My friend thought it was a tribute and mentioned that after we left the Giant Center, but it's not really a tribute song and again, Maynard didn't change any lyrics or mention Cornell. Grateful I was there to hear it, though.

Maynard was on top of his game as he belted out the "goodbye" in its full range. Man, it was awesome. Clearly, Maynard just can't do it anymore so it won't hurt my feelings if I don't hear it this upcoming tour.

Give that a try then explain how it's a tribute. I dare you. Coincidences do happen people. It's a strange thing we humans have, making connections that aren't there to try and make sense of things.
