I was in Cloughie's presence as a raw apprentice in the early 1970's. he used to frighten me to death, but I respected him cos you knew where you stood with him. I also played my bollocks off for him. loved him dearly. Hey young man !!
Liverpool man , saw forest beat liverpool in Europe , and also losing an fa cup tie v derby in 75 or 76 . the man was a total genius . not many like him . god bless him , do we need characters like him again . shankley Stein, Revie ,Paisley, and Clough .
Absolute legend of the game, sadly the way that modern football has gone will probably mean we’ll never see the likes of him again. Thankfully we’ve got so many memories of him and that particular era. Respect to you Cloughie!
My personal feelings are that he was and will always be the greatest of all time. I don't think that he will EVER be surpassed. I also realise that here at Leicester we have alot to thank him for too. Our best manager (Martin O'Neill) learned from him - self admittedly - and promptly led us to the premiership and europe (Via coca-cola cup) So by my estimation, our success under O'Neill was alot to do with what he learned from Brian Clough and I will be eternally grateful for that :)
Imagine the unimaginable of 2020 Brian clough in his prime as manager. How would he manage these wanker footballers of today. I still think he'd build a winning team without champagne Charlie's.

The greatest manager England never had. God bless you Cloughie.
What a manager
The man played for a team I hated as a Newcastle fan but he was a hero to me. Nobody will ever do what Cloughie did.
THE GREATEST MANAGER EVER. BAR NONE. RIP SIR BRIAN CLOUGH. YOU WERE THE TOP ONE

respect to Brian Clough from a Liverpool fan.
Shanks and Cloughe were the greatest managers in British football.
Imagine what Cloughie's thoughts would've been about all this nonsense nowadays. He was quick, sharp and to the point.
All the people that didn’t like this tribute to a great player and manager, are you cricket fans😳. Hope you get better soon
His goal stats are phenomenal.
tottenham fan in peace
Brian Clough was the greatest manager ever
the best bar none, from a newcastle United fan,a son of the North East
Brain Clough would have made an excellent Liverpool manager.
