Please help me. I really am doing all I can to help my dad. I took him to get a consult for the valve burn the Doctor was very rude and refused to do the valve procedure on my dad because he was diagnosed with early stage lung cancer a year ago. Had it treated already. First words that came out his mouth was, " Sorry to hurt your bubble , but I am not doing the zephyr valve procedure on your dad. Sorry Kid." Broke my heart. Luckily my dad doesn't speak much English , but I felt the pain of the redness within me. I know their has to be someone who can help , and allow my dad to get the procedure so he can live a more normal life , and do some of the things he loves to do. 🙏

Not all COPD patients smoke. Some have never smoked a day in their life it can be genetic 😢

My insurance won’t pay for Combivent they won’t pay for Ellipta they won’t pay for aerosphere. They will pay for proair. I’m in a panic trying to fill prescriptions that are 600 and higher for each one. This is insane

@@SuzyQ1956 I presume that he/she is talking about the 1% chance of dying that goes along with any serious surgery. That has of course to be balanced with risk of death from whatever issue the surgey is trying to deal with and last but not least considerations of quality of life.
