Can i sleep 😂
awesome video, which model was this?
Is that cybertruck
Wheres the icon in Tesla?
Keep your hands on the wheel.
In 20-30 years this probably will be totally normal thing and much safer
Yeah currently it's more stressful than driving urself
20-30 years??? It’s not going to take that long. It’s damn close.
@@saufai74well said
@@saufai74 it'll take that much before poor people from developing countries will be able to buy it without any problem
@@bulat_shamspoor countries should focus on creating better public transit rather than cars

But without the smelly people.
@@nielsvandenkieboom5034 if your driver is stinky you are screwed :D
Hey, please be careful how you “promote” this feature. You HAVE TO have your hands on the wheel all the time, it’s in one of the disclaimers you agree on when turning this feature on. I have it too (waited more than 6 months, but only paid $5k in 2019. A lot of its capabilities amaze me, but make no mistake on believing it’s “self driving.” I believe it’s far more intelligent than anything out there, but complacency can lead to potential accidents, even fatal ones. We have one narrow street that was even made narrower by a pile of leaves on both sides of the road. Our Model X on FSD and NOA folded its mirrors to get through the street - I was blown away! But it also encountered turns where FSD just turned off and gave the controls back to the driver.
So please don’t hype it to your followers that you can just sit and touch the wheel once in a while. Promoting this behavior can lead to potentially fatal accidents and halt further development of what can become a level 5, autonomous driving.
Yup I agree. Its a shame to see this FSD development be banned by government due to accidents caused by people getting over complacent.
So true, it's quite good but you still have to be alert to take over
True, it’s such a cool feature but the margin of error of reckless drivers are scary high and they usually take advantage of these kinds of features 😓
If you have to have your hands on the wheel at all times… you might as well just drive. Ridiculous feature if that’s the case.
@@stun5793 no driving yourself and having hands on steering are a lot different. It's less stressful with FSD/Autopilot
The anxiety is not worth the benefit of not driving
Speak for yourself
@@rova3308 yeah that’s what comments are for
@@rova3308lol was gonna say the same
Let’s just start every comment with “It is my opinion that…” (by the way this is my opinion😂🤦🏻♂️)
True that
Why do I get the feeling it'll be more exhausting to babysit the car while it's driving rather than driving it yourself
As of right now it is, I’ve come to the point to just drive it myself instead of FSD or autopilot even. Too much work trying to rely on it to do the right things
FSD separates the control freaks very fast. It really is a " control freaks need not apply" thing.
I absolutely agree.
@@GWAForUTBE its not control, but anxiety not knowing what will be the next move
@@RetroExhibitCollectivelies! I drove 300 miles on autopilot. Takes less work to observe the cars handling. Still need your hand on the wheel. I transport boat so having a car do most of the work helped to sit back and relax with less tension
Yeah..would love to see someone trying it in Naples, Mumbai or Cairo 😁
Yep, testing this feature in chaotic cities should be the rule
@@goduxunike it would be impossible. I get frustrated with American drivers sometimes until I go to some other countries and the way some places drive is beyond our imagination and they are able to do it pretty successfully. It’s a miracle. I don’t think it would EVER work in Cairo or many cities like that
@@sandyt4343 I think they will work the best when everyone will be using the cars with autopilot mode on
I am French and I have a Tesla model Y with the autopilot that I use very regularly in France because the roads are wide and clean, But I did a road trip in Italy to Naples, it was a nightmare, I thought they had roads like in France or Northern Europe, but not at all, The roads are cramped and with broken traffic lights, the autopilot did not walk and it was very complicated to drive there, I even got my Tesla Y scratched after 3 hours in the city, I directly left Naples for a more civilized city, I was shocked !
@@leosantesso1446 trying to drive in Naples? It’s amazing that the car just didn’t pull over to the side and cry . Or the computer didn’t start smoking and quit.
There probably isn’t enough computer power on earth yet to be able to drive in Rome, Naples, or Cairo.
It’s a wonder that we can even do it.
You live in a good organised area. If you tryed that in my street you would most likely crash
I lived in Dallas and in form mexico, and to be honest people here drive like crazy, it is intimating
@@mmanzur same, with all the construction going on my tesla keeps going into the wrong lane. Especially in downtown where there’s no lanes in parts, it glitches hard.
Actually, you can see it doing an amazing job in Philly streets, with barely any interventions

Its still in beta mode, meaning working in progress. Better have those hands on the wheel to take over in case something happens 🤦♂️
Natural selection.
Now it's out of Beta, FINALLY ELON! TESLA TO THE MOON! EVEN AHEAD OF SPACE X!
In india it will not only ask you to put on seat belt but also check its own insurance before self driving.

I don’t even trust my toaster to make a nice toasty bread let alone trust a car to drive me across town 😅
But I guess most think that’s pretty great ?
Cheers everyone from Vancouver Canada ✌️
That's the reason it's called toaster it mades toast for you Duh but ik isn't the same with a car

A split second before you hit anything the self-driving will disconnect so Tesla can not be sued for any damage or fatality…
Your point is?
@@TWatcherPleaseSUBTesla is not responsible for the damages so you’re just sending yourself on a suicide mission.
Thats great then lol think ill stick with an older car
It is great as long as you know it's limitations. I have a 2022 Model Y. I usually use mine more when less cars are around so they don't get too annoyed when it does something too slow. It is great too see how far it has come. Especially on the highways it's basically flawless. Puts a smile and eases lots of any stress for long drives. The price tag is worth it. Because once the feature becomes fully fully autonomous then it's worth even more than 100K. Can't wait to see what it can do in 2025, 2027 and then 2030. Craziness.
You still need to be fully awake and keep your hands on the wheel just in case the autopilot feature cannot handle extreme weather
It should be free. Waymo is almost free and works considerably better.
@@StephenCurry-nm7io Waymo is good only in a sandbox type of situation and only available in certain cities. You want a general purpose AI when it comes to all types of roads and conditions. Level 2 is good for now...

When supra guys have their car as their personality it's ok but when it's a Tesla it's not?
When someone is displaying jealousy it’s obvious and it ain’t cute.
@@HaydenLau. can't compare car enthusiasts to Tesla/Elon lovers (or some, worshippers) though tbf
They love to drive, the sound from the turbo and engine, just the car... tesla seems totally separate from that, like it comes with some 'lifestyle', it's special n unique

@@gram. Supra guys is a lifestyle too. Or bmw guys. Or any other nice car. People like to show off their car. You can't have double standards just because you don't like that car
I remember my teacher was teaching us about cars when I was in the younger grade and we were talking about driving tests he said “when you are all older and old enough to drive a car there will be cars that will drive themselves” idk why but that stuck in my head and he has proven himself right because I still can’t drive a car however cars can drive themselves
15k for this feature is a lot money
Full self driving implies that I should be able to sleep, sit in the back or even work on my laptop while the Tesla drives itself.

Congratulations. It was a long wait
it was also responsible for a 7 car pile up on the bay bridge last month on thanksgiving, which injured 8 adults and 8 kids.
It was not the Tesla FSD that was responsible for that, true it had a glitch, but the real problem was all the idiots tailgating.
No it wasn't. The reporting on that story is wrong, and you can prove it trivially: FSD Beta doesn't operate on freeways. The Bay Bridge counts as a freeway.
@@DontThinkSo11FSD Beta does work on freeways. It works on all streets using navigate on autopilot.
@StephenCurry-nm7io It does now. It did not at the time. Navigate on Autopilot is not FSD, it's a completely different software stack.
@@DontThinkSo11 FSD version 11 uses single stack for both highway and city driving. When specifically was the story though? I haven't seen it really.
Omg for somebody who is scared of driving like me i neeeeedddd this 😍😍😍😍😍😍 like im 30 yrs old and never learned how to drive cuz im just too scared to drive as i get distracted by random stuff instead of paying attention on the road constantly as i just love to look outside everywhere and thats why i never wanted to drive as i always hv feared i might get in an accident and not just harm myself but also other passangers with me as i can really be absent minded at times but with this tesla i can sit on the driver seat and still enjoy the views 😍😍😍😍
I agree .Looks amazing!!!
It’s a wide, empty street at low speeds. Try that on a busy commercial area at speed limit and tell me how safe you feel.
Just saying Pay more attention because if it does get an emergency obviously you will not be ready
I have always dreamed of driving a car with my own hands, but I never had the chance because I can't afford a car yet. It surprises me to see people who are excited to give up driving with their hands and let a machine take over.
What a world we live in, where some people have so much and some have nothing at all.
I thank God that I'm at least in the middle of these extremes.
Say what you want about Tesla. This is an amazing feature.
George Washington would have a stroke seeing this
Honestly, I am all in for the full self-driving capability. However, I personally feel that certain people should be able to have access to this feature. It can be elderly people who really needs to drive or get somewhere or those with superior and clean driving records (i.e. zero DUIs in 5 year timespan, zero significant/major traffic violations (within 5 year timespan), and maybe over age of 25).
Rule/policy does not have to be exactly that, but I personally believe that people need to be fully capable and responsible to be able to use this feature and with good intentions. Many people either feel lazy and ignorant or even careless that many lives were lost or ruined due to oblivious drivers who cannot understand nor follow even the simplest traffic regulations.
Or even implement a thing where the longer you drive (with all clean or nearly clean slate/record) along with proof of safe driving practices (?), the more discount (or feature) the FSD can be offered to you.
Just my thought as I feel certain people should NOT have access to this feature in the first place
People who have DUIs should not be allowed to drive without FSD, FSD should be allowed to not allow them to control the car, they're irresponsible and should never be allowed to guide a 2 ton machine.
It would never work well in india..the streets are always full with shops stalls and people walking or running
Exactly .....we have goats and cows on roads .... At the same time other people who thinks they own the road drive very fast and bad so it will be more dangerous for Tesla to handle this situation ....
This is the type of chick that pays $15 for asparagus water.
Fact
Just so you know it still is in beta so it’s for testing. It’s not 100% stable yet and definitely still has issues so be sure you are able to take over whenever and not have too much trust in it.
What do you think about this feature? Would you like to try Tesla Full-Self Driving Beta?
it's cool but I have a question-in case of a accident, does it prioritise the safety of the owner or the pedestrians?
I didn't get a Tesla☹️
What version is your car on?
In a nutshell she has a Tesla.
😮terrific 😮I wish I could have that one sooner ❤
You hella rock, Marina. That's incredible.
I can’t wait to get the update for mine
I tried it yesterday. I needed to get home by using a freeway. No problem it got me on the freeway changed lanes. Then it wanted to do this, put me on a truck route. No thank you. That particular truck route is very dangerous. A man driving a regular truck was hit by a semi truck after one of the trailer tires had a blowout. He got sideswiped it flipped over his truck. He was ejected and killed.
My daughter used it coming home from the store. She had the navigation on to take her home. She was approaching a intersection where the car had to turn left and left only. But her car got in the right turn lane which happened to be a right turn ONLY lane. It would not get back in the left lane to take her home. Neither one of us like it.
I would never pay $12,000 thousand dollars for it even if I was in love with it.
I rented a Tesla last month, and I absolutely loved this feature. The Tesla technology is superior to anything else I have seen. My only complaint is that I had my hands gently on the steering wheel the whole time, and the Tesla made me move my hands every so often. I didn't think I should have to do that, but I guess I could have fallen asleep with my hands on the wheel, so I get it.
it is amazing!!!!!
What do you do for a living? $2600/ month day care and $10,000 for Tesla add on feature 😧 Perhaps I should be doing something other than watching YT shorts rn 😂
A total dream 💖 if you tried to do that where I live, you’d crash 3 mins after you start the car
And you know that how, I wonder.
@@jamillikan because COMMON SENSE. I live in México, specifically in a poorly designed town, the streets are maze-like, there are dogs everywhere and that’s not the main problem, but the people driving. No one respects stop signs, always on a rush and above speed limit, not to mention the literal HOLES 🕳️ on the pavement
Her: Heading to a nearby store
Also her: it drove for 20 minutes
It’s just a Level 2 driver assist feature. You’re responsible for the mistakes it makes and failing to intervene and take over in critical situations might be considered negligence.
Autopilot works in those empty streets that you're on. It's incredibly dangerous and not ready for prime time. My 2022 Tesla's autopilot just gets confused in L.A. traffic, it's within inches of causing an accident every time I turn it on, with last second unpredictable lane changes and braking in busy lanes. Even the standard self drive is kind of spotty compared to my older 2018 Mercedes' Distronic +. That car is also much more comfortable and solid.
i am a car enthusiast
I like the concept of a dead dinosaur being set on fire to make fuel
Self driving is getting there!!! Just a few more years!!!!!
If you’d read about FSD when buying, like anyone doing their due diligence would do, you would have discovered that the beta wasn’t released to everybody from the beginning and only those that showed exceptional driving standards were allowed access after buying, with full release to the general public happening at a later date as the software improved.
Ergo, no reason to get upset that it wasn’t active when you received the vehicle.
The government can hack and take you straight to the police station😂😂
This seems bombastic for all the delivery drivers of the world. I want a Tesla transit van that would make van life really interesting
Kids in the future
“What is a steering wheel?”
Take me to the King vibes. Nope. I’ll just drive myself.
😂😂😂 underrated comment
To me, true self-driving is when I can sleep during a ride and not worry about crashing. Until then, it's a fantastic achievement but not quite ready yet.
Death trap
So if you're drunk and using this feature, is it really a dui?
It will keep the value of your car. Your part of the greatest revolution in transportation history! Don't use in bad weather yet. It's learning. It'll be done in four years
That's awesome 🤩😍
This would be useful for long roadtrip especially if you are by yourself.
My Tesla in Ireland has the corroding edition
She is basically calling us non rich without calling us non rich 😂
Just be careful for approaching cars. If a car suddenly & aggressively cuts to your lane, please hold the streering wheel and prepare to brake.
You're no longer allowed to take your hands off the wheel or eyes off her road.
If you have to take control how are you gonna do a complete turn around with a steering wheel like that?
I just want to know when I'll be able to sleep behind the wheel. It still seems pointless if I have to be ready to take control at any given moment
In Canada it's $16000! Still worth it though
It’s 12,000 now autopilot
What are some mechanical or technical issues that have come up with the teslas? How much to fix? Or does it hardly ever need fixes?
love it, big thumbs up
Imagine he late and having to get ready but your car drives itself
You think the car is driving by itself and you fall asleep and never wakes up!
the car would pull over if you dont put hands on it for a long time
In Russia, the car drives you
Be careful with your statements. you need to pay close attention when using FSD think of a 16 year old driving. FSD still makes mistakes so my advice is keep your hands close to the wheel and pay very close attention and ready to take over.
I’m not a hatter I drive FSD and I think it is a absolutely amazing feature. So please pay attention and enjoy the ride.
I do not mean to be disrespectful I just want every body to stay vigilant and safe
Does FSD activate the turn signals or not?
Do you need drivers license to use FSD?
Which module is this? Thank you
I am 18 and still cant believe that car is driving itself. Amazing, i remember when i was 9, i thought about it and now it is real, full auto pilot for vehicle
keep your hands on the wheel
It’s the highway. People are not realizing that it’s the highway that’s making all the difference. It performs very well on highway driving and it will be the first place it’s legal to go level 4. Probably within a year or so. This will mean you get to the highway and then set it on and done have to touch anything until a quarter mile from your exit.
Linked Tesla Semis will probably be allowed level 5 highway only within the next 5 years changing the way we ship entirely. Imagine if safety systems allowed long distance drivers to get 3 hours of sleep while on the road. It could change everything. It would mean shipping would be 500 mile blocks with 30 minute charges continuously. It will Change the whole game.
does it stop for cats & pups? does it put on blinkers? does it stop quick if you see your homie so you can pull up. does it read your mind if you want to go for a random cruise & have no destination?
Self indulgence alive, as Haitians and children starve. How about everyone checking out Feed My Starving Children?..
It’s called a bus or a train, you might of heard of them before.
that's amazing
I wanna get the Model X but I think imma go for the Model 3 performance first.
Reminds me of the early TV remotes that had 2 feet of wire to the VCR that you’re sat 6 away from. Clever, but in reality pointless. Road’s aren’t airspace, there are too many variables that the software just isn’t capable of accounting for. Theres a reason most countries are a long way from legalising autonomous driving.
I don’t really enjoy fsd, enhanced autopilot is just perfect enough
if this does become a thing will we still need a drivers license?
what model is the car
