How to replace ball joints - today I’m replacing the lower ball joints on the Sentra. This was a fun project, I used a rental ball joint press tool from autozone which worked really well.
We found that the wheel bearings are bad also so we will doing those soon.

I know I'm late to the party but I hope you changed the wheel hub assembly on that driver side because that wheel bearing was shot. The instant you started turning it I could see that it was wobbling but after you got done turning it and jiggled it back and forth, I could tell that it was bad so I hope you changed it. You might not have even needed to change the lower ball joint and the wheel hub was probably actually what was wrong on that side. This is coming from a tech that has been doing it for almost 25 years.

oh yeah it is simple when the engine and you cv joints are not in the way ,that is about 6 less styeps ,not everyone removes an engine ton make quick work of things ,and why not serivce your bearing hub which is in poor shape new ball joint will not mask your vibrations and crack sounds and the danger bad bearings can have.
