Thanks so much for watching, as always I appreciate every single one of you ❤️
Love the Jag f f type svr and also the seat belts also need to be replaced due to the air bags the the seat belt tensioner needs to be fixed
@@vwgolffancarreviews7111 dan sorted me out with those too 😅
@@Chris_Slix ok mate 😊 do you like the land rover Discovery I do not but I like the range rover Evoque
Mate I’m actually liking the front bumper in that colour similar to nardo grey I’d like to see the whole car that colour maybe in a wrap what you reckon ? Don’t get me wrong the blue looks really nice also
Loving the SVR your local to me so nice to see a local lad doing well at this UA-cam game…keep it up…oh and if the car on the front is the next project I can’t wait something completely different 🤫😉👍
Battlesbridge always surprises me when I see somewhere I know on UA-cam
"The bumper looks absolute dogs, dangly bits" 😂 nice! Teying to learn myself also. I am as thick with these things too.
Just like watching Chris dion his content his funny and relaxing at the same time - but I am in me man cave getting stoned ! 😂😂 great vids keep it up -SVR sick !!!
Iv not heard of him, ill have to go check him out 😊 thanks man
Another cracking video. Looking forward to the next👍🏻
F-type is such a beautiful motor but the SVR is next level going to be so nice once finished - great work Chris
Great video Chris. Your editing is really great. Looking forward to seeing the final result.
Hi Chris. I recently rebuilt one of these. You can buy the plugs for the headlight from Jaguar and fit them yourself
🇿🇦🇬🇧Bro...I really enjoyed watching your video and this Jag SVR you are building here is gonna turnout absolutely insane 🔥🔥🔥🤞. Super amazing work you put out there. Well done Chris🔥🔥🔥🇬🇧🇿🇦
Don't know how you don't have more subs , your videos are top notch !!
Glad you like them!
MA takes them all
Great video Chris!
You and others on UA-cam have inspired me and I’ve now brought a Range Rover from Copart. Currently I’m feeling the pain of gathering the parts to repair it, in many ways that seems to be the hardest part of getting the car back in the road.
That is awesome!
Auto trim systems highly rated I think matt Armstrong has used them as well
great video ,nice to see Jaguar builds
Great video and content you take the risk and get the reward, looking forward to the finish. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Brilliant video Chris hope you manage to sort it
Fingers crossed. I’m in the uk 🇬🇧 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You’re a brave man Chris I’d be panicking about how to get it all back together cracking video thanks 💪🏻😊👍
Hi Chris and the team ,, lol ,, another great vid keep em coming,, stay safe all ,, 👍
Cheers for another cracking video Chris and it just amazes me how many parts make up a front bumper 😬
Great video, you made me chuckle when you said it was not the first time you had been told you need a bigger tool lol😂
Really enjoy watching your vids, great editing and content!
Thanks dave! Appreciate that
Great video mate!!
Cannot wait for the next one
As an F-Type owner myself, I've really been enjoying this rebuild. It blew me away when you said two years ago you couldn't change some brake pads. I mean I also just watched your AUDI TTS MK2 rebuild (which was amazing!), you've really proven what you can achieve when you just set your mind to it! Great job mate, can't wait to see you behind the wheel of your new Jaaaaag!
I'm not sure what he said was true. If you watch his “THE REAL REASON WHY I HAVE TO SELL ALL MY CARS...” he shows a Seat Arosa which he built before his UA-cam channel around 3 years ago which is fully forged stripped out with a fuel cell and a big turbo. Not sure Chris back then couldn't do brake pads lol.. Still enjoying his content regardless.
Good work. Nice to have Liam, where’s Matt when you need the expert dashboard builder. 😊
Liam is a god send
This build is insane ❤❤🔥🔥
Thanks ollie!
Getting there, I was told damage to those wires on the driver's side is a big issue as the whole loom needs replacing. See my latest video for how I fixed just the headlight connector on mine.
Great vid again Chris. Getting slicker (slixer?) every week as you begin to try the harder bits of the build. Keep em coming pal 👍🏻
Steering wheel first usually helps.
Keep killing it! 👏
Really good video pal , you are catching up with Matt.
Nice colour of this bumper. I know is primer but still nice
Nice one Chris. You're really smashing it with this project.... Every episode is a winner!
Make sure you strip that bumper back down bare for paint!
38 seconds in - Brilliant 😂😂😂😂
Great video, love the edits, good work Chris!
The clapping got me 🤣🤣
Great video Chris. I hope the hunt for parts it kind to you!
Pick up my second F Type tomorrow. Gone from the V8s to the V8 R. Just subscribed; great content 👍
Great video, Chris - love the content around the SVR.
Great update Chris and awesome to see the channel and your confidence grow with ever turn of a spanner. Keep up the excellent work 💙
Your videos are getting better every time . Loved todays Chris
Thanks Paul!
Yoh Chris it's Melvin I'm from south africa big fan of your channel mat amstrong put me on
Great content thanks for sharing this Chris looking forward to seeing the build.👍
Nice one Chris you are doing a amazing job the front bumper looks great brilliant content
another company to use is berkshire jag components good luck with the build
Good progress 👍
Going to be a nice car when it's finished Chris.keep up the good work chap.👌
Quality video mate, loving the channel, the Jags gonna look amazing when it’s done
Nice car, nice job
Done quite a bit of salvage over the years and great to see you upping your game. Question though how come you completely fitted up the bumper before you paint it?
my thought too but who cares. he making sure its right but chris keep up the good work
I want to try get it mot’d before painted so i know i dont have to take it apart again and potentially damage the paint. Might seem daft to some but there is no perfect solution to which order to do these things really 😅
Loving the recent videos you’ve released mate👌🏻.The Jag is gonna look mint when finished 👌🏻
Another good video 🚗🚙🚘⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍
Pending a meet up with Mat’s Porsche 🎉
Nice work lad
Great video Chris, each video which comes out the content is getting better… why didn’t you paint the bumper before fitting the other trims?
Love the videos 📹 content is getting a lot better keep up the great work ethics 🎉
Brilliant very suprized you havnt got treble your subscribers keep it going mate
Appreciate that ❤️
Just found the channel, definitely get the in style of Mat Armstrong vibes! That's no bad thing though love his videos too, subbed!
I’m looking at a damaged one next week. I will have a similar job. This will be useful 👍
May have a few left over parts if you need anything 😊
Genius use of Lloyd retching there 😂👌🏻🍺🏴
Looking good 👍
Thanks Grant!
I love the look of primer weirdly 😂 bumper looked mint 👌
Thats called nardo grey 😅🤣
@@Chris_Slix nardos much darker init 🤷♂️ either way its a winner for me 🤣
If you need to change the air filters it’ll be easier to do them with the bumper off as you’d have to take the 3 piece front splitter again off again to do them
I am tempted to go for open cone filters haha
Giving Mat Armstrong vibes 😅
W vid
This car would look the dogs dangleys all in grey with black alloys judging by the bumper Chris
Top lad, top job
The handle on the passenger side of the gear lever is known as the ‘Oh, Shit’ handle. For when your passenger needs to hang on!
Ah yes that sounds accurate 🤣
Fair play for not using power tools
Great Video Chris. Starting to come together mate
Top stuff build the bumper up again after spraying it.
Watched a lot of Mat's videos and now ended up on your channel after your roadtrip with the Aston. Was I the 42.300 subscriber?
Sad you had to sell the Aston, but life goes on and so does your videos as well. Love this car, especially the blue colour.
PS. I think this video and the next one are swapped in the wrong order on the playlist.
Loving the work you're doing. Couldn't you have done the facelift conversion on this?
Nice long video, banging :)
Chris Snot 🗿amazing build and get well soon 🤧
Forever ill 🤣 bane of my life think I need to start eating limes
Love the build man, wanted to ask what air compressor are you using as I’m in the market for one?
Hi, i lives your content!!!!!
Gives me the fear no torque wrench on wheels missing dash bolts but apart from that👌🏻😳
Great video! I have a question about the front bumper: wasn’t it easier to get it painted before mounting the grilles and all the bits?
you then need to strip the bumper down again for paint. i wouldn't have bothered lol
Just noticed looks like the wheel arch liners you have are the wrong ones the SVR has a vent at the front for brake cooling, I found this out the hard way because I bought the vented ones for mine by mistake if you want to sell the ones you have let me know.
Question: Do you have to take all that bumper apart again for paint? Or does the paint guy do it? Love the car btw!
Air bag shop in hinckley could of done it for you
get matt to help ya lol
Not better painting the bumper first before youve transfer all the bit to it?
I still can’t understand why manufacturers make replacing the dash airbag so damn difficult? Beggars belief that they can’t work out a better way. Aesthetics aside it just makes sense to make them replaceable with a simple swap out method. Surely?
@chris_Slix Chris, you have videos 4 and 5 round the wrong way on your playlist for the Jag F Type sir.
When are you fixing the van head liner lol
Im going for the cloudy ceiling look 😅
All is nice , just really feels like Matt Armstrong sold he's UA-cam
How's Liam's purple audi
Now you need strip the bumper again to paint it duhh
11:55 why wouldnt you just replace the broken airbag panel on the existing dash with the one off the donor dash? Why transfer all the unique pieces over to the donor dash?
The panel for the airbag is designed to break when the airbag deploys. It damages the frame of the dash when it does and if you try to swap over just the leather panel it will probably rip where its designed to anyway. Best to leave them alone for safety reasons.
music at the end isnt the best but great video
Baffles me as to why manufacturers sacrifice a whole dashboard for an airbag activation, why don’t they just have a compartment airbag built in that just lifts out or is that too easy.
"not the first time I've been told I need a larger tool" my man, you should know by now it's how you use the tool🗿
I mean it depends how far the bolt is recessed tbh 😅 sometimes with a shallow socket you just cant get the reach
So much better content then Armstrong as he just repeat and repeat his shit in his vid. Definitely follow bud and good luck ❤
Colby sounded like a proper Karen :
You don't cross you boss ¡!!
Why build up the bumper before it was painted?
I want to try get it mot’d before painted so i know i dont have to take it apart again and potentially damage the paint. Might seem daft to some but there is no perfect solution to which order to do these things really 😅
Love your videos so much and not normally one to comment but you’ve fully assembled the front bumper without having it painted, I know for fact this won’t be stripped back down for paint and just masked off, for me personally brand new Bumper from Jaguar and lengths you have went to fix the car just let’s the job down big time in my opinion.
Dont worry it will be, car just needs a mot first
It's a wreck
Crush it
It's only nuts n bolts...
