So good to see your faces again. Missed y'all. Your locs are simply beautiful 😍 Amazing how she did the retie and the curls were still preserved. She must be very gentle. TFS.

      Thank you!
      That’s really kind. I hope you’re well x
I did plait my hair really tight so they dropped slightly but in a good way as they were very tightly done as we took them out this morning.
I used to always do a braidout before a retie and it would last a good 7 days, getting nicer as the curls dropped.
Just nice to do something easy and a little different. Looking forward to doing it on my daughter ❤️

@@leeceyleece2406 I am. Thanks for asking. And thanks for the curling tips. Will try it out on myself and see how long the curls hold up.

Looking good with the braid-out! Yep my daughter has tonnes of lint too! And yes the summer growth is notable - makes the reties come round even quicker!

The lint is a nightmare on kids 😔
Great to hear from you, hope you’re well x

Hey! So lovely to see you sis yes the sun in the UK 🇬🇧 ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ is so hot 🥵 38 degrees that’s a record 🤩.
I’ve been sweating so much which is great for the Locs and skin. Wow your sisterlocs have really grown looking fabulous and healthy! 👌🏾🤩. I love braid outs too! So lovely to see your beautiful daughter in this Video. Her hair looks fabulous also! She’s too cute. When you mentioned Aloe Vera spray it warmed my heart 😉it’s still one of my favourite moisturisers. I’ve been feeding my Locs with Aloe Vera and Rosemary Essential oils. It really helps to keep in the moisture. Children seem to pick up lint so easily although I couldn’t see any in your daughters Locs you must have quickly removed it. All the best with your Sisterloc Journey. 😊

Always such positive vibes from you Mazz and lovely to hear from you!
I hope you’re well and have managed to stay cool - I think through weather also did wonders for my skin and hair actually. I noticed that my daughter’s locs felt good in particular.
Yes! I’m still a fan of aloe, I remember we have that in common but your proper! And make your own products ❤️
Daughters locs are full of lint 😔 I’m not even sure how it happened but I see more every day - she now spends more time in her bonnet than ever before at home and gymnastics.
It’s the one thing I don’t like about sisterlocks, lots and lots of lint and it looks bad because they’re so slim.
Thank you for the kind words. Take care and stay well xx

I was exactly the same in the beginning and UA-cam and insta are the gift that keep on giving so you’ll have plenty to watch.
I hope you’re loving your journey and enjoying your locs - they change so quickly. Take plenty of pics and videos - it’s brilliant to reflect back on your progress and changes as time goes on.
Wishing you all the very best and thanks for watching x

      Thank you so much.
I do find that sisterlocks just grow like weeds, feels like I’m always due for a retie.
My daughters locs are quite full too - again, I feel like sisterlocks showcase this more though. She’s happy with them ❤️

      Thank you!
I have some videos on the products I use but the truth is, not many!
Rosewater occasionally but more on my daughters locs and scalp. I tend to use a mixture of water, aloe juice and some essential oils - rosemary and lemongrass.
With my daughter, sometimes I use argan oil in her scalp after moisturising if her hair is feeling dry.
Washing regularly (every 2 weeks at least) tends keeps our scalps and locs fresh and moisturised.

Aloe Pura or the Holland and Barrett brand - I find they’re both good for me.
      Hope you’re well x

Are you still having scalp problems? How long did you use apple cider vinegar?

    • @leeceyleece2406
      @leeceyleece2406  2 роки тому

      Hi,
No my scalp is in great condition now, aloe gel pre poo and T gel shampoo sorted me out really well thank God 🙌🏿
I don’t really use apple cider vinegar at all anymore.

The locks in the UK look so much healthier and better than her in the US. In just about ever picture I see with people with sister locks, the locks looks really healthy.

Such an interesting observation - I feel like the locs in the US always look gorgeous.
And then in the warmer/tropical climates like Florida, they always look so naturally moisturised.
When I was in JA mine and my daughter’s locs looked and felt so good!
