Contestants include magician Wanda, who didn't have a good match; Chrissy, who hooked up with a similarly-named guy; and Melanie, whose date the audience votes for before the show ends.
This recording came from a damaged tape, so the middle of this video is very defective, alas.
Justin seemed like a nice guy..wanda on the other hand 🙄

Right off the bat I knew Wanda's type lol. The second guy won the whole crowd over with the sister comment.
The legendary voice of "Jeopardy!" himself, Johnny Gilbert announcing!
Chuck even thanked him like Trebek did, and like the Jeopardy hosts to this day.
Johnny's booming voice, while perfect for _Jeopardy!,_ did *not* match _Love Connection_ at all. His delivery is too dramatic for what's supposed to be a lighthearted show.
That first woman was a downer.

I don't think anything was wrong with Wanda. I thought she looked kinda nice, if only she would smile. She did have a nice smile, when she did smile, but it looks like she's been burned, so her guard is up. When Chuck asked her if she'd go out on a date with Justin again she said, "WHAT?", I thought l would die.
Justin was handsome, smile and expression like Clark Gable. Devilish mischievous grin. 😆 🤣 😂 Seemed fun too. Lighten up girl!
I hope Justin was asked back to have a better dating experience, Wanda was dreadful.

There's this thing on a VCR called a tracking button...
It isn't a tracking issue. The tape itself was damaged a long time ago, thanks to being in a humid environment and kept away in a storage unit for about 14 years.
