Man you guys smacked that customer upon the back of his neck! lol good stuff
Thanks for always sharing all the useful content Phil . Me and everyone else watching appreciate each and every video.
i am me to
Nice refresher on some of the basics. Thats what I love about detailing, is the trial and error and finding a method that works for you, until of course you find a better method.
I always appreciate your videos and knowledge. Your methods work and that is the bottom line. I like how your pressure washer setup is so accurate in the jams. My setup has a stronger psi which means a 40 degree tip and less accuracy. As always great work and efficiency. Thank you!
Quality video as usual man. You literally show step by step how you guys do everything. I love it.
Thanks man!
Love that you are out there making everything better.
Thanks man
Another great video. I love how you focus on what needs to be done and what is being paid for. You do what is needed to get the results that were expected by the customer based on their budget. I started off wanting to overkill everything just to show what I could do. And most times those people would have been happy with an all in one or just a polish or wax.
I’ve learned a lot from you and need to order on of your hoodies.
Thanks so much.
Totally man! 😎👍🏼
Well said Phil 👍🏼
Thanks Phil yes time is $ so very important and helpful love your channel
Never thought to vacuum out the brush I’m going to use that a ton now!
The best detail channel that keeps it simple and gets the job done right. Not all this go buy this and that and do all this long process just for the vehicle to look the same. Way to go wifey and Phil. Miranda Detail rocks
Thanks!!
Been binge watching your guys videos and I appreciate the knowledge. I’m still trying to get rid of my ‘enthusiast’ mindset since I finally decided to start my own business. I can see how that enthusiast mindset I have really slows my process down. Hope to get as efficient as you guys one day. Stay blessed 💯
You can do it! 😎👍🏼
Amen thank you for this valuable teaching that I decide on my business
Nice nice, I like your videos, keep it straight and real...
Great video Phil
Taking notes as always!
Once more a great video and great content.
I do believe this is one of the Best detail vids i have seen
Thanks.
I just received my MC 1385 steam cleaner.... I can't wait to use that bad boy. Hopefully I won't mess up on the interior
Love the titanium fusions
End result is what matters 👏👏
155th like 🚙💨no skipping of advertisements 😊 End result is what matters most! That’s the Miranda detailing principle Ⓜ️☑️
Nicely done, you guys have it dialed in.
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
I really like how you think because we as auto detailer we should not care or think about what others think, because it’s our own business and no one provides for us, but us. And your process does saves time and what you explained I appreciate it.
Thanks 😎👍🏼
Your welcomes thank you
About the wax, maybe you will fund it useful. I use gyeon wetcoat, just spray it on the pannel before rinsing off and its like a ceramic coating for few months. I applied it to my own car and I love it honestly
Hi. Oh yeah that stuff is awesome.
ua-cam.com/video/UX512SzJdUU/v-deo.html
But I use it more for maintenance on coated vehicles and not as a stand alone sealant. For most of my full details I machine apply sealants since it helps gloss up the paint and remove any marring that may occur from the claying step.
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
Always enjoy the content! Happy Halloween 🎃!
3:40 Not many people think for themselves and only use one bucket for washing most believe the hype and use two buckets for no concrete reason. Great to see another detailer using reason and logic and also detailing in the same state as well. Semper Fi🎩
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
Great video: I am learning a lot from watching your videos.
Awesome!
Pre rinsing does make a difference but if you use a APC as a pre rinse it's less of a different and safer to help cool the panels and delays the chemicals from drying. On nasty vehicles I use dark fury 6:1 and cover the car and immediately rinse and hand wash, never had an issue.
I enjoy your videos for the information and entertainment value and I get the biggest kick from the kitty's meow when you ask for new subscribers.
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks for all your info! Hoping some day I can get into some paying jobs!
You’re welcome!! 😎👍🏼
each and evry one has his way of doing it and a personal opinion
that is human cause we don t have the same tools or garage
only basic rule is get the dirt of the car before you touch it
i go to the coin wash if i drove a long distance
and you have a business but you still enjoy what you do and give a small extra sometimes
and hope you rested
Awesome
Great Video. I did not see a link for the fabric cleaner you used. Thank you so much!!!
Hi. Oh sorry about that. Here it is

12:50. It sounds like your wheel spoke brush is somehow hooked up to your pressure washer. Every time you use it, you can hear the engine running and when you’re cleaning the tire and wheel well with a different brush, there’s no noise.
That’s hilarious. The timing was just right for that to happen.😎🤣👍🏼
Got it. Sorry, I checked out your product line below. 👍
Cool! 😎👍🏼
That car looks good Phill
Delicious 😂 You ever try just running super clean unldiluted in your foam cannon? Wonder what the out the front dilution would be….
I haven’t yet. I’m sure it would be SUPER THICK! 😎👍🏼
Nice work 👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
What do you guys use, for your pre-soak, in your pump sprayer? In the beginning phase? I know it’s an APC, but what name specifically? I want to start doing that. I normally rinse with my Powerwasher, then foam MR. Pink, and wash. I want a good pre cleaner, before I wash. Thanks guys. Great work.
Phil.....i don't like pre rinse with just water, but with strong high ph foam
I don't like pre apc the wheels but doing them on next step
I don't like pressure wash door jambs but only use just hose
BUT
As the ROCK ... Sais...
IT DOESN'T MATTER..........
Everyone has his own.likes and process witch fits in his world...
Only the results are matter ....
Keep up...have a nice week sir
Totally true man! Thanks for sharing. Love the Wyclef and Rock Compilation! 😎
Black Adam i saw last week.....i grew up here in Greece with Hulk Hogan, Warrior, and Antre the Giant...even we had toys of them
So cool!
Hey, love your channel and new to detailing you’ve helped so much! I was curious because I know you have a demineralized water treatment, and don’t have to worry about water spots.
However if we only have access to hot water and live in a hot climate, how would you recommend cleaning door jambs?
Hi. Thanks! We only use DI water for the rinsing stage on maintenance details. The rest of the time we use our regular water. But it’s honestly not bad at all. You can still use hot water in a hot climate on the Jambs. At least the sun will not dry them to quickly because they are in the jambs.
I thought I hated fabric seats until now. Alcantara interior. I despise it lol. I bought the car with 2000 miles on it but the previous super wealthy owner cleaned the Alcantara incorrectly and let it sit for 4 years. The fibers are broken and won't sit up plush. So now the 2 door armrests and center console trim replacements are going to cost me $600 to $700. Maybe I'll change my mind after I have new material to take care of from day 1.
Hey Phil! Yet another cool video from Miranda Detailing!! Questions...I am getting a small SPTA polisher like the one you used in this video. Can it be used to apply compounds? I want to remove the light swirls from my paint. In your opinion what is the best pad to use to achieve that? Lastly, do your customers mind how you describe their vehicles?
Hi. Thanks.
So that little polisher is more of a wax spreader. It doesn’t have the power to actually remove swirls. I would stick with the larger 15mm SPTA Cordless polishers that we always use. For heavy swirls you will need a microfiber pad but for minor swirls an orange lake country medium pad will work fine.
🤣usually our customers with really nasty vehicles know it, I have never had anyone get upset at me for saying their vehicle is nasty.
Yes I want some products
Hey their please I'm looking for some hands on to put me on the right track about detailing , I'm soon starting my auto -detailing and would like to make sure I'm ready to go , if you know who has these classes please send me an email with the information. I appreciate all detailers and a godly thanks to you.
Learn from experience! Thanks, Phil!
Forgive Me if I've asked this before: Can You use APC diluted on a coated car that's dirty? Maybe hasn't been washed in a week or two? Finally, how often do You do a de-con wash on a coated car? Iron x? Thank You
Hi. Great question. I will only do a strong pre wash or APC rinse on a coated vehicle if it hasn’t been washed in a few months. Usually a few weeks it’s not that bad, depending of course on how much it was driven and where. I only use a deconing shampoo or tar remover or iron remover on coated vehicles IF I notice it going flat and not beading as it should.
From personal experience, More effective than Chemical decon or an APC rinse on a coated vehicle is washing the car every 2 to 4 to whatever is needed months with Carpro Descale. It's unbelievable how well that stuff brings back coatings. And try Gtechniq Citrus Foam as a pre wash. Completely coating safe and is my favorite pre wash / Foam to date. The cleaning power is impressive for a PH neutral product
Hey man love the video! How does the car stay wet for the entire wash and clay process? My cars dry up so fast even in the morning when it isnt so hot
Hi. Well with two people it’s easy to just have one go around and keep spraying the vehicle and keep it wet.
Hi Phil I love your videos I wanted to ask what do you think of brake buster to clean the rims and tires. Or is there a better product on the market. Thanks from Montreal Canada.
Hi. Thanks for yeah Brake buster is great for medium to lightly dirty wheels and tires. For really dirty wheels and tires you may need to step it up to something stronger.
6:49 I've never seen IK foamer working fine ;/ Never.... so I prefer GLORIA FM10 or FM30 Unbreakable since years,
Really?! Interesting. I’ve had this for about 6 months before it starting doing this. But it was just clogged. I replaced the foam insert and now it’s back to perfect.
Great content again. Thanks sharing your work. Can I use a pump sparyer for the 1:10 super clean will be effective if not in foam sparyer?
Thanks. Oh yeah we used to use a pump sprayer for years with super clean. Works great also.
Check out the Marolex hand foamers. They're not cheap but they're phenomenal. I've bought mine from Luxury Microfiber here in the states.
Nice video
Thanks!

Love those shades!! What ya wearing??
Thanks man! I got them locally at TJ Maxx!
Do you have a preferred sealant or two that applies easily with a polisher? I like xtreme Solutions Magnum Wax for this purpose but looking to try other things.
Try this bit.ly/3CMW10R It was developed by us and Phoenix EOD
Great video!
No vynil or later gloves lol?
Also what do you use for windows
Thanks. I can’t wear gloves my hands get contact dermatitis really bad. I just shave to wash my hands often. For glass any glass cleaner works but my wife swears by stoners glass cleaner in the aerosol can.
Thanks man!
Hi Phil, where did you get the bucket caddy for the brushes and accessories

Are you all preferring the 25 degree pressure washer tip for most things? It seems like the stream was really tight for washing out the jambs and I was just thinking "That doesn't look like the pattern I see with my 40 degree tip". I was thinking of trying a 25 degree tip out with the same orifice size as my 40 degree and was just curious.
Hi. Yes! It’s a 25degree tip. We switched over to it about a year ago and love it. Our pressure washer isn’t so powerful that it would cause any issues. 😎👍🏼
Fun to see just a wax application. Doesn't always have to be a coating. Did you protect windshield? Hi wife.
Thanks. I forget what I put on the windshield. But I have been using AMDetails Rain recently. It’s awesome stuff.
Does the pre wash strip any waxes or sealants the car mag have ?
Hi. Yea that’s the point of the initial cleaning. For maintenance details on vehicles with protection this is what we do ua-cam.com/video/oUu-s1GLagU/v-deo.html
I do a one bucket method without and grit guard and have multiple towels and never put the dirty towel back in the bucket. I usually use 2-4 towels per car. I use the same method for rindless.
How long would you say the whole cleaning process took you and your wife for this car? seems like you knocked it out in about an hour. Also, great video and information. I am starting my car detailing business today!
Hi. Jobs like this take us a full morning about 3-4 hours or so.
What was that pink wax you were using with that SPTA polisher?
Hi. Minute 23:51. It was a special edition JaxWax Spray wax that came in the Detail Glovebox Monthly Detail Products subscription.
When you spray the door jams does it damage the speakers?
Hi. No. We don’t spray directly I tot he speakers. It’s as much water as if you opened the door in the rain. Plus car speakers on the doors are sealed and can get wet anyway. So it’s not a problem
Do you mainly use 25 degree nozzle tip? I was using 40 for a while but think 25 is giving better results
Hi. Yeah I switched to this 25 degree Mtm nozzle and love it.
What gun and nozzle is used at very beginning as she is spraying off the car thanks
Hi. I have the links in the description , but I'll put them here also.

hi, what camera r u using ? looks great even indoor shoot
Hi. It’s my Canon m50 with a 16mm 1.4f Sigma Lens.
🐐
Hello Phil and Jess. The one bucket with pre-wash APC, can that still work if using snow foam instead of APC.
Hi. It depends on how dirty the vehicle is. Also it depends on the ph and cleaning power of the snow foam. If the vehicle is not that bad you should be fine. Analyze each vehicle and determine what each one needs. 😎👍🏼
@@MirandaDetailing Thank you Phil.
Super clean now for the Apc? What happen to the KC snow soap
Yeah. We go back and forth using different products. Flavor of the day.
@@MirandaDetailing how is super clean compared to the other one I was going to by the KC one but now I’m in predicament
I use different products to give people the chance to see that you can make many different products work for you. Super clean is cheap and can be found locally. The KCX products are more expensive but work just as well. It all depends on what you’re doing.
Is there any maintenance needs for the IK Foam Pro 12 itself? Do we need to wash clean it out and run clean water through it like foam cannons when we are done using them?
Hi. The only thing that will need replacing is the foam tips after a few months of regular use. But that’s about it. It’s an easy replacement.
@@MirandaDetailing Thanks! I did watch your last video and I made sure to watch the entire video before asking this question. I didn’t hear anything mentioned about maintaining the unit. Thanks again for your advice and all your hard work making these great video that I’ve learned a lot from! Have a Happy New Year!
@trd3786 you’re welcome sir!!
What soap do you use in your foam cannon?
Hi. We use a variety of shampoos. I have some linked in the description.
try using Carpro Pearl inside on the trim have found it to be awesome works great on engine bay plastics
Hi. Thanks. Oh yeah I used to use Perl all the time. Great stuff. I’m always trying new things.
What kind of chemicals was in the pre wash foamer?
Hi. it depends on what detailing we are doing. For initials details we use an APC like Super Clean 1:10.
Check out these videos for more info.

Hi. Check out the links in the description of the video. I have it listed there. 😎👍🏼
Can you tell me what was the APC mix in the IK foaming
Hi. It’s 1:10
Thanks but what exactly product did you use
I usually just use Super Clean
That background song is fire what is the name of it!????
Hi. I have the name of the songs and artists on screen at the beginning of each song. Check the video again and notice when the song starts. 😎👍🏼
i started my mobile detailing llc but havent even started and i get a letter in the mail saying that i have to pay the state money due to the fact that i need to hang a wage fee for all employees. did u also have this?
Hi. Sorry I have never heard of that. Each state is different also, so some may have other rules, fees, etc.
Dear sir, on average....for this size car ..how much time needs this service?
( I understand that the time can very specially if the inside is ...bad...you know...the interiors are like.....time/profit busters 😅😅😅)
Thanks a lot, great content keep up ,great videos
On average vehicles like this can take us about 4 hours.
Thanks sir
Phil will one foam pad be enough to apply wax on the whole body of the car?
Hi. Oh yeah. Easily. In fact I used to wax two cars a day like this with one pad. If the pad gets saturated just blow it out.
@@MirandaDetailing Thank you very much
What so you use for car smell interior ?
For interior odors that are really bad we refer customers to a local company that does interior repairs and restoration.
@@MirandaDetailing I was asking about like a spray , like chemical guys new car smell ?
Couldn’t you get the same outcome by rinsing the car with a pressure washer then using a rinseless wash which would be way more efficient then having to keep going back and rinsing after washing
Hi. Great question. With some vehicles we could get away that....however most of the vehicles we are detailing are so bad that we need to go through these methods. I have tried rinse-less washing on vehicles like this in the past and wasn't really happy with the results. It wasn't faster or more efficient and we kept having to go over areas that needed more cleaning. But its cool, everyone has their methods that work for them and the vehicles they work on. Out process is so fast and efficient for us...thats why we continue to do what we do. 😎👍
have you ever considered using a squeegee and dawn dish soap to do the interior windshield? I saw another detailer do it and I think it might be a good idea to decrease the amount of streaks.
Hi bye ha I have tried that. It’s ok on the side glass but for the interior windshield and back glass it’s frustrating to use. I simply use these methods and it’s much easier and faster for us.
@@MirandaDetailing okay, I was just curious. I haven't tried it yet, I just saw the video the other day. I can never seem to get the window clear, it'll look clear at first then when it fogs up it's horrible.
Name of the cordless polisher please?
amzn.to/3X6mwZH
Won't let me upload and download the detail form
Are you looking at the forms in the Shop section?
mirandadetailing.com/shop-2/
Hi Phil, how about trying a No-bucket wash process to reduce the risk of scratching even more? I.e. Apply the shampoo using a foam cannon (I use Adams shampoo), then use multiple mitts to wash the paint. Wash 2-3 panels with the first mitt, toss it into a bucket, grab a second clean mitt and wash another section, toss it…..and so on. Obviously it’s not totally risk free , but arguably safer than the one mitt and two bucket and grit guard method. Yes, there are more mitts to put in the washing machine afterwards, but there’s no faffing filling and emptying buckets. Just food for thought😊
some people don’t do a thorough pre contact wash and that leaves more dirt on the surface. that probably makes more of a difference than worry about what method the contact wash is because the dirt should be minuscule by the time you get to contact wash
Hi. Yeah I have tried that method. In fact my friend Brian from Apex does that. It’s a great method also. Our pre wash or APC rinse method also drastically reduces the risk of any sort or particles causing any marring or swirls. So same results, different methods. 😎👍🏼
Exactly! That’s the point I try to make with our pre wash or APC rinse method. 😎👍🏼
🎸❤️🔥👍🏿❤️🔥🎸
The download form don't work mate
My website is being redesigned. It may take a few a days to work out the bugs. Sorry. Come back in a few days and check it out.
that front and rear bumper paint match is pretty awful with zero blend...cheap body shop special right there.

You should wash those mats by scrubbing them up and lost it on video lol
Post*
🤔 what do you mean?
@@MirandaDetailing post it on your video I meant error by Siri wash them up
If you are going to make a video focusing on efficiency, I would suggest avoiding endlessly repeating yourself throughout; we get that you are a business and part of efficiency is doing what the vehicle needs and not doing what the vehicle doesn’t need, and that this is your particular version of the process. No need to say this over and over again; at some point it becomes borderline insulting to viewers. Do you charge your clients the same price whether you perform a specific step or not, say chemical decon? How do you communicate these “discretionary” elements of your service packages in a way clients accept? Thank you for posting this video.
Hi. Sorry you saw it that way, your entitled to your opinion. Repetition is important in teaching but not everyone likes that. I answer hundreds of questions from new Detailers about these topics all the time so I have to repeat certain elements of the process. As far as communication with the customer, that’s the most important part of the service. We always have a discussion about what needs to be done and what doesn’t need to be done. Like I mentioned in the video (I guess I’m repeating again…part of the teaching process) I don’t do things arbitrarily, like other detailers on UA-cam. I also have an acknowledgment form I have customers read and sign. If someone is bringing their vehicle to a trusted Detailer, it’s because they either don’t have experience or knowledge to do it themselves without wasting lots of time doing unnecessary things. Our prices will only increase if the vehicle is trashed. It would be unwise to charge less then what our starting prices are even if the vehicle is in great condition. That’s something that real detailing business understand.
@@MirandaDetailing I do believe that you are a real detailing business, so you should not feel the need to justify yourself there. Or for that matter imply that others who may have a different approach than you are not a real business. They may not be sufficiently PROFITABLE lol, if that is what you mean. Glad to see you are fully up-front transparent with the client on the discretionary aspects. I would be annoyed as a client if I felt I was being charged for something that I did not receive. Explaining it as “outcome-based” vs. “task-based” is a good approach, as is having clients sign forms that cover this. I like your approach on the forms. It make perfect sense to have a minimum price regardless, which you can adjust upwards based on poor condition or selected options; discounts are not best practice in the detailing industry, it is a trap to be avoided. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks. I appreciate that. 😎👍🏼
