefully you can hit 100,000 by the end of the year
I hope so too!
@@lollujo same the change in quailty is great, he has left a lot of other fm youtubers behind
Things I've noticed:
Claudio Bravo for Man U
Luis Suarez in Betis of all places
Arturo Vidal to PSG
Petr Cech in Valencia
Draxler in Bayern M.
and otamendi still ends up at city..
I'm currently playing on a 2003/2004 database which is a lot of fun I spent about 5 hours just going over all the main teams players lol
Nigel Martyn's age is wrong, in 2010 he'd have been 43/44 not 33
Must be a bug that caused him not to age, he'd have been 33 at the start.
It seems a common thing in the dB, Messi age 32 in 2040? Salah 27 in 2040...
Red Rob u realize that 2040 in this dB is actually 2020 right?
@@dylanstafeil1050 yeah it explains why the 20 year disparity.
@@Floppyflipflops473 Theres a 30 year disparity for Nigel Martyn though, all players DOBs should be 20 years later than they actually are to account for it, but Martyn was born in 1966 and his DOB on the database is 1996, thats why he is still playing way later than he should be
"König Otto" Rehakles(Rehhagel) at Leeds ^^ Mario Jardel had a couple of good years at Porto 125games 130goals, gala and sporting
His best games were at Newcastle Jets, where he arrived overweight and with a coke addiction. Strangely he never scored a single goal all season.
Quality video, nice to see Chelsea had some success too as the save was started before Abramovic 😂
I mean before Abramovich chelsea were a very decent club. It made sense for them to win stuff in this save just like tottenham
@@giovanni21mas correct 👍
The days when us and Leeds were in the prem
Yup, the good old days.
Yes lad
Urm ur back
@@milkman4760 no hes not, he supports bradford
Nigel Martyn is 10 years too young in this simulation - he is 53 in real life, so would have been 43 in 2010 and not 33 as the game says
Thought he says it was 9900 is it not right?
No, because he showed his age in 2010, not 2000. The fact they have corrected the database should show it was wrong :p
@@seannyt-b i still play championship manager still alaive and kicking with old databases suchbas 93 season and 89/90 plus updated seasons but can you change the year on football manager yet Like championship manager?
@theFMretrogroup 4:20 Xavi was also 29 in the beginning of this
Thanks for this. Downloading now. Would love to see a save on it, maybe with Bournemouth
Brilliant watch Kev, as a Sheffield Wednesday fan I hate the reason in real life we got rid of Jamie Vardy our manager at times said he was too small... not as half as bad when we had Eric Cantona and manager at times said he’d not adapt to English game then joined Leeds and the rest is history
Hmmm, a series with wimbledon looks interesting
I wish you'd looked a bit more at the divisions below. The 1999/2000 season was a watershed season for my Stockport County as we went into the new millennium in the Division One (Championship) playoffs only for us to go on an awful winless run that signalled the beginning of our decline which ultimately resulted with us in the SIXTH tier of English football. We're only now (twenty years later) finally climbing our way back up slowly.
Someone might have already mentioned this but Mario Jardel was at Bolton for a short time. He was a bit “heavy” when he was with us and the only things I remember him doing were putting the ball over the bar from about a foot out and Kevin Nolan beating in him a race during the warm up running backwards.
I think Xavi is ten years too old at the beginning of the simulation
Marko Arnatouvic Park holding a Champions League final and Jeff Hendrick and Scott Parker having assist crazes in Bundesliga and La Liga... this is gold XD
I could swear I saw scotland in an international final there...
Damn you Kev. There goes ALLLLL my free time.
I am break from FM 2020 but watching your video make me watn to play again
Harry Kewell 104 caps 108 goals lmao. Great stuff
Absolutely loved this video! A lot of memories!!!!!
Can’t believe you didn’t notice Alex McLeish at Barca
I thought for a moment I saw the Leeds manager was 'Peter Purves' lol. Only ancient British types like me will know who that is!
Does that mean that John Noakes is the assistant manager? ;)
Andrius Skerla from Real Madrid to Roma :D That's superb :D Jagiellonia legend
Can we stop calling him “Fat Ronaldo” put some respect on R9’s name
So true he could be the best player in the world if he wasn't injured that much.
True should cal him the Brazilian Ronaldo
well he isn't wrong but it was on his' carrer's last seasons, if I was him I would call Ronaldo as R9 or Phenomenon, which is how brazilians call him
Originaldo
he is fat tho
This is brilliant, when does the official version get released and where would we be able to get our hands on it?
It's Mario Jardel. The man was a goalscoring mashine
Until Bolton signed him 😂 Seen Nakata signed for Chelsea early on also. Good times 😅
Legend from Grêmio! Could've won the Clubs World Cup against the magic Ajax from 96! Amazing player
John Nieuwenburgs career sky rocketed. Chivu’s career also is slightly better then real life. Suarez at Betis. Much fun.
Mario Jardel was great at Porto, I think he played for Bolton for a very brief spell but didnt do much after that.
19:06 "Fat Ronaldo" 🤣 got to love how this how he's known.
I love how Messi develops a decent long throw attribute 😆
Trent-A-A has no set piece abilies ❤ i actually love this save.
Back in the day, I played Champ Man 99/00 for 40+ seasons. Crystal Palace won a European Cup. I ought to dig that game out.
in this universe, Yugoslavia still exists and we hosted a Champions League final, good times, and Radnicki Nis winning the domestic title, oh so lovely
And we fought for Yugoslavia to not exist anymore, and get to the World Cup final 🇭🇷 better times now
Man Utd steal Lampard and Chelsea one up them and steal C Ronaldo
But United got Messi so who really won..🤔😂
@@JasW79 one with Ronaldo and Neymar
Na the one that won the league the most
dont get it twisted we wouldnt trade lampard for anyone......accept Messi
Lampard is only one worth mentioning here
In 2009 John Terry went from Man City to Tottenham , us Chelsea fans are fuming o
As a BVB fan the screen at 32:27 is beautiful until i noticed the vice-captain
I'm a Leeds fan, of course it would have been enjoyable winning champions leagues (not so much the dominance of Man Utd) but I like the Leeds I've grown up supporting too, I feel like seeing my team in league one and struggling in the championship has made me a bigger fan of the club not always having it our own way makes the good times that much better and now we're finally back in the top flight and I can see a different side to Leeds United.
this is cool!
Paul Scholes with 9 composure? Have a word with yourselves Retro Group...
Scholes used to lose his cool and lash out a lot back in the day. He wasn't composed at all until his latter years after Fergie probably gave him the hairdryer treatment one too many times
@@stealthiscool That would fall under the hidden attribute "Dirtiness".
The "Composure" attribute concerns in game situations. As an example it can negatively affect other attributes such as "Passing", "Shooting", and "Decisions" when the player is under pressure from opponents or through on goal. These are all things that Scholes has been at least above average at throughout his career. He was always a quality finisher (which Composure plays a large part in), and later in his career when he dropped back into a Regista-type role his Composure was arguably one of his most significant strengths.
Clicked on this genuinely thinking it was Adam Richman from Man vs Food, love the vid though!
Potential here for Holme 90's Kev you usually go plenty of seasons
Any legend: *exists*
Man United: i want that guy ASAP
Alex McLeish becoming manger of Barcelona!! Wow who would have thought that
10:31 Wenger as manager 😂
Is it bad I dont know who this guy is? The answer is YES :D CM/FM legend imo.
Would love to see a real play through of this DB!
what a beautiful walk down memory lane! What a different history! Glory Glory Man utd!!!
I love the fact that the team that stopped United winning 10 in a row was Liverpool
Things you love to see:
Barcelona managed by Alex McLeish
Scotland finishing runners up in the Euros 2012
Love the retro shirts 😁
Technically Wimbledon didn't disappear they had there name changed to milton Keynes dons. But fans brought them back as afc wimbledon. 1999-2000 is there last season in the top league.
Olof Mellberg being Citys manager is hilarious to me !
Schevchenko went from being am absolute beast at AC Milan to one of chelseas biggest ever flops along with Torres and falcao of course
Daniel Passarella was the Captain of Argentina in the 1978 World Cup, where Argentina was champion.
I love Lampard but Neymar Ronaldo and Kane is a fair offer lol
33:59
"Gerrard was born on 1st January 1900..."
Does this have eredevisie(dutch) updated as well?
Everton being 4th and getting skipped over in the discussion, just like real life!
Barnsley made it back to the Prem. The dream is alive
Happy B day Kev sorry it was a day late :/
You should upload the save with this simulation so we can take a look at some other things!
xavi being in Barca in 1999 I had no idea he was playing that early
Surprised you don't know Passarella, lifted the World Cup twice as captain
cm99-00 was insane i always raid leeds back then lol
As a United fan I approve of this alternate timeline. 👍🏻
Great idea. Thanks for the time.
