- Wanted to try something new so let me know what you all think in the comments! They're a lot of legendary weapons in the game so in this one, I wanted to take a look at Jakobs specifically. Jakobs is known to be a fan favorite when it comes to manufacturers so I figured I'd start with the best. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy it!

It's always a joy when you find Jakobs legendaries in the Arms Race. Though I don't use them in base game, I'm really fond of Flood and Companion. Effective and ammo efficient.
I remember finding a freaking Hellwalker with U-Rad during a run of Arms Race. I was like "Yep. I got this."

The Bekah is an S-Tier, not even a debate. No matter how much BS you have to go through to get it, it's an S-Tier period. I've done entire Maliwan True Takedowns with only the Bekah. It's one of the best ARs in the game since the buff a few weeks ago. Especially with the Infernal Wish being a thing now.

I feel like, Jacobs guns are good for mobbing, but fall off a cliff for end game bossing due to most of them relying on crit and being non elemental.
Also most of their guns don’t have splash.
Nah you are completely wrong (at least on Flak and zane)
i mean on moze yeah jakobs dont make sense to use on her. on flak jakobs weapons are king and zane he kinda makes all guns work anyways but yeah. even some amara builds jakobs just work because of their high dmg output.
@@pumpkinssuger4422 nah you can make anything king on moze I've made a jakobs moze build were I use the 500% elemental nova too trigger splash DMG so yea you can make jakobs king on moze it just takes a bit of thinking outside the box
@@maddog5284 thats actually a really interesting idea for a moze build but what i was saying was that when you think of the characters certain weapons or just manufacturers come to mind and just make sense and for moze jakobs doesnt make as much sense on her outside of a few weapons. as youve said you can definitely make builds with them for her but yeah.

This video is a great idea, I don't think tiermaker is sharing your selected list though, only sharing the template.
Also not being able to see the name of the weapon within tiermaker is rough, would be more useful to have a typed-up list
I swear bird of prey is B- or C+ tier. The projectile is insane
I love how accurate the tier list is as a whole (probably my favorite on UA-cam)
But as someone who basically uses only snipers I feel like they could've been given more love. But for the average player this list is perfect.
Corrections: the cocky bastard does+100% shock every crit don't need to ads
The headsplosion ricochets 3 shots which is insane for mobbing like the wagon wheel.
He is so wrong about the Bird of Prey.... To put the Nimble Jack and Hand of Glory above it is an absolute joke

Since you need to build around them (because of how they work and how the franchise plays)

Great Video Man! I'm going to speak on the Bird of Prey with you just a little. That gun can roll with 61% extra Crit damage. It can be an absolute monster! Unlike a lot of the snipers in Borderlands 3 this one has a ton of variant parts and really, it's those parts that will determine how this weapon performs for each build.

You can use anything early game. Thats the entire concept of power creep. The further along you get the less things become viable. Do you know anything about how video games work?
@@sirloin7633 No, please teach me, what is a power creep? What does viable mean in the context of a video game? And what do you mean by early game? Is that during the story mode, or post story leveling to the level cap, or is that in when you are still farming for your gear at mayhem 11, but don't have it yet?
Some weapons, like the SkekSil might not be the best pistols for later on, but you can refarm them in multiple elements on-level quickly and easily whenever you find yourself without a good weapon. It is a great way to give yourself a power trip even bigger than dunking on youtube commenters, so I think I'll go do that now. Perhaps you should too.

My first legendary was the Conference Call, as the item of the day in the vending machine you fix for Marcus, and this was right after I beat Shiv.
The bekah was good even on mayhem 4 but it died out after the new mayhem modes came out, i remember using it back on level 50 with 100 weapon damage after action skill end ...
After Borderlands 3 is said & done they should just bring back everything they nerfed into the ground especially the ase elemental extra projectiles.
Agreed but it won't happen. The recursion Nerf and the 'elemental projectile' nerf were made to fix stability issues. They won't roll them back. Previous Gen consoles just couldn't handle it.
Maybe the modding community on PC can do smthg about that but gearbox won't.

Garcia is my favourite weapon in the game rn but I will admit it is outshone by many things
Quite late, but even though it's not a legendary, the dakota from the bounty of blood DLC is really good, not better than the hellwalker but it's definitely better than other jakobs shotguns
I'd love to see this with Maliwan!!!
The Ionic Disruptor is one of the best snipers in the game. Not as good as the Skullmasher with most characters, but with playing dirty it is better, and with the shield skipping property it's 200% better than the Skullmasher for Zane.
Also, the Stonethrower can be a beast for mobbing.
Disruptor can't kill some enemies though.

only thing that is missing from this list is the bite size masher which is incredible odd that we don't have access to that definitely way better then the duc

id say a tks wave with 25 pellets is probably stronger than the hellwalker only if you hit all pellets. but if you dont get the 25 pellet version its not stronger at all. its essentially the same as a stagecoach in terms of parts so it can be quite the farm but at least it has a dedicated source unlike the stagecoach.

I always end up farming after watching stuff like this. Although I do have most of the top tier ones already. I feel like I need to do a full Jakbos FL4K build at this point.

@@RestAssuredYT I tried it out. Farmed some killer guns. It's really strong so far can solo anything and loving it too. Good replacement for my blast master Moze which has been my go to for so long.
YEP!!! I agree jacobs moze is actually very dumb,stupid, ignorant,doesn't even make sense STRONG!!! FLOOD TRICKSHOT AND HELLWALKER are my favorite!!! Can solo anything in the game !!!

Everyone goes Maggie but after they added mayhem 10 it became awful things don't die they take like 2k shots from it
Nah your completely wrong the Maggie shreds but is not the best at bossing
Maggie is a classic and it's still pretty good, that's why I have it in S!

Bird of Prey one shots most mobs and you put the Hand of Glory above it because of "nostalgia"..... What!!! I ran the Maliwan Takedown with easy with the Bird of Prey(except Wotan) Try that with the Nimble Jack and Hand of Glory... Wow,Just shocked..

Bird Of pray can 1 shot almost anything, you can get the birds hitting for 100's of millions too (at least on Fl4k)
Like you said it is Rest Assureds video, only feedback i would say is ranking guns that you have not used much or don't understand the mechanic should not be ranked.
Eg. The ionic Disruptor it bypasses shields and armour but does no damage against targets without a health bar and can 1 shot every enemy with a health bar in the game
@@9Mtikcus call me crazy but on Amara I get more out of the Bird of Pery then I do the Unseen Threat

There is nothing in the game i can not beat with those 3 jacobs snipers (granted if no health bar the ionic disruptor falls off, and not a great choice on amar
@@9Mtikcus I use the Bird, Skullmasher and Monocle on Amara for one shots... Nothing else works as well
