well im definitely playing this game wrong. im level 34 and only got 3 diamonds. ones a turkey, ones a duck, and i just got my first diamond fallow yesterday. it has to be my play style since i’m so impatient.
@@mralex070 the only albinos i have found are from DUCKS. the ducks in this game are the bane of my existence. for some reason most of my rare “fur coats” or whatever else it’s called for non furs, have been mostly ducks. all of the 5 albinos i’ve seen have been all from ducks. i don’t really understand how respawning works all that much until i started watching videos, and im still confused by it

Me and my husband just got the savanna map. Running around together, I found a wildebeest herd and the 2nd one I downed was a Diamond. That was the first diamond I have ever gotten - and I hit accept without thinking. I should have saved it!
great video as always, i would like to add a special mention for the mission animals that might make diamond and a few give rare fur variants, like the albino fallow deer from the hirschfelden mission or the albino from the medved missions.
Great video! You are right about the white-tailed deer. I have found every drink zone in revontuli and setup tents and tripods and in my 2 weeks of doing my grind for the white-tailed great one, I have gotten around 12 diamonds doing herd management. I even got a lucky respawn of white-tailed deer in the upper right part of revontuli lakes with 2 270+ trophy rating deers. I was elated when I got 2 diamonds in 1 lake!
I got my first diamond by accident... I was doing a mission in silver ridge peaks where you have to photograph the train tracks. I pulled out my camera and this HUGE level 8 mountain lion walked out in frame. I let out a jackrabbit call and shot him at 100yds with my 308. I didnt realize how rare this was until watching almost all of your videos that you have put out over the last 6 months. I used to play this game on xbox like 4 years ago, but I saw it on the steam sale and just thought I'd pick it up again. I fell in love almost immediately. It is visually stunning, and large animals are rare enough (when walking around and doing missions) that it feels magical when you do spot and kill a large one. Thanks for all the content.
Im finding Moose difficult. I've been grinding for weeks now on Medved getting to about 15 Moose a run. That count is coming down now as I dont find that many to shoot any more with most now female or Minors. I've found 2 piebalts but zero diamons. 1 Troll. Not sure what im doing wrong.
I agree with two fawns being the best lake on silver ridge I killed a super rare piebald 513 scoring Rocky initial spawn on mine then joined multiplayer and killed a 486 scoring diamond.
from experience blue wilderbeast have for whatever reason have been my best luck creature... 5 diamonds, an albino and crowned. mind you, at the time i had 4 diamond wilderbeast. the only other diamond i had was a water buffalo but have recently slowed on them in search of new diamonds and rares

Farming and finding are 2 different things. and you should have a few diamonds in 1200 kills. That's very strange! There is normally a diamond whitetail on a brand new map or when whitetail have been reset on the map somewhere. hope yours spawns soon
Same here! I’ve been playing for 2 years on Layton (only grinding set up for 3 months) and still havnt got a dimond whitetail. Starting to think I’m doing something wrong. My easiest dimond is lion on my lion grind, got a few of those in a couple of weeks.
I also did Farming because i have Seen one Diamond, but lost him. I did Not find hin again. After weeks of Farming I checked again all possible places of Drink zones and finally i found 30% more zones then i have served all the time before. AND there i found him again! Long Story short: make Sure you have found all Drink zones, then you can start Farming - or better call it Herd Management. Lady LegendXO hast published some Videos to that topic. With 1700 Kills you should get a great one and this after 20-30 diamonds!
@@promarketingaustralia layton is a lot harder to be honest for whitetail diamonds. I never had a diamond there and i did check a lot of zones (not all of them) so maybe the whitetails do just spawn far away or singularly in layton. I have a lot of piebald lvl 2s though off layton.

My first 3 diamonds (as far as I'm aware, I've only recently started playing the game caring about that. Before i just ran around and shot things.) Were, Cape Buffalo, roe deer, and Iberian Wolf.
Only been playing for about a week (I’ve played previously when the game came out on console but I never got better than a gold) using these videos and my previous knowledge of how the game DID work. I got 3 diamonds. A banteng, fallow deer, and a red fox! Gonna try herd management here the next couple weeks and try to snag my first GO!!

In my saseka lodge i got 3 multi's with 3 Whites (2 Albino, one leucistic) 3 darks (2 melas and a piebald) and the 3 diamonds..so they are my 9 Christmas reindeers😂 and the diamonds took months because All of them were trolls... Easiest diamond for me Is wilderbeast within 20-30 minutes I found 3 diamonds and could have been another 2 if I didn’t mess up the shots. Love the vid would like a toughest diamond vid definitely.
Western Capercaillie is the easiest diamond in my opinion. Not only do they rarely troll, but also do they come and find you often enough. I have not stalked a single diamond W.C. but they have all poked me in the butt before become members of my lodge. XD Funnily enough I have yet to even see a level 5 fallow deer. As for mountain lions, I often see diamond range animals, but somehow I already botched two of them, while I rarely ever botch them otherwise. You can however hunt them at Parque Fernando though, as well. And I would love to see the hardest diamonds to find video. Thank you for putting out always the best CotW content.
I got a "Dimond" springbuk and warthog but i failed their harvest check. The "dimond" Springbuk was my first kill but i used the wrong rifle by accident. And the warthog i missed its vital by an inch I also found a lv. 9 lion but it was a troll.
I'm a seasoned player (since 2017) and i still shoot springbok with the wrong gun tbh. They are the same-ish size as pronghorn so the 30.06 just feels so natural... nope lol the .243 is needed.
Gredos are tricky to get diamond or getting one to spawn simply because there's less places where they drink compared to the other ibex. I have yet to get one for my grandslam and have to go and harvest red deer or anything else to clear the pressure.
The easiest diamonds I ever found were brown bear and wild goats. I have farmed a whitetail dear diamond for over a week one and never even encountered a level 3, which it's really unfortunate, but I will keep trying. Great video btw!
My game must be bugged, ran round the north/east/south coast looking for the buffalo and didn't find any, there were some a little further inland though, none at the beach area though.

Update - I was clearly going about at the wrong time of the day, between 09:00 and 12:00 is the need times, I've found 3 legendary already in the past 24 hours alone and bagged my first ever Diamond(that wasn't a goose, they don't count because they are too easy lol). Thanks!

The whitetail thing is crazy to me, I have been farming and have around 1200 kills but still have only found 1 diamond.

I think you got mountain Lion right once I was in silver ridge peaks and found a 7 then a 9 but I couldn't get a shot and couldn't find it.

Im grinding Reindeer now, but so far only 3 trolls. Plenty to shoot though. Im getting about 20 in a run. Oh well, at least im making money.

I have hunted turkey quite a bit and have such a hard time getting turkey diamond I have shot 3 albinos but not a diamond yet somehow
And I have a quite a few diamonds but can't find an albino lol! Hope you find one soon!
On the lake that you have a decoy at in the bottom left corner I have a whitetail zone there

Polymer tip generally get better penetration, so are more likely to reach those vital organs even if they catch a bone on the way.
