I own only one Zeon kit and that's the RG Sinanju. Not really a big fan of Zeon suits other than Sinanju and Nightengale, But the Zaku 2's are starting to grow on me. Thanks for the review! Definitely wanna give this kit a shot.
Very nice kit built mine last week looking forward to that Origins Desert type Zaku the one with the cannon on its back
It's not a Desert Type, just a Zaku Half Cannon, being a standard C5 Zaku retrofitted into mid-range fire support. Nothing in common with desert type other than the colors. Still looking forward to it, though!
I picked up this kit while I was in Japan at the Gundam base and is my second Gunpla figure I have built. I absolutely love it. The amount of accessories and the articulation is seriously badass.
Great kit choice, but poor shop choice! Gundam Base is overpriced. Did you use my Tokyo Gunpla Guide?
@@ZakuAurelius I actually haven't watched that video yet! But I will now!! I did notice that and I just recently bought a GM Sniper II and Full mechanics Vidar kit from a bay area shop for a good price so I suppose I redeemed myself. Hahah. Honestly really looking forward to building the GM Sniper II when I have time but college starts for me again tomorrow so we'll see how much time I do have. hahaha
always hated the ori zaku shade of green but this one.....delicious
Am I the only person who thinks Bandai should make a Master Grade Zaku 3.0?

We need less high grades for Zaku 2 AND MORE MASTER GRADE FOR REPLACEMENTS!!! Don't get me wrong I love the Zaku, but considering that RX-78-2 has so many master grades variants, a good display of two gundams that are up to par with each other can never go wrong.

I see a small tab on the underside of the sniper rifle chamber, just in front of the magazine. What do you use it for?

You probably built this without even looking at the instructions LOL I barely glanced at them while constructing my second High Mobility type
Note- this thing is solid. So solid that I completely missed a central chest piece that goes directly goes on top of the waist... and I never noticed anything wrong for a week. Yeah. The upper chest has a "spine" that ends in a get that goes into the waist. The "stomach" is just a piece that goes over the spine and helps to cover up the gap in the back (clear open hole the middle). I only noticed that the piece was missing after seeing the ab crunch on another origin kit video. Even without that piece to rest on, the chest stayed up without any issue. It is a strong "spine".
Already have Char's Zaku II, but finding it really hard to resist buying this one

Looking forward to your tutorial on removing the seam on the front of the arm. Better replace the wrist socket with a poly cap, otherwise (I heard) switching manipulators will force the seam open...
What’s the difference between C-5 and C-6?
I'm noticing the other backpack(The one you didn't use) doesn't seem to have a hole for the Bazooka holder but then I saw a port on the back skirt. Can you put the Bazooka holder in that port?

Please include the legs if you do make that video about the seams. I personally found the high mobility type's legs to be a special kind of hell to clean the seam on. It is definitely not beginner friendly when it comes to painting. Maybe I'd get the C5 if the seams on those legs are less awful. The arm seams aren't too bad if you have any sort of scribing tool to clean out the panel line and in the corners.
My C-5 has a commander's antenna and the reasoning is he is a commander of a sniper unit. Gotta keep it military colors, I just custom painted the antenna and spikes and he's good to go, along with that rifle.
man I've broke the clip for holding the bazooka, is there any other Origin kits that has that clip besides any Zaku II variants?
zainul0021 the yms 3 waff. One of the black TriStar zaku ii comes with one but it doesn't use it because he gets the giant axe

Would you recommend this zaku, the RG zaku, or another zaku if you could only get one standard zaku? (Color doesn't matter)
SetsunaKai5 I’d get this one or the HGUC Zaku F2, if you’re talking only between 1/144 scale kits. That’s a little bit just personal opinion, but those two are undeniably two of the best 1/144 Zakus

Paolo Antonio Lomotan Shin's Zaku is a R-type, so it will be a color variant of the black tri stars version
Between this and the HGTB Zaku II, which design is better? considering only the mobile suit, and ignoring the big gun.
This is probably “better” objectively. But if you like the TB version then go for it. It’s not bad

If you buy a hyaku shiki make sure you buy the newer one, it has some improvements from the first. Bu for my recommendation i'd say either, ez8 or ground gundam.
The Hyaku Shiki Revive ver. is good...Then you might want to go for HG Revive Zeta, HGUC ZZ, HGUC Victory 2(All Gundam Project), HGUC Banshee Norn Destroy Mode, HGUC Byarlant, HGUC Delta Kai, Kampfer, Gouf Custom, Char's Zaku II Origin ver.
Also try the RG and/or HG revive version of the Gundam Mk II, and also the HG/RG Sinanju to go with your Unicorn. Pretty much available in SM/Ayala/Robinsons, or through the various hobby shops in Metro Manila.
Kungfu Kenny HGUC gm striker, gabthley, gm powered, byarlant custom, asshimar, gaplant, gaza-c, any char's counterattack hg, hguc Full armor 7th gundam, zogok,and etc
I recommend HG sinanju, HG GM quel, HG the origin char Zaku 1, HG the origin black Tri Stars Zaku 2, RG mk 2 either Titans or aeug, and RG zgok
SaxoRocks well tahts because the hguc line was designed to not cut corners (most of the time unlike the hg ibo line)

I feel like they didn't make an action base hole because, if they did, it would be too shallow in the waist due to the need for accommodation of the swinging hip joints; a decent tradeoff, in my opinion.
looks like this will be the placeholder Zaku unit of the 1979 anime OYW diorama as we wait for the HGUC Revive version to be made, despite being super detailed & looks out of place with the Revive RX-78-2, Guncannon, Gouf, & Gyan that has the 1979 anime designs.
I would like to see the zaku revive ver as well. And I wish they make a guntank revive ...
The revive Gundam is really not an anime-style design. It's based on the Real Grade design, which is based on the Master Grade designs, they just wiped out all the surface detail.
Gouf is a bit more anime-styled. Not sure about the Guncannon and Gyan personally.

Would you PERSONALLY recommend the zaku I(origin), or this one? So essentially which one do you like more?
Either one is good. But if anything, I recommend the Zaku II Origin High Mobility type.
I do believe he's talking specifically about the green ones. If I had to pick just one it would be the zaku i but I have a job and no children so I will be getting both of them very soon. I was just checking again to see if it came with the long rifle and it does so I'm probably going to be getting zaku II first
Why does it have 2 backpack versions?
One is for the type c, and the other one is for the c5
Is the c6 better??
The Zaku C6 comes with all the chest and shoulder extra pieces that you would see in the Type C5 Zaku, but the Zaku C6 doesn't come with the classic Zaku gun, only the belt version gun. I would buy the Zaku C5 if you want both guns, but other than that everything is the same.

warlord13000 tough call! Both are good in different ways. Straight out of the box with no extra work then I’d go RG, but if you’re gonna remove the seams and paint then I prefer the HG

Your kit looks like it has a lighter green color than my kit and the other ones on youtube. Is it just me or does your camera see things in a different color.

marcdosh57 just look up a tutorial, if you have plastic cement and a hobby knife and sandpaper you can do it easily. Put the cement on both halves, squish it together allowing the excess liquefied plastic to bubble out, hold it together until it dries, let it sit to cure for a couple hours, then cut away the excess if needed, and sand it smooth. Check out Bunkerpla on UA-cam for some more great tutorial stuff.

ZakuAurelius and it works really well I did it to my chars zaku 1. I’d also suggest giving the joint and the inner armor a bit of a sanding cos that part scrapes paint off like crazy.
