Audi R8 V10 x times more problems? We had to strip the engine down from the top

  • Welcome to the second episode with the R8 V10.
link to first video - • How easy repair turned... where we diagnosed the issues and actually repaired what was possible to make the engine run on idle. After the smoke leak test was done we had to go much deeper into the engine which was really painful for our lower back.
    Thanks for watching

Nothing wrong with owning an Audi, as long as you're the first owner, and keep up with all servicing and, maintain while you own the vehicle.
A lot of issues are caused by other people's negligence.
If they can't afford the upkeep, don't buy in the first place.

I’ve owned lots of Audis over the past 25 years & loved them all .all who had been good cars and I found it very satisfying to own them ,currently on a 2017 Audi allroad sport model with sport Tronic and 3.0v6 tdi absolute dream to own drive I haven’t found a car that can rival all this
you can get videos on any brandWhich will put you off I suppose.

@SalimKhan-gk1fh My dad had a C6 Quattro V6 TDI 7 years ago, and I remember that car was a beast, so much power and acceleration. It was incredible really for a daily driver! But once he fuelled from a dodgy gas station and had to replace all of the injectors after 500 km, and the dash was a Christmas light show. So yeah, maintenance and fuel used are crucial.

I just want to say the level of effort you put in to the editing of your videos is probably similar to the amount of physical effort you put in the actual servicing and repairs of your customers cars. You change the music up in a lot of the videos and your explanations and time lapses flow really well. Thumbs up. Thank you watching in my 1.8T A4 2009 160bhp

About 15 yrs ago I rebuilt a couple of Porsche boxsters, both had the same problem of overheated engines/gasket failures. They were bas---ds to work on had to drop the engine/transmissions out from the underneath, no four post lifts, just, jacks, wooden blocks and rolling about on the garage floor. We rebuilt a good few engines, and these got the budget rebuild treatment, no huge new parts bill, just the required parts to a minimum- chain guides, head and blocks gasket skim, the usual stuff, hot pressure washing everything, including the blocked oil coolers. The first 2.7 car when finished was fantastic, I thrashed it daily and it loved it,- sold, on to the next, a 3.2S, this one had every plastic part melted or distorted it'd gotten that hot, same budget treatment secondhand parts, loctite 5900 silicon gasket back up. It needed rings, way too expensive from porsche so I found a perfectly sized and material alternative at a tenth of the price, cadillac northstar V8 +.020. Somehow on the engine rebuild even though I knew to be careful I managed to get one of the cams 180 degree out of phase, luckily on start up I caugt it early and no damage was done but it all had to come out and be redone, but I'd had enough by then. The engine again was brillient, but I could'nt bring myself to hammer it like the first, the thought of doing it all again was too much. Sold it, saw the purchaser some time later, still had it ,loved it. Long story, happy days.🙂
