Don't lie to yourself, all these so called "dlc" are initially part of the game but they cut them off for later for cash grab, and other strategic/economic reasons
@@MrTrueCaller619 What's the proof of this? The stories of the DLCs take place after the main one, and each has characters not involved in the main story whatsoever.
The Krieg DLC to me is alot of wasted potential. We still didn't get his relationship with Dr Samuels. And imagine if you had been in his mind when he found out about Maya . Or even hearing his reaction would have made me happy.
Yeah I was honestly expecting something completely different than what the story actually panned out to be. I figured it would be something like Krieg’s journey of catching up to the current borderlands timeline
Yeah, but, like mentionned in the vid, Covid did a lot to mess things up. Probably the best would have been to delay the dlc, so to have it completed. But I'm not sure investors were okay with the idea, and the fact that it would collide with the planned schedule of dlcs, season 2, etc.
I feel like the loot in the Krieg DLC was also a bit disappointing. Yes some the legendaries are effective, but this is gear made in the mind of Krieg. They should be the strangest and most unique items in the game, but most just feel like better versions of normal gear
Its also worth mention too that she not even in her teens either, they make it sound like that she still is buy she's not. I feel like people are forgetting that Borderlands 3 takes 6 to 7 years after Borderlands 2 there's literally a time jump in between game including the intro and ending of the Pre-sequel, tale from the Borderlands and even the Commander Lilith DLC which i have heard that it takes a year after Borderlands 2, which is why Vaughn is in that DLC.
@@Aswero21 what a surprise, hammerlock is gay, didn't notices that bfr hahaha jokes aside, they'd be best mechanical hand couple, hammerlock with his right arm, and gaige if her left arm, but Wainwright is Cool
You are definitely not alone in this, Coyote Gray. The Handsome Jackpot DLC ends so abruptly, but has an excellent payoff in the end. Though it does seem as though you are somewhat cheated on loot crates.
I quit watching this as soon as he said he doesn't do the side quests because they don't add anything to the character or story. This guy doesn't know near as much as he thinks he does about Borderlands.
Handsome jackpot had one of the BEST atmospheres in bl3, maps have killer designs and aesthetics, top it off with outstanding music that perfectly compliments the setting
The model for Jack looks incredible, and I'm glad they got Dameon Clarke back for the role. Borderlands 1, 2 and the Pre-Sequel Remastered with these graphics would look beautiful.
Borderlands 1 is really far from the rest of the franchise by design. Fall damage, weird vehicles, unimpactful skills and skill trees. Would take a remake to make it work even if you upgrades the graphics.
@@melsmelsenson6046 I only just finished it for the first time this year. But it doesn't seem fair to knock it down this hard; considering it was the first of the series.
@@yepyep9656 been hoping for this for a while. like a handsomer collection that includes all the games and dlc's, but also brings the older games up to current standards in terms of QoL and resolution fps etc. it'd be a day one purchase for me
I would play an entire DLC around Mancubus. Freddie was my other favorite new character. His love of bots and 80s style could have been so much more than it was.
Exactly, Tim Story! Admittedly it was quite a surprise when he betrayed me in-game. In the moment, it is quite surprising but when you think about it Freddie's betrayal makes no real sense. Especially when Freddie sees that you are making alot of headway into going for Big Boy. It would of made quite alot more sense for Big Boy to use a series of mega bots to slow you down *then* use that Jack Bot for the final fight with him. The series of mega bot fights was alluded to when you went through the bot factory. I guess this would of made sense of Jack's AGI could of made an appearance in the Handsome Jackpot DLC. Such as it would of made for a very intriguing last gasp appearance for Handsome Jack. Him fighting for control of his once vaunted casino, him fighting Big Boy, and we, the Player, being attacked on all sides because neither of those turds are wanting to give us an inch as they fight each other to the death.
Bounty of Blood was probably my personal least favourite. There just wasn't any characters that I really gravitated towards or actually cared about. Even Rose's plan was similar to the warrior in BL2. The music didn't impress me like it did for the others and other than Vestige, I didn't find the environments too interesting either. The western feel was there the whole way through, I really liked the narrator and the new weapons were good but it was the only one of the DLCs that didn't have a mission, a main character, a map or bossfight that really stood out to me. It is by no means bad but it was the one I enjoyed the least out of the 4. My personal ranking is: Bounty of Blood 4th, Handsome Jackpot 3rd, Krieg's Fustercluck 2nd place and Guns, love and Tentacles a very clear 1st.
At least I got a funny moment while playing. Me, being super dramatic: I have slain gods and devils. You won't beat me. Me, a minute into the Ruiner fight: *incoherent death sounds*
Truly the guns love and tentacles dlc was the best. The characters, guns and story was by far the best. And Frickin hammerlock and Wainwright are the cutest couple in the world
My ranking would be Gun,love tentacle, blood & bounty, Krieg and then the Casino. Blood and bountys boss fight is def lowest tho, they were far to easy. Real pushovers. But idk how ppl can rank the Casino any higher than 4th. It was just a cheap trick to get easy likes really. Just bring something Handsome Jack related and you get ppl who enjoy it.
Yeeeeah Bounty of Blood was fantastic as far as guns and the villain but I didnt care much for it. For me its Bounty of Blood, Handsome Jack pot, Fuster Cluck then Tentacles, I could honestly flip Fuster Cluck and Tentacles
Krieg's DLC was a sad experience for me, the main story was great, but the lack of extra content really hurt it, not to mention that the main story could've been even better if the global situation wasn't chaotic. Kinda wish they delayed the content further for better quality.
@@noname-md6pw it was a huge fucking disappointment lol guns love and tentacles and handsome jackpot were the only good dlc’s in the game and they’re still worse than the claptastic voyage and most of bl2 dlc except for hammerlocks hunt
@@PancakemonsterFO4 Please, TK’s wave is so much worse than the hail ever was. While the way to use the hail is a bit off, once you get the hang of it, it can dish out some awesome damage.
Guns, love and tentacles is my favorite by far. My only gripe is how lame the bosses are, two of them are just harder mob fights and the only interesting one is the wendigo. They could have pulled any monster from lovecraftian fiction and made amazing bosses with those
I adored the dlc, the entire detective side plot was amazing, the bosses were lame but literally everything else I loved, I adore jakobs and hammerlock, and a dlc about them getting married made me so excited, and for me seeing gaige again was so fun
As someone, who really likes Hammerlock/Wainwright (maybe because it reminds me of me and my Boyfriend lol), i must say, i was so god damn hyped about that story
“the lack of side missions that were here” bro.. you must have forgot the Krieg DLC brought us the best side mission to ever exist in a BL game, “A Good Egg”
While I disagree with your choices, I do appreciate your more statistic-related view on all of them. I didn't like Bounty of Blood much, but I do agree with your views on the guns and the overall setting for the DLC.
Bounty of Blood was like 2/3rds boring shit with way too much dialogue, and then the cool “the Company’s weapon” plot that developed too late. Love & Tentacles had far more character, atmosphere, cool enemies, and intrigue throughout. The former felt like a bad Timesplitters dlc and the latter felt like Borderlands.
Lol I thought I was completely alone in thinking DLC3 was the best. I really enjoyed my first run through it, I enjoyed the new characters, I thought the side missions were really fun (especially the one where you return Titus' pet Bellik, having completed the side mission and then actually have her there in-town fighting alongside me while the Devil Riders attacked I thought was a really cool inclusion), obviously as mentioned the new Legendaries were amazing, and honestly I just loved the overall feel and atmosphere in every map. Busting into and wrecking up the Devil Rider base modeled after a bathhouse was a lot of fun, going through the Obsidian Forest with the new Bellik enemy type was a lot of fun, getting my hands on a powerful Flipper and mowing down everything in the Bloodsun Canyon was a lot of fun, all in all just a lot of fun. Tho the final boss could have been tougher. I took both Rose and the monster down in like under 3 minutes. I do like how the bounty is afterwards tho. It felt rewarding to actually complete the DLC and get that treasure room. Although Idk what it is about it, but I enjoyed the Handsome Jackpot a lot more than you gave it credit for. I enjoyed having the return of the Hyperion robots, and they actually gave me a reason to run through some maps with Corrosive weapons again. Beforehand I'd use every other element, but the second I saw Corrosive I'd trash it cuz Armored enemies were such a rarity in the base game. But that DLC plus the Hyperion section of the Krieg DLC gave me a reason to use Corrosive weaponry again. Plus I honestly just really loved the casino environment and feel of the DLC. It was a ton of fun running into the mimic slot machines and opening up the VIP rooms to get extra chests. I do wish it had better loot outside of the Seein Dead tho. I actually enjoyed my time with Krieg's DLC the least. The story and character growth of Krieg was good, but everything just felt off. Like I was constantly just treading old ground with a couple of interesting things here and there. Every enemy type was just copy-pasted from the base game except for the Bullet Riders. They really didn't take advantage of the "being inside a psycho path's mind" when it came to that, I mean for crying out loud the Claptastic Voyage had so many new enemy types with the Bugs, the Glitches, the Viruses, and the Security Protocal bots. And the bosses, even with my best gear, felt just waaaay too tanky. Especially Locomobius. At the time I didn't have the best Corrosive gear to handle a big Armored boss like that, so running out of ammo consistently, it took me about a half an hour or longer to whittle down their HP enough to beat them. So the Krieg DLC overall just gave me a bad first impression. I like what it added with the new guns and the character development for Krieg, but I'd only ever revisit it to farm certain gear or run through Vaulthalla now.
Bounty of Blood was a DLC I loved. The start with Rose made me like her and caused me to see her as cold-hearted when she put down her Devil. Then I saw the bounties and learned she was wanted, only for her to execute the Sheriff. And then... the Ruin. Fucking BEAUTIFUL climax.
I would like to point out that all the DLCs (including one made during a pandemic) have better storylines than the main game. Handsome Jackpot may have just been alright, but it was a breath of fresh air after the ending of the main story. It set a good par for the next three. Guns Love and Tentacles I think had the best concept, and I've never even read a Lovecraft story, but I recognized the influence right away. This specific brand of horror is a perfect juxtaposition to the sci-fi setting. And yeah there was something about a wedding. Bounty of Blood... I'll give it points for being different, but I was bored the entire time. The setting was kind of boring, the characters were uninteresting, the background music puts me to sleep. There wasn't anything objectively bad about it, I just didn't find it enjoyable. Fustercluck should have been delayed. So much lost potential. It's pretty obvious things were scaled back or cut outright. Objectively this should be the worst reviewed of the DLCs but it's getting a pass for the circumstances, and I can't fully support this mindset. I'll compliment the devs for their effort, but the end result just feels incomplete.
And it’s not like people would be angry if they delayed fustercluck it till later in the year so why not give yourself more time to give the dlc more of a chance
I loved handsome jackpot I don't get why everyone says it's decent, everything about it was amazing, and I genuinely appreciate gearbox for not ruining jack by giving him the god awful writing from the main story
Another awesome bit of bounty of blood, the narrator that was there the whole time spiced up everything alot, with the mystery and feeling like youre part of a bigger thing.
Yeah, when I first heard the narrator, I knew I was in for a great DLC. I especially like his line when you enter the crater's edge: "Some folks call me The Liar, on account of what transpired next..."
I really couldn't get myself to like the 'there's still good in him' two personality thing. It seemed like such a cop-out to make him inexplicably 'special' compared to other psychos. To me, he was always just a regular psycho who just happened to fall-in with the 'right' crowd as opposed to another bandit camp. Though generally speaking, I find when a character has a mysterious background, it's always more interesting when it stays mysterious; the reveal never lives up to expectation.
It's interesting how everyone list is different. I think that's good even, variety is the spice of life. personally I order them in release order. 1. Handsome Jackpot 2. Guns, love and Tentacles 3. Bounty of Blood 4. Fantastic Fustercluck
Bounty of blood Moxxis heist Fuster cluck Hammer lock Hammer locks was so boring I didnt finish bestimg it until the other day after completing the fuster cluck. The ONLY thing that made it worth playing at all was the pearl of ineffable knowledge.
I just have to put bounty of blood at the top because the nuke part. Find it to be the most epic thing that happened in the entire game and all the DLCs. Was done too well imo
I think Guns Love and Tentacles would’ve been the best if... 1. The final boss wasn’t a huge disappointment, you can’t show us a huge city-sized monster and then have us fight it’s heart. 2. The DLC wasn’t based around 2 boring characters (I actually liked hammerlock in BL2 but he’s just...dull in 3) getting married and Gaige being there for a few minutes rather than being a main character throughout. 3. The DLC was more fun to traverse. It felt like a chore to go around some of the areas and there’s so much of the maps that I didn’t explore because it was boring and there was no reason to.
The reason why i liked it is that i liked the intrigue and the mystique of the planet. Sure the boss really let us all down. I honestly didn't care at all about the "love" story in it. As eruptionfang said: it was all expected.
Wow, I literally agree with everything you said here. I play Moze as my main and my guns are 2 Flippers, a Lightshow, and a Beacon lol. I pretty much just use the Flippers. The only criticism I have is that you never mentioned the fantastic narrator for BoB. That was a huge part of what set this DLC apart and made it so special.
I think one of the amazing things about these DLC's is a really big variation in opinions which one is the best. I think most, if not everyone agrees that all of them are better than the core game itself, but still there is variation in which one is the best. My list: 1. DLC 4 (Krieg) (obviously because Krieg is my favorite character) 2. DLC 2 (Marriage) 3. DLC 1 (Jackpot) 4. DLC 3 (Bounty) For me I'm thinking like how I felt when I played the DLC's: basically this list is a list which avoke most emotions from me when playing these and how I liked their quirks. DLC2 was really emotional for me with Burton and opposite of you, I was really happy to see more of Hammerlocks and Wainrights relationship, especially as it is made with such a nice taste. DLC1 was just really lightgearted fun. In DLC3, I didn't connect at all with the new charatcers, though Rose was cool, but eventually I got the same feeling what was with Tyreen which I kinda felt was just lame and off-putting. Like we were chasing her but she was always 1 step ahead, she as so much more aware of the situation than us and eventually she got what she wanted, until the VH's stop her. But as I said, all of them were really good and I have played them all many times over and I still enjoy playing them. And I like to see some variations in opinions, which is great!
Rose is by far my favorite bl3 villain (I mean, that’s not saying too much but still!). I kept waiting for the odd joke here and there, the dry humor, but it never came. When she killed her devil I was like, “damn.”. Then she roles up for the plot twist and kills the sheriff and I’m like... “Damn!”. She just seemed so badass. I wish she did a bit more than just run away though after the prologue...
I don't know if anyone else is like this, but I though Bounty of Blood was so, so boring and unfun, until the very end of the dlc where it started to pick up more.
I think the only reason I liked it as much as I was is that I was playing Fl4k focused on kill skills so killing a devil gave me dumb amounts of movement speed allowing me to just bolt around like a crackhead. Made for some fun streams.
@@ianalden2227 uh is really good in bl3 Plp wanted it to be disgusting again Makes no sense why they would do that when they saw the gun as a problem in bl2
@@iialucardii4306 no I play mayhem 10. And to be honest, if youre complaining about UH in bl3, you probably cant build or aim. With a reply like that I believe you cant do both haha
How can you agree with all but one. If not first then where would it go. And the spot it takes moves the existing dlc somewhere else. Take that liberal
Once of my favorite aspects of the Western DLC is the fact that from the jump you feel out of place like you don't belong and the story plays with that unfamiliarness to create an atmosphere that guides you similar to how Frank Lloyd Wright designs his houses, that being total control of your experience but in this case and usually in the case for his projects to great success
The thing that sold me on that Hammerlock and Wain DLC was Gaige, I still hadn't unlocked artifacts yet, and I accidently landed into that DLC. Gaige was my first Vault hunter, and hearing her try her hand at Wedding plan was such a gas. More importantly, she mentions on so many occasions that she doesn't really have anyone outside of Deathtrap. She just sounds lonely. Would an Anarchy queen throw her hat at random career choices just to find a connection? Yeah, I totally bought that.
Personal Rankings: 1. Jackpot (9/10) 2. Guns, Love, & Tentacles (7/10) 3. Bounty of Blood (6/10) 4. Fustercluck (6/10 Bounty of Blood and Fustercluck were interesting but short. Guns, Love and Tentacles was great but had some dull moments. Jackpot was probably the best out of all 4, not only because of Jack (which is an actual villain [even tho he dead] vs. the Calypso Twins), but the environment was interesting and the side quests were good.
I’m so glad Jack’s dialogue in that dlc is still pretty quality compared to bl2 and tps. With how the writing of the main bl3 campaign went I was bracing for them to ruin his charm
I thought the side quest were a bit weak in jackpot honestly. Digby Vermouth just making you go all over the place. Lot of fetch quest feeling to them. I did love the atmosphere in it though.
@@PaulFurn89 Fair enough, I personally liked the sidequest of Digby, liked the character in general. We will never get another sidequest like Face McShooty though, such a long and tedious one.
Guns love and tentacles was worst for me. I had to leave mid boss fight came back minutes later and was completely fine. End game boss was a joke. I loved the Jackpot. Had story, fun and sad side quests. Blackjack chests. Boss was alright.
I ranked off gameplay and thanks to map design the Jackpot took my #1, but love and tentacles has the best enemies by far a great complementary set of enemies who DON'T recycle the same combat roles we typically see from foes. Like that's my one complaint with the Dev team, their foes seem to always fill the same limited number of combat roles and in Borderlands some even step on eachother's toes all trying to play the same role that you as a player already generally know how to counter. That's why i hope they actually take the corporations into real consideration when they make the next game. Tediore NPCs having a bunch of cheap drones that they deploy ehile the troops aren't that good but have sheer volume vs you as well as a spam of healbots and shield bits etc, Vladof should be rebels (cheap Ambush troops, maybe with stealth, dependant on grenades and sustained fire) and super heavies (armor out the Ying yang, with a diffrent firemode for every situation) and really focus on changing the combat up when you encounter a different foe type.
I LOVED the handsome jackpot! Maybe i’m biased because of my love for gambling but there were so many cool things in that dlc! 1 it got me nostalgic for jack by re-introducing timothy 2. No vehicles which in book is always a plus as borderlands doesn’t have the best vehicle mechanics 3. Fun side missions and objectives, my favorite being torgue’s sauce hunt 4. Cool legendary guns my favorite being the lucky 7 pistol 5. Blackjack chests, how fun is it to be able to beat RNGesus by getting that 21! 6. A fun supporting cast Lucky number 7. A fun final boss that basically feels like the handsome jack fight we should have gotten in bl2! 8. Despite being small it never feels lacking in content like the krieg dlc 9. Despite having larger maps it never feels empty like the hammerlock dlc 10. It doesn’t take itself too serious like the western dlc!
I agree 100000% there is not a single flaw with and some jackpot except it has some lackluster legendaries but also some of my favorites (TORGUE hot sauce gun is amazing)
1) Guns, love and Tentacles . Cool areas, neat enemy designs and I love the fishy jokes 2) Handsome Jackpot . Moxxi best waifu. 3) Fantastic Fustercluck. I like trains, but was to short. 4) Bounty of Blood . Nice western and japanese mix. not really memorable story/characters
Exactly. Thought handsome Jackpot and guns love and tentacles we’re pretty close to me. I loved the settings of both and they both felt like borderlands dlc’s to me while the others kinda sucked unfortunately
DLC 3 is so much worse than DLC 1 in my view. It's nothing special as you said, but compared to that empty soulless disappoint that is DLC3, it seems like a brilliant story with great environments and interesting/fun side quests.
Ill be honest, i only really enjoyed playing jackpot everything else was either okay or garbage to me. Kriegs dlc felt like it was supposed to be something more but it was too short and not enough and I wish they had more story content. Bounty was okay and I don't mind it. I hated the hammerlock dlc it just wasnt fun for me.
@@saitamaflare2886 jackpot nailed atmosphere. That whole dlc is just a pleasure to chill in. Music was amazing and perfectly compliments the setting too
Agreed with almost everything you said, except I'd put BOB last. I agree with everything you said about, the legendaries, the tone etc... but it is almost worse than the base game for stopping the gameplay. If you don't know what I mean, play the intro to it again. It's fine the first time through, but after that it's just 15 - 20 minutes of waiting to be able to move on.
@@DominatorElite4 I wasn't talking about cutscenes, I was talking about the bits like meeting rose and having to wait for her to move forward, following the sheriff through town etc. It stops the gameplay, and once you know what they're gonna say, doesn't offer anything else.

Great Video! i wish more people would follow your formula
Bounty of bloods story was just borderlands 2’s but simplified. Evil Corp. gets new ceo (rose) with uses mysterious element to unleash vault monster. Not a bad story but it felt repetitive as I played it for the first time
Guns Love and Tentacles was trash. The final boss was so forgettable and underwhelming. Story was fine. Loot was good. Moxxis heist was fire, loved everything. I seem to be the only one that enjoyed Bounty of Blood I enjoyed it a lot. Kriegs was great, atmosphere was amazing and the psychological symbolism was great. However, I feel like we could've used a little bit more content and explanations. Like the purpose in why a psycho is a psycho. I think it should've been longer but I really liked it. I don't really care about the rating as long as GLT Is at the bottom. Lol.
I love the 1st dlc, but mainly because Timothy is one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise. Easily my number 1 or 2 just for his inclusion and arc alone. I really liked all of them and it hard for me to rank them. My tier list switches constantly lol.
Even with the flipper, lightshow, and the song which I admittedly have downloaded. Bounty of Blood is not only my least favorite Dlc in Bdl3 but possibly the entire series. Dlc 1 was great. I mean Freddy Alone made it great! And as a Krieg main, Dlc 4 was everything good in this life.
And dlc2 had an amazing world and beautiful vibe to it. Also it has some of the best guns in the game, still which is a testament to how well they were made. They still shred even on m10 level 65. The clairvoyance, unseen threat, anarchy, soulrender, skullmasher are all really amazing. And the pearl is the best artifact for anyone but Zane.
I agree that BOB wasnt the best bit the potential is there. I hope they go the more serious route. The narrator wasnt serious enough, too jokey. Why do i like it being serious? It add weight to the story. It also make the few jokes written in funnier because its not everything happeening and you can put more time into the joke.

DLC 2 was by far my favorite!!! It’s story was alright but the side missions made up for it. Honestly if they made the reason the vault hunter came to Xylogus the wedding but made the detective side mission the main mission it would have been perfect! The wedding could be a strong point for side missions as well as the crazy towns people. The setting, lore and feel of DLC2 was by far the best and it has my favorite dlc weapons still.
Bounty of Blood was probably my personal least favourite. There just wasn't any characters that I really gravitated towards or actually cared about. My personal ranking is: Bounty of Blood 4th, Handsome Jackpot 3rd, Krieg's Fustercluck 2nd place and Guns, love and Tentacles a very clear 1st.
I found the characters of bounty of blood kind of boring. Some of the enemies and vibe were fun, but it was just a discount Red Dead Redemption/ New Vegas.
I said I the wedding of hammerlock and wainwright should’ve been a side mission, and Ava podcast should’ve been the focus it fits the horror and I liked everything but the main plot. And this one guy said I was homophobic and that I hated the dlc when I said “it’s okay”.
I enjoyed the DLC for the most part. Each had their ups and downs but they all had something that made them stand out. Handsome Jackpot had that familiar fun vibe that was absent in Borderlands 3 after opening the vault on Promethea. Reuniting with Timothy (my TPS main) and learning about his life since I'd seen him last in TPS was great. The casino areas were vibrant and fun to explore and find the hidden VIP rooms. It was hilarious to know that Jack was actually being quite modest with his design of Opportunity when you walk in to the casino strip and see his face everywhere. Although some areas are tedious to get through and most of the new legendaries and story bosses aren't memorable, with the exception of Zane's Seein' Dead class mod and the Ion Cannon. Although the Pretty Boy/Jackpot fight is pretty cool for a final boss, probably the best of all 4 DLC, and I personally found it funny that we defeat PB by bankrupting him. Guns, Love & Tentacles I found less enjoyable. Mostly because of Gaige. She was my favourite character (and my main) of Borderlands 2. I was hoping she'd get the Timothy treatment and reveal what she's been doing since we'd last seen her. I was pretty disappointed hen all I got was "I don't want to talk about it" and learn through her dialogue that she now acts more like Tiny Tina and has become a lonely alcoholic, treating Deathtrap like her significant other. Likewise, I found the story kind of uninteresting. Gearbox wouldn't risk more backlash for being "unprogressive" if they didn't go through with the wedding, so it never truly felt like we may lose Wainright. Although I actually felt a bit insulted for Hammerlocke and Wainright that, outside of whichever character the player chose, the only ones who showed up to the wedding was Gaige (the wedding planner), Deathtrap (her plus one) and Claptrap (who wasn't even invited). Could no one else really not show up? The bosses, except the Wendigo, weren't memorable. Even more so since 2 of them were just like regular enemies we'd already been fighting. However, the atmosphere of the locations was amazing. Skittermaw Basin, The Lodge and Cursehaven are fantastically designed. Burton's side mission was heartbreaking and made me tear up. Bounty of Blood is easily my favourite, because it ticks a lot of boxes for what a DLC should be, especially one thing that is missing from the main game; recognition to the player. Our actions and completion of quests for the townspeople of Vestige actually had an impact on the town and its citizens. And they're actually thankful for your efforts. It's not just another "oh, cool, vault hunter, you saved us all. But let's be sure to acknowledge the true heroes of this story, Lilith and Ava. Surely you couldn't have done it without them being nearby." Gearbox made the right call by putting comedy on the backburner and using it sparingly while the plot, admittedly a little generic, is still quite engaging and feels like there is actual stakes involved, especially when you see the big green mushroom cloud dominating the horizon. The characters are likeable and you actually learn more about them if you can find the echo logs scattered around the maps, Rose being the main focus. Rose is probably the best villain we've had for Borderlands 3. Again, thanks to echo logs, you learn a great deal about her character being focused, ambitious, tactical and cold. It actually surprised me that she was the big bad of the DLC, mostly because I expected her to be a quest-giving NPC. The areas were visually interesting, some more than others such as Ashfall Peaks with its bathhouse. But they also did something else right by fixing a problem the main game had by actually putting mini bosses in far corners of each map that it was actually a reward for exploring rather than having small paths leading to dead ends. Most of the story bosses were varied and actually had interesting designs, Kormash and his tattoos springs to mind, although I was disappointed by the final boss. Not Rose, but the Ruiner. After fighting Devil Saurians throughout the DLC, I was hoping to fight Rose atop a gigantic Saurian like something out of Dino Riders, instead of the giant rock turtle we got. Lastly, the loot. Oh, the loot. So many good guns. The Flipper, Complex Root, Light Show, Beacon, and Unkept Harold. Sadly no shields, grenades or class mods, but the weapons alone made my Moze much more effective. Krieg's Fustercluck was my least favourite. It is such a 180 from Bounty of Blood mostly because of an absolute lack of content (which is understandable because of working from home) but also due to the lame writing making its return in force. The "story" seemed to take inspiration from the main game to give us stillborn jokes about meat and be completely indecisive about which direction to take Krieg's journey so we ended up with 3 subpar mini stories; 1 which was completely unnecessary and 2 others that could have been much better if they actually focused on Krieg's grief process or looked up what has already been mentioned in Borderlands 2. Personally, I would have preferred if they had made the story of Krieg's Fustercluck about Krieg learning of Maya's death and then going the denial stage of grief, which causes an upheaval in his recovering sanity and that twists everything around as his past comes back to torment him worse than before, so we get the Locomobius fight, we get the Dr. Benedict fight, but we also witness Krieg's escape with the assistance of Dr. Samuel, that we atually learn something new about Krieg, that we see some of the impact Maya has had on him, which leads to the anger stage of grief where psycho Krieg blames that little shit Ava and we have to fight Krieg's twisted mental version of her as a final boss (so players can feel better by shooting Ava in the face), after which Maya gives her speech and finally we get an acceleration to the acceptance stage of grief where both Kriegs can accept that she's gone, but they will keep her memory alive and we get the final cutscene of them making a house and a life with her (which was so damn beautiful). Finish that up with Vaulthalla as Krieg's reward for helping him get through his loss and call it a day. I'll admit that even though I view the whole mini story as unnecessary, I did like Krieg's interpretation of Brick and Mordecai. Did not understand the whole Psychoreaver and Vaulthalla parts, but I was mentally numb while playing the DLC and don't remember if they actually gave an explanation to them.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Fustercluck was too short. It had a fun aesthetic and really cool dive into the two sides of his personality but it was over so quickly compared to the others.
Urgh, Ghenna was the worst for me. Irritating characters (Rose) and the story I just hate and don’t get me started with the “music”. Jackpot is my favourite. I love the NPCs and how the Casino resembles Hyperion design because, obviously lol. I also like that most of the enemies are robot based so I can equip mostly corrosive throughout the whole game. Freddie is just the funniest dude!
I definitely feel like either Guns, Love and Tentacles or Bounty of Blood could take first place. Personally, I'd choose the former. I love Xylourgos as a setting, I love the lovecraftian inspiration, I love the side missions, I love the new characters, I just loved EVERYTHING about that DLC. In particular, Burton Briggs' questline was so unique and took me by complete surprise, and Mancubus had me laughing the hardest I've laughed since BL2.
I was kinda suprised when you said that Bounty of Blood wasn't that funny because for me, it was the funniest Borderlands 3 DLC due to the commentator. It hits exactly my humour. Nice video, keep up the good work.
I really like the cowboy DLC. It has been a very long time since I laughed out loud at a video game. But the “wisest cowboy in the world” side quest was amazing.
My list is nearly the same, I’d just swap Jackpot and The Krieg dlc on my list. In my opinion, it was an interesting story but I didn’t feel as engaged as I did with the plot in Jackpot. I guess cause I like me a good ol’ fashioned heist haha
Cool, I found my old comment. Now update time :P 1. Fustercluck 2. Guns Love & Tentacles 3. Bounty of Blood 4. Handsome Jackpot My initial impressions. Here's my updated list now that I've gotten/played through thoroughly all of the DLC for myself: 1. Guns Love and Tentacles 2. Handsome Jackpot 3. Fustercluck 4. Bounty of Blood This is after looking at them more critically. Third time's the charm. 1. Gambling addiction 2. Hammy and Jake 3. Clusterfuck 4. Cowboys? After sittin on em for like, a year lol They all got old quick tho
The entire story of Krieg and Maya in 3 pisses me off everytime I see it because of not only how LAZY it was, but the fact that they chose to do it at all. Roland dying in 2 was sad but you could see it coming, and to be honest he was boring as all hell. Krieg and Maya together are two of the most interesting characters to listen to and experience in the entire series, Krieg especially. And for them to just kill off Maya like ND killed Joel in TLOU2, and for them to just completely waste the entire potential of the Krieg DLC, pisses me off to no end. Ava should have been the character to die in 3 instead of Maya, which then causes her to have severe mental trauma and begin to gain a darker side like Krieg does, and then have them play off of that. Just imagine seeing pissed off Maya AND pissed of Krieg fighting together, would be the most badass thing ever. And instead we got this trash, such wasted potential.
Who else would be a wedding planner in a setting where wedding planners are supposed to be badasses? A new character would be just as random as having Gaige do the job, and Gaige's relationship with her bot fits this role really well.
a minor nitpick but when talking about guns love and tentacles you stated that wainwright and aleister where worried "is he right for me, is he not.." which isn't really true. they were doubting themselves, and if THEY are right for their partner, if they themselves can live up to what their partner expects and deserves, which is important in that it put them in contrast with the villains, who in the end were mostly concerned about themselves while talking about what true love is.
I thought the Handsome Jackpot was the best by a long shot lol. The humour didn’t miss and it gave me massive Tales from the Borderlands vibes. To each their own tho
I, for some strange reason, agree with your ranking and the reasoning behind it. I was sitting here saying, "He better say Bounty of Blood is the best." The whole setup is nice. Meeting the assuming antagonist at the beginning, the weaving of the ballad as the story progressed, and the weapons made my day. I even ran through the DLC with FL4K using any shotgun at my disposal and the Quickdraw as my only two weapons. The 3rd DLC just made its mark in a way that cannot truly be explained but is greatly appreciated.
Just wanna say I love your channel so much. It really doesn't even matter which topic you cover, it's always well researched, underlayed with great music, incredibly well narrated, it's so great to listen to it while I'm drawing, kind of relaxing and soothing and also witty and funny at times. Just keep it up, dude, you make great content and I hope people tell you this enough. :)
See I felt almost opposite about Bounty of Blood. The legendaries were nice yes, but I just didn’t care about what was happening in the story :/ the setting was interesting, but I didn’t find the characters nearly as intriguing.
bro bounty of blood for me was so underwhelming I didnt even know it existed until like months later because i didnt hear a single person praising it lmao
I rate it as this: #1 Bounty of Blood #2 Handsome Jackpot #3 Love, Guns, & Tentacles #4 The Great Fustercluck I also love some of the legendaries I got... forgot their names but I remember their flavor descriptions. An Assault Rifle with the flavor text: "A Broken Smile Beneath Her Wings" and a Shotgun: "So my demons. Your end is near" are two weapons I got that literally help me slaughter almost everything in one or two shots, especially in Mayhem modes and TVHM playthrough and I did get a few cool mods and grenades. Not sure if they were from the DLCs though.
The way Bounty of Blood was being talked about, I expected to go in to a stoic, dramatic DLC. It's really no different than other standard Borderlands fare. They didn't "completely get rid of" the humor of Borderlands. The humor was everywhere in this DLC, just as with the rest of Borderlands.
Prettyboy kinda reminds me of mr house from new vegas, you know that dude who always talks and talks but does nothing on his own, has plenty of robot army and plans to make even bigger robot army, owns a luxury casino etc.....
At least Mr.House actually had some kind of background, nuance, intrigue, wit, and simply just actual character put into him, despite mostly only being seen as a face on a tv screen. I literally forget Pretty Boy exists until someone brings him up or unless I play the dlc again. Mr.House, on the other hand, will always be a memorable character for me in terms of the characters in New Vegas, or just gaming in general.
@@dekucake Well that's because New Vegas is a ARPG while Borderlands is a looter shooter. Of course the villain the arpg is going to be more memorable than a villain and a looter shooter. Except Handsome Jack, he's the best.
1. Bounty of Blood: Great setting, Good Story, Awesome Guns. 2. Guns, Love, and Tentacles: great setting, Good Story, it ends too abruptly and you never get to fight the big monster. 3. Moxxis Heist: Great Bosses, somewhat formulaic story. 4. Psycho Kreig: so much missed opportunity, very linear and boring.
I personally put Moxxi's Heist higher, just because I appreciate it being a low-stakes romp. I feel it's the only one that really hit what it was aiming for.
For me, fun factor...Krieg was first, Bounty and Jackpot were tied for 2nd and I hated love and tentacles. Story was fine, but the library with endless OP mob waves made it unbeareable for my tastes. My mind just isnt made to calculate min max values. I understand the concepts, but I just cant be fucked to skill tree build towards optimum stats to be utilized with thiis specific anointed weaponwhile Im wearing the...blah blah blah.
my order of worst to best would probably have been Bounty of blood, Psycho krieg, Guns Love and tentacles, Moxxi's heist Bounty of blood just felt kind of slow paced and boring but the maps were cool I just wish they were fleshed out with more content overall just felt incomplete and rushed Psycho krieg had some really cool ideas and I wouldn't put it much far behind Guns Love and Tentacles but it needed more in the way of sidequests and should have focused more on Maya's death which just felt kind of vague Guns Love and tentacles just felt pretty cool they should have done more with Gaige's character tho and ye Hammerlock and Wainwright already talk a fair amount why give them a dlc Moxxis heist just felt the most complete to me the atmosphere felt really cool and the characters were interesting and there was a decent amount of sidecontent it also felt like they actually did a character justice for once as well (Timothy) rather than just bringing the character back and not really doing much with them like most other previous characters
The fact that an entire DLC was made remotely and still turned out pretty good AND on time is impressive.
@@MrTrueCaller619 no. they fucking weren't... They are entirely detached from the main story which is how dlc always is for borderlands.
@@MrTrueCaller619 don't be silly.

I’ve not played it but I want it to be similar to tiny Tina’s dnd dlc after you tell kreig that maya has died
Yeah, but, like mentionned in the vid, Covid did a lot to mess things up. Probably the best would have been to delay the dlc, so to have it completed. But I'm not sure investors were okay with the idea, and the fact that it would collide with the planned schedule of dlcs, season 2, etc.
The kreig dlc was a complete disappointment. The claptastic voyage was far better
I feel like the loot in the Krieg DLC was also a bit disappointing. Yes some the legendaries are effective, but this is gear made in the mind of Krieg. They should be the strangest and most unique items in the game, but most just feel like better versions of normal gear
To be honest, Pretty boy reminded me of Steele, All talk and no action. They had little to none impact imo.

@@WorldzMo5t3pic Yeah, it is stated at some point in Borderlands 2, I think in one of the head hunter dlcs, that Gaige has/had a crush on Hammerlock

You are definitely not alone in this, Coyote Gray. The Handsome Jackpot DLC ends so abruptly, but has an excellent payoff in the end. Though it does seem as though you are somewhat cheated on loot crates.
I loved this dlc still my favourite out of all of them
It was the first dlc for bl3 so as expected it’s mediocre and not as packed as the following dlcs
It was so brain numbing to me
It's actually insulting to Guns Love and Tentacles that you didn't mention the absolute MASTERPIECE that is the Cold Case series of side quests.
Agreed. THAT is how sidequests should be done and the reward for it is not bad at all.
oh my god them so much, honestly them alone made gun love and tentacles my top one
@Bunt Cakes that part was so unique though. I thought it was cool.
Hell ya, that was the first bit of borderlands that really hit me hard since roland's funeral.
I quit watching this as soon as he said he doesn't do the side quests because they don't add anything to the character or story.

All of the 80s vibes in handsome jackpot is perfect, so slept on
Bounty of Blood was probably my personal least favourite.
I agree with everything you said, even your rankings.
The story and side quests were done b4 the pandemic

Honeslty i forgot bounty of blood existed.
What is your favorite?
Bounty of Blood was my favorite, but Samurai-Western alien dinosaur cowboys is very much my Thing. It's a niche audience, but I loved it.
@@cnkclark My favorite was Guns, Love, and Tentacles because I have a big interest in Lovecraftian Horror.
And it’s not like people would be angry if they delayed fustercluck it till later in the year so why not give yourself more time to give the dlc more of a chance
wow, i just cant agree, comparing these dlc's with borderlands 2 all of them are so bad, the only respectable bosses were krieg and jack
@@fecaliro26 I wasn't comparing them to past DLCs, just giving my thoughts on them as standalone experiences.
The narrator was for me one of the things about the DLC I hated. I couldn't stand listening to him.
I loved the narrator but I kept up suspition that he was gonna end up being the real leader or smth
The main problem I have with the krieg dlc is the absence of dr. Samuel

For real, that final boss was 1. Too easy and 2. Really bland and didn’t pay off
The reason why i liked it is that i liked the intrigue and the mystique of the planet. Sure the boss really let us all down.
I honestly didn't care at all about the "love" story in it. As eruptionfang said: it was all expected.
GLT has my favorite gun in it. Soulrender is amazing.

My list:
1. DLC 4 (Krieg) (obviously because Krieg is my favorite character)
2. DLC 2 (Marriage)
3. DLC 1 (Jackpot)
4. DLC 3 (Bounty)
For me I'm thinking like how I felt when I played the DLC's: basically this list is a list which avoke most emotions from me when playing these and how I liked their quirks.
I agree with this list perfectly
I agree , Though bounty was cool to play through it just didn't have characters that I was wanted to see more of of.
Favoritism’s a bitch but I can get enough of kreig
Rose is by far my favorite bl3 villain (I mean, that’s not saying too much but still!). I kept waiting for the odd joke here and there, the dry humor, but it never came. When she killed her devil I was like, “damn.”. Then she roles up for the plot twist and kills the sheriff and I’m like... “Damn!”. She just seemed so badass. I wish she did a bit more than just run away though after the prologue...
She do kinda just run the whole dlc. at least her boss fight is rather cool for a humanoid though.
Only reason I bought it was for the unkempt Harold
I liked it...
Yeah it was. Krieg's one is much bad because it just dissapoints
I loved bounty of blood, but handsome jackpot felt like it was only half a dlc to me for some reason, like it was missing something
It was nice in bounty of blood that they brought back one of the best pistols from borderlands 2, the unkempt harold
Unfortunately in my opinion the borderlands 3 herald sucks the critical is an upgraded herald for borderlands 3
@@ianalden2227 uh is really good in bl3
Plp wanted it to be disgusting again
Makes no sense why they would do that when they saw the gun as a problem in bl2
Thats the highlight of the dlc for you? Really?
@@STALKER777LK dang u must play on mayhem 1 😂😂
@@iialucardii4306 no I play mayhem 10. And to be honest, if youre complaining about UH in bl3, you probably cant build or aim. With a reply like that I believe you cant do both haha
I agree with everything except for #1. Bounty of Blood was least memorable for me.
Cap I Enjoyed Bounty Of blood I had The best Time it was so fun
How can you agree with all but one. If not first then where would it go. And the spot it takes moves the existing dlc somewhere else. Take that liberal
After wonderlands dlc
Everyone: perhaps I was too harsh on you
Once of my favorite aspects of the Western DLC is the fact that from the jump you feel out of place like you don't belong and the story plays with that unfamiliarness to create an atmosphere that guides you similar to how Frank Lloyd Wright designs his houses, that being total control of your experience but in this case and usually in the case for his projects to great success
Where is that Brick/Tina clip from @ 10:39? I've thought I've seen every inch of Borderlands lore but that doesn't look familiar.
Its the introduction clip at the beginning of the attack on dragon's keep dlc
The thing that sold me on that Hammerlock and Wain DLC was Gaige, I still hadn't unlocked artifacts yet, and I accidently landed into that DLC. Gaige was my first Vault hunter, and hearing her try her hand at Wedding plan was such a gas. More importantly, she mentions on so many occasions that she doesn't really have anyone outside of Deathtrap. She just sounds lonely. Would an Anarchy queen throw her hat at random career choices just to find a connection? Yeah, I totally bought that.
Personal Rankings:
1. Jackpot (9/10)
2. Guns, Love, & Tentacles (7/10)
3. Bounty of Blood (6/10)
4. Fustercluck (6/10
Bounty of Blood and Fustercluck were interesting but short.
@@corvax8644 Yeah, I'm relieved too. You got to wonder though, did the voice actor for Jack stay on script or become who he was in BL2?
@@MGSTube78 I think Dameon Clark probably had a little fun with the character, I doubt everything was written exactly how it was delivered
Man How can you not dig “Love and tentacles”it was so fun and a bit creepy. Glad it got number two
I ranked off gameplay and thanks to map design the Jackpot took my #1, but love and tentacles has the best enemies by far a great complementary set of enemies who DON'T recycle the same combat roles we typically see from foes.
RIGHT LOVE AND TENTACLES was my absolute favorite dlc. I love the side missions and the story line. THE TALKING FISH JOKES!!
That's on my number 4 list
i hated every mission it was so dragged on i felt lke i was doing the same thing over n over
Pretty much completely agree, except for me Guns, Love and Tentacles is #1 and Bounty of Blood is a close second
Shut up Tentacles and love should be 5 because its the worse story ever such a stupid fu#cking game
@@monkeyjuner6651 Let me guess, you’re mad that it’s centered around a gay couple? Or is it the interracial part that’s got you all riled up?
@@monkeyjuner6651 mad because sad
I LOVED the handsome jackpot! Maybe i’m biased because of my love for gambling but there were so many cool things in that dlc!
1 it got me nostalgic for jack by re-introducing timothy
2. No vehicles which in book is always a plus as borderlands doesn’t have the best vehicle mechanics
3. Fun side missions and objectives, my favorite being torgue’s sauce hunt
4. Cool legendary guns my favorite being the lucky 7 pistol
5. Blackjack chests, how fun is it to be able to beat RNGesus by getting that 21!
6. A fun supporting cast
Lucky number 7. A fun final boss that basically feels like the handsome jack fight we should have gotten in bl2!
8. Despite being small it never feels lacking in content like the krieg dlc
9. Despite having larger maps it never feels empty like the hammerlock dlc
10. It doesn’t take itself too serious like the western dlc!
I agree 100000% there is not a single flaw with and some jackpot except it has some lackluster legendaries but also some of my favorites (TORGUE hot sauce gun is amazing)
The best DLC for me is the Guns, Love and Tentacles. The best new characters, similar eerie feeling to that of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. 🙂
1) Guns, love and Tentacles
. Cool areas, neat enemy designs and I love the fishy jokes
2) Handsome Jackpot
. Moxxi best waifu.
3) Fantastic Fustercluck. I like trains, but was to short.
4) Bounty of Blood
. Nice western and japanese mix. not really memorable story/characters
Exactly. Thought handsome Jackpot and guns love and tentacles we’re pretty close to me. I loved the settings of both and they both felt like borderlands dlc’s to me while the others kinda sucked unfortunately
"they wrote an entire song" like there isn't a soundtrack in every dlc
DLC 3 is so much worse than DLC 1 in my view. It's nothing special as you said, but compared to that empty soulless disappoint that is DLC3, it seems like a brilliant story with great environments and interesting/fun side quests.
Ill be honest, i only really enjoyed playing jackpot everything else was either okay or garbage to me.
Kriegs dlc felt like it was supposed to be something more but it was too short and not enough and I wish they had more story content.
Bounty was okay and I don't mind it.
I hated the hammerlock dlc it just wasnt fun for me.
Jackpot has the best story among all the dlcs.
You can skip cutsceanes
@@DominatorElite4 I wasn't talking about cutscenes, I was talking about the bits like meeting rose and having to wait for her to move forward, following the sheriff through town etc. It stops the gameplay, and once you know what they're gonna say, doesn't offer anything else.
i am a HUGE fan of the way you made this video. you didnt go through all of them and then save the rankings to the end, which may have been yawn inducing but instead you listed them in order and because we knew their ranking when you began talking about them we could better grasp your points.
Great Video!
i wish more people would follow your formula
Bounty of bloods story was just borderlands 2’s but simplified. Evil Corp. gets new ceo (rose) with uses mysterious element to unleash vault monster. Not a bad story but it felt repetitive as I played it for the first time
If the Hammerlock DLC ended with the VH fighting the big ass vault monster, it would be #1 easily
Nice Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon music during the
Guns Love & Tentacles segment.
Love that game's music.
Very underrated.
Yeeeah😊
When Your a Zane Main but you don’t have the Jackpot DLC:
Then they aren’t a Zane main
I'm rockin the troublemaker com and its great
Guns Love and Tentacles was trash. Lol.
Wasn't it Hammerlock who introduced us to Gaige during the BL2 marketing. I think that's why she's involved in his wedding.
I love the 1st dlc, but mainly because Timothy is one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise. Easily my number 1 or 2 just for his inclusion and arc alone. I really liked all of them and it hard for me to rank them. My tier list switches constantly lol.
Gaige running from cop cuz of science fair was her intro to becoming a Vault Hunter. That was her "A Meat Bicycle Built For Two'
Even with the flipper, lightshow, and the song which I admittedly have downloaded.
Worse then fucking Hammerlock dlc and Dr ned? Worse then slaughter dome in BL1?
@@billyboleson2830 whoah, whoah, whoah, whoah. hold the FUCK up. you think Dr. Ned's DLC was bad?!?! bruh.. i can't with you. i mean. i wouldn't say that it's contending with for the "best DLC in the franchise" spot, but bad? c'mon (i agree with your other two examples, though)
damm, putting Bounty of Blood under Big Game Hunt? hot take right here
I'm glad to see some love towards bounty of blood, my favorite dlc that always seems to be forgotten by people
The worst thing about the Handsome Jackpot is the wasted potential, especially after seeing what it could've been from the concept art
The krieg ending lowkey gave me mega feels
When you realise Luigis mansion 2’s theme is the background music
Gotta say love guns and tentacles is my personal favourite loved the setting and creepy feel
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Fustercluck was too short. It had a fun aesthetic and really cool dive into the two sides of his personality but it was over so quickly compared to the others.
All the dlcs have wonderful art direction. The visuals are the best part of the dlcs.
4. BoB
3. Handsome Jackpot
2. Krieg
1. GLT

I totally agree!
Love how of bounty of blood almost dives back into the mood of borderlands 1
My list is nearly the same, I’d just swap Jackpot and The Krieg dlc on my list. In my opinion, it was an interesting story but I didn’t feel as engaged as I did with the plot in Jackpot. I guess cause I like me a good ol’ fashioned heist haha
Actually bounty of blood does have a returning character. The Harold
Cool, I found my old comment. Now update time :P
1. Fustercluck
2. Guns Love & Tentacles
3. Bounty of Blood
4. Handsome Jackpot
My initial impressions.
Here's my updated list now that I've gotten/played through thoroughly all of the DLC for myself:
1. Guns Love and Tentacles
2. Handsome Jackpot
3. Fustercluck
4. Bounty of Blood
This is after looking at them more critically.
Third time's the charm.
1. Gambling addiction
2. Hammy and Jake
3. Clusterfuck
4. Cowboys?
After sittin on em for like, a year lol
They all got old quick tho
I loved dlc 3. The fact it's main story was so serious, but they made the side quests so silly was awesome.
It’s not even unbelievable for Ava to get killed instead because the twins have no qualms in killing a child
Burtons side story was so well done, loved going through it. Mancubus is just awesome
17:10 yep. We can ALL agree
I rate it as this:
#1 Bounty of Blood
#2 Handsome Jackpot
#3 Love, Guns, & Tentacles
#4 The Great Fustercluck
I also love some of the legendaries I got... forgot their names but I remember their flavor descriptions.
Wow... I feel singled out at 3:30 of the video.
The Ion Cannon, Seein’ Dead, and Scraptrap exp farm are amazing.
The ION CANNON is definitely fun, but I will always stand by my OPQ System.
Guns, love, and tentacles actually had good humor and voice lines from amara. The book club lol. And the cold case side quest at the end was great.
The Gameboy start-up sound took me back...damn, nostalgia is a helluva drug
@@dekucake mr house was always memorable yet bratty. Thats why I put a bullet in him.
@@dekucake Well that's because New Vegas is a ARPG while Borderlands is a looter shooter. Of course the villain the arpg is going to be more memorable than a villain and a looter shooter.
Except Handsome Jack, he's the best.
Zane was always a good character to play as, idk why people keep saying he was the worst
I thought the whole point of Handsome Jackpot was to be familiar, and that's why it's one of my favourites personally.
tbh when i heard they were getting married i didnt think of gaige i thought it was gonna be moxxi but nope
I really regret this Tattoo
my order of worst to best would probably have been Bounty of blood, Psycho krieg, Guns Love and tentacles, Moxxi's heist
Bounty of blood just felt kind of slow paced and boring but the maps were cool I just wish they were fleshed out with more content overall just felt incomplete and rushed
Psycho krieg had some really cool ideas and I wouldn't put it much far behind Guns Love and Tentacles but it needed more in the way of sidequests and should have focused more on Maya's death which just felt kind of vague
Guns Love and tentacles just felt pretty cool they should have done more with Gaige's character tho and ye Hammerlock and Wainwright already talk a fair amount why give them a dlc
Moxxis heist just felt the most complete to me the atmosphere felt really cool and the characters were interesting and there was a decent amount of sidecontent it also felt like they actually did a character justice for once as well (Timothy) rather than just bringing the character back and not really doing much with them like most other previous characters
