Shakin' Stevens live at the Torwar Hall, Warsaw, Poland Oct. 6, 1985.
Phil Bowdery (production manager) : We went behind the Iron Curtain - to communist Poland. It was a strange place and full of those experiences that make you realize how much you take for granted in your daily life. There was a running joke that if you left $1m in cash and a packet of toilet rolls in a locked room, you’d come back to find the $1m still there but the toilet rolls gone. One of the guys from the Polish production office had never seen an orange before. We gave him one of ours but he didn’t know what to do with it. - (Source : 2014, lecture to students in the Elgar Room, Royal Albert Hall, London.)

First time i saw him was in London playing Elvis in the middle years and then he brought out This Ole house and i became a big fan. I still love his songs got the greatest hits on dvd and the 3 cd set. Luvky got to see him about 4 times in the 80s as Shaky.

Artista eccezionale, successo strameritato, questi concerti sono stressanti ma Shaky li supera brillantemente, dovrebbero dargli il tempo di farsi una doccia e cambiarsi a circa metá spettacolo, lo dico per lui, avere un pó di refrigerio.....Bravo Shaky ❤❤
