Thanks for putting this video together. Subscribed. I'm after fixing a cabinet of mine using the video as a tutorial. I did the countersunk piece you mentioned and now I'm just wood filling. Looking forward to this piece working once again 🙏🙌

Glad to help - I figured some others might up with this strange break so I might as well show how I fixed it in hopes it would help some other folks out. Thanks for letting me know it was helpful! - DIYNate
You got it - hope the fix worked for you! My kids like to push down on those doors and lean on them, so the break point seems to be due to the seam in the wood vs. where the door is connected to the hinges. Thanks for your comment! - DIYNate

Hey there - I think I probably just used a very basic wood glue. You could also go with some Gorilla wood glue. If you also use screws the glue will help but the screws do a lot of the securing. Good luck! - DIYNate
I was lost on how to fix my sister's cabinet. This helped tremendously. Thank you for sharing!

Just wanted to say thank you! I was able to replicate this and fix my cabinet door. $1.38 for screws was the best possible outcome. Cheers!
